Politics / Re: Buhari To Slash Nigeria’s Ministries From 49 To 19 – Presidency by madamoringo(f): 2:03pm On Sep 14, 2015
TonyeBarcanista:
This is a sham of a news, Nigeria have about 30 ministries and 42 Ministers as at May 29, 2015. Some ministries have more than one minister to meet up the constitutitonal requirement. Lemme break it down....

36 Ministers.... Representing each of the 36 states
6 Ministers... Representing each of the 6 Geographical zones

Total: 42.... This has been the norm since 1999.

Buhari can decide to operate just one ministry BUT he must appoint at least 36 Ministers if to disregard the '6' from the zones.

Foolishness and dumbness is your portion in life! For 3 months now, Buhari has not appointed any kind ministers and the country is not dead! There's nothing you and your fellow wailing wailers can or will ever do or be able to do about it! If he implements this point policy of reducing the number of ministers and invests the money into something better, there's still nothing you, your fellow biafraudians, losers and losing wailing wailers will ever do about it!

I hope someone will convince these Ibos not to exterminate themselves with war. Lots of countries are forging ahead despite several problems, but Ibos think they need a 100% ibo country to succeed??

veralech:

You speak sense! All the e-warriors boast because they never believed that war will ever come again.

Even if one plays with fire, one will not touch it.

Who in his right biafran sense wants to turn igbo land into a battle field?

The superpowers and other countries will be too eager to supply Nigeria weapons to test on Igbos.

Igbos are better off fighting for their rights inside Nigeria than marginalizing themselves with this foolish talk of war and secession.

This post is in response to you, amakasul and amansu. Ibos are doing everything to start another war, they provoke other Nigerians, call the country all kinds of names. When the finally get what they want, who will pity them? Most of these people cry if they see a lunatic who has killed another human being but these brand of biafrans who cry if 1 person is killed are now doing everything they can to ensure that all Ibos in Nigeria are in danger! If the war starts now, Kanu who has never been an ordinary police man or prison warden all his life refuses to show his face, who will lead the war he has started? If the war starts and other Nigerians who you're going to war with blockade all Ibos from being able just go even leave but rather deals with all of them ruthlessly by summary execution, what will Kanu and the Ibos who are crying for war in Anambra, America and UK be able to do? Note that the Ibos coming from America would have it worse! They will not be able to come to the country now in a state of war, no airline will fly into a country in a state of war, the Ibos who arrive from America or anywhere to fight would most likely be shot at the airport and unable to go back, the ports in the SS will not even allow a grain of salt to leak into Biafra, never mind that Biafra Iboland will not be able to break out the siege or entrapment around the entire Iboland while no Ibos can escape into Biafra. Note that all I have said here are capabilities a country of 150M+ (without Ibos) can do easily and no foreign country is going to come here and do anything about it! The best they will do is to hold the Ibos in their country from coming to Nigeria to die in a needless war, they will not let their airlines fly here except Ibos will buy a private jet to bring themselves to Nigeria to die at the border.

I will have no pity on Ibos if they successfully commit mass suicide by starting another war. This time Nigeria will learn from the mistake the same mistake the Allies made in WW1 by allowing Getmany to surrender and the first Biafra War allowing Ibos to surrender and get amnesty. This time, it appears their sins on NL alone, the BS they write will be read out to them as they are summarily executed for their stoopidity to start another war.

Before 99% of people opened this thread, it was already known there are the tadigbopoles from the land of buhahahafara! Hope they get prrmanenly dunked to never benefit from all their illicit and criminal monies and enterprise again.

These people can only birth a criminal, terrorist and drug running country not a sane one. This is another vindication of the leadership and foresight of Nigerian leaders who defeated Biafra and our gallant soldiers! Otherwise today, Nigeria will be like a country having Mexico, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, ISIS, Syria, Pakistan all as neighbours at the same time! What a nightmare! The U.S. only has Mexico to deal with with drugs and what a massive drain on their lives. The Middle East never seem to have peace win terrorist criminals and boastful arrogant folks like Iran and North Korea! Nigeria really dodged a bullet and must do well to keep this lunatic fringe of destroyers on a leash because their destiny apparently is to destroy themselves and any people of country that will have anything to do with them!! No longer the best Ibos either were born and lived in Yorubaland, North of abroad!

If the contract was truly approved for N78 M, and if that is truly inflated, then that is just wrong and I hope the right agencies get to it. However, if all due process was followed, then Fashola cannot do anything about it really. He is not the house of assembly that approves the budget. Is 78 M too much? Well, the scope of work would be needed to determine that. However, I know developers who could make up to about N 30 M per year. Of course this is not in Nigeria.

Ibos are wasting their time and inviting destruction to the progress they have made. No advanced country of serious country will support that a part of the country break away like is currently happening through a war, they will neither fight on your behalf nor pay for it nor pickup the Ibo refugees! Nigeria's immediate neighbours are the most impacted and neither Cameroun nor Benin Republic have a problem with Nigeria, they will not use their resources to take care of a people who have it better in life in every way currently! The world struggled to cope with the killings in Biafra in 67 - 70, imagine what it would be now when all Nigeria needs to do is to destroy anywhere with high populations and they could be beating the 3 M dead in 67 - 70 in 6 months or less! Imagine a napalm bomb attack on Onitsha market or markets in Abia? Imagine an attack on the millions of Ibos who live outside of iboland, who will protect them? The army and Nigerian Forces will be way too busy to have the time to care about an unfortunate Ibo in any part of Nigeria who has been attacked.

