I am not a northerner and I believe and will talk about religious unity.

Generally, the SW need not even talk about any kind of religious unity, because hardly any division along religious lines is hardly any issues to start with! Within the same family, there are people of every possible religious persuasion, and they love themselves as family, as a people and have come a long way together, bearing in mind that the Yorubas lived in an empire for over 500 years!

The northerners of course is the other larger group of people. Their experience is different from the Yorubas and the Yoruba experience is best in class: religious tolerance. It is the same ideology of tolerance in every advanced country of human beings: US, UK, Canada, etc. Plus, they have a significant population of people of both religions, what is the best solution rather than to begin to preach tolerance??

In the East, with a smaller population of mostly insular Ibos with only a singular view of the world, it is an us against them mentality. It is me before everybody else. Ibos way of life has no place for co-habiting with people of different religions or language or opinions. Conclusion: Ignore the results of Reno Omokri's buildupnigeria.com's poll. It was a non-starter ab-initio, and any poll on a non-3rd party, reputable pollster should never be taken serious. This includes the one's on NL because the data can be manipulated and easily changed. Buhari won the poll convincingly and this was why Reno scrambled to quickly copy over phantom poll entries in order to give GEJ a < 1% lead and quickly closed it.

3. WordPress and PollDaddy: For people who do not have a lot of knowledge about how computers work and how data can be manipulated, it may be a bit complex to explain it all in a short post but it is definitely possible and easy. buildupnigeria.com is actually runs on Wordpress installation (free). WordPress during it's installation creates a database that contains several tables for housing data for several parts of the application. Nairaland function on the same principle where all the users, posts, likes, shares, etc are all stored in a database, which contains several tables. To change anyone's post or comment, all you need do is find it and edit it, next time it will display something else. (Just a brief explanation and comparison). Of course, you can build an edit feature for posts (just like you have here), but if you know exactly what you are doing, you can edit it directly from inside a database editor software like WorkBench or Sequel Pro, etc.

PollDaddy is a free plugin that a WordPress blog owner can install on his site. Just install it, it creates a database which can be manipulated to be anything you want. This is really easy stuff. For the first two days that Buhari was leading, I have no doubts that it was during that time that attempts to compromise the database and edit the data directly was being done. This is why it was possible for the poll count for a candidate to increase so quickly and as soon as a "satisfactory" outcome was achieved, the poll was closed! Hahahaha. A simple wikipedia search shows that it is owned by him (First Paragraph), there are way too many to post here and the reader is encouraged to search on the internet.
