Hubby got his Brp letter this morning before he got to Tls..passport also picked up, vignette seating nicely on it. God is good. Please dependant applying after the main applicant is in uk, attach all evidences of money spent from your main applicant POF as you are submitting your application do not wait for NSF,because Some of the ECO might not ask and just deny if he or she notices the POF is not complete. Just a gentle reminder.

Incorrect, there will always be an NSF before refusal.
The ECO will not outrightly deny a Dependant visa. They will request for the statement with specific dates that matches the MA and Dependant's application

In most cases the people that recycled funds will not be able to provide that statement and will CHOP their refusal quickly

In this case it is better to wait and not confuse the ECO with documents not relevant to the dependant for now unless requested for, then they can provide it.

For an MA that has been here for months, I am not expecting a full statement for POF, there should be more invoices to show he has used funds for his maintenances.

Most people that had a refusal for recycling funds never ever say the full story. The ECO has guidance documents to work with

My dear it happens, don't say incorrect I know who it happens to, he did not get any NSF to request for updated statement and the main applicant has the school fees receipt, house rent and other expenses receipt handy waiting for the ECO to ask but instead the dependant was slammed with refusal without asking for explanation. So never say never so ECO does not ask. And before you say it's a lie,it happens to my cousin's dependant. The only option for him now is to reapply and submit all the evidences they failed to attach to his application before. Better still dependant should use his or her own account instead of using main applicant account.

the author mentioned Lagos airport specifically and knowing what airport officials do here was what brought about my comment.

Actually the Op mentioned POE and not Lagos,so just admit you were wrong and move on and if you don't want to agree go back and check the initial post that brought in this argument and see the poster said POE and not Lagos

Refusals declared: 2 UK visitors, 1 Belgium visit. I have a valid 6 months visitor visa (expires next January).

I picked up this morning. MA's visas already approved earlier -we didn't apply at thesame time. She applied from another country but we are travelling together from Nigeria.

Thank you all for your help. This forum really helped me in a number of ways and I am grateful. I wish everyone waiting for decision or planning to apply ALL THE VERY BEST!

I wish you had asked questions before requesting reference letter from your company.

TLS have nothing to do with accessing and approving your visa, they are a 3rd party company, so you don't have any busy addressing your letter to them regardless of what location the TLS is

Can you get the appropriate letter address to the British High Commission? Here's a link to the page for a full address

You can but you will lose from the conversion - You bought USD at N618 and convert back to Naira at N419 (or thereabout)

He or she will get around 608 to 609,and barter even sent a message that their dollar card will not be available for some time from Sunday,so anyone that has money in their dollar card it will be automatically withdrawn into their nairacard,it will still be around that amount I mentioned above or more sef
Note:am giving the amount I did mine just yesterday

It’s been a long and bumpy journey but God has been good to me.
Applied for a visiting visa and got denied in October 2021 for lack of evidence of sources of funds and travel history.
Started the student visa process immediately with hopes of japa-ing in January.
I’m a third class holder and didn’t want premasters because of the funds involved so I started applying to different schools, Coventry was the first to give me admission but the fees was just too high. Oxford Brooke’s followed with Birmingham city uni and I chose Oxford Brooke’s because it was direct masters for management in health and social care with 13,900 tuition fees. Paid the tuition deposit and then they refused me cas because I declared my previous visa refusal to their Isat, they said they were afraid I will get another refusal. I was so devastated cos at the them they did this, I had already missed Coventry’s deadline(Dec 18th). I already had my tb test result and had to start all over applying to schools and looking for Jan start. I eventually got University of west London and sunderland the same time. Sunderland also refused me cas because of my previous visa refusal. I had to go UWL even with the 10k deposit required. Did their precas interview and passed but they too denied me cas because of my previous visa refusal! At this point I didn’t know what to do again, time was going, pof was ready and only cas remained. I now sent them a very lengthy mail explaining myself and situation that moved them and they offered me a deferment instead to June as I wasn’t going to be able to make January start when they responded. They gave me a new offer and issued my cas on the 9th of April.
Biometrics was on the 11th of April
1st paid mail 11th of may, no decision made
Got slammed with NSF mail requesting nothing on the 13th of May
Second paid mail 17th of May no decision
Third paid mail 24th of may, decision made
Application transferred to VAC on the 26th of May
Collection mail same 26th
Picked up today
Tls-VI
Documents submitted: cas, pof, waec certificate, passport data page and bsc certificate(self service).
5years study gap.

Your CV should be fine

If additional documents are requested for, then you can provide your business registration documents

Being a newly registered business shouldn't be an issue for student visa,it might be for visit visa though.

To be safe, anyone with a gap should just prepare relevant documents on standby just incase it is requested for

I have been out of job since 2018 been doing business but not registered...I submitted CV to get my unconditional offer on my CV from 2018 till present its self employed, so the school asked me what I was doing as a self employed and I told them that was when they issued my unconditional offer..Please my question is will only my CV be enough or is it advisable I register my business now before I submit my application? Won't newly registered business raise a red flag? God bless you as I await your response

Flywire,you can do bank transfer or use debit card but the debit card ish will not be possible with naira card