Is this what Ibos want? Do you have enough weapons and money to buy the weapons? Unlike 67, all borders are controlled by Nigeria, how will you bring in weapons? How will you ship in armoured tanks, fighter jets and heavy ordinance? How about food, one of th major reasons Biafra lost an entire generation of children and women? Note, Nigeria will neither feed you for free, pay nor let you be fed by vegetables, grain or meat that originates from the tightest corner of the country. You will not be able to import it too as not even a fly with destination Biafra will be allowed in Nigerian airspace!

What is your offensive plan or do you plan to play defense from the beginning to the end? Biafra's offensive capabilities will be severely limited if any! Attacking any immediate Nigerian state will turn even neutral citizens of those localities around you to ferocious enemies who will rat you out, provide unmatched forward deployed attack bases for NA from every side and you can imagine several parallel pincer movements that will tear the already small iboland to pieces within a short period of time, the borders closed, nothing gets out and only death comes into Biafra daily!

Unlike 1970, Biafra will not be allowed to surrender! Imagine that disaster, the very same reason WW2 was so destructive and killed so many people! Nigeria will capture and kill all Biafra secessionists, their supporters and commanders. This is a cause - effect situation and I hope you people think hard and well now and not let emotions get in the way clouding sound judgement.

Ibos will never be allowed in the SW at least regardless of the outcome of the war ever again! Nigeria will not allow Ibos have any minor stake in the affairs of Nigeria ever again, Ibos shall be a conquered people in practice and reality. This is regardless of the outcome of the war as you will be vanquished to the hilt! I have heard some Ibos talk about dual citizenship / residency with Nigeria; it is stoopid talk that will never happen! A war is easier to start, but cannot be stopped until millions are dead, billions of naira properties are destroyed, yet the losers (Ibos) shall be a conquered people only short of being put in physical chains. Nnamdi Kalu lives and enjoys the life of London while goading you to your own destruction! His children do not live in Biafra! Ojukwu a man that supposedly had at least 1 full day of military training failed terribly, what will Kanu that lives hundreds of KM away do better? Ibos have got self a destruction death wish and except they beat a retreat back to their senses, they are about to be whooped back to before the Stone Age or before they ever existed!!

The killings of the stoopid biafrans in 1967 - 1970, or at any other time is hardly a mistake seeing these urchins are less than animals. They invite destruction to their own land and heads and cry out? The next war will be exceedingly brutal and I don't see Nigeria letting up until the entire iboland is completely annihilated! You want death by force? You will get it sooner than later and no one will bat an eye, no one will shed a tear! For years, you've been at it, you've neither cautioned yourself nor listened to the opinions of any other. So shall it be when you get your comeuppance! I just wish all the loud mouthed Ibos will be in Iboland to put their father's name and their miserable chest-beating to the test!

Like the experience of some of the main actors of WW2, they need to be whooped so badly, so inhumanly, the streets of Iboland will not stop flowing with Ibo casualties for a 1,000 years!

The Biafra question is feeding off the narrowness or should I say the smallness of the Nigerian politics

Why does it have to be a choice between the status quo or outright separation?

Why is there nothing in-between

What of devolution or true federalism? Why are they not on the front burner?

Let the inbos go to biafra, in their 5 states alone, and we are cool! All their property and kins in the SW, North or SS must be expunged by force or summarily executed if they refuse to leave! Then, ibos must be forced to live in their buhafra and no biafra planes will fly in Nigeria's airspace! We would dig a tunnel from PH straight to alaibo and put your shuttle service inside so we are sure you will not escape into Nigeria!

You either being coy or stoopid! How can you bilateral ties with the same country you'd kill yourselves to leave so that you can own land? I wish Biafra and Ibos would leave this minute but it must be leaving forever and not looking back! Carry all your properties away from SW and other parts of Nigeria and note you can only go h your five states, not a square cm more! If anybody anywhere else feels he is Ibo, he will relocate to join you there! Why don't all ibos in all corners of Nigeria starting from the SW return to biafra so that the sovereign country of boafra can be declared? I am sure all corners of Nigeria will welcome that, without even 1 drop of bloodshed! I mean, ibos willingly withdrawing from Nigeria and into their small land in alaibo, I can bet Nigeria will be better for it! We will not even need to waste our precious bullets on these set of creatures! Of course, biafra must be biafra without trying to steal one square cm of Nigeria including all the SS, Edo, Kogi, etc or the oil of the country!

If they try it, or if they attempt to steal the resources or land of Nigeria, then I support complete leveling of every mound of earth in iboland with atomic grade weapons! Nigeria will not even put 1 boot on the ground until the whole land is deleted of every moving or non-moving object!
