Many, who may have attended a wedding or two, probably believe that marriage vows must have come from the Bible, given the notion of bride and groom resembling the eternal bride and groom (the church and Jesus, respectively).

Most of us are guilty of this already. During our early days when we were much younger and innocent about sex and relationships.

Someone once told me that one of the reasons for

Pls kindly accept this as my humble opinion. Feel free to point out the flaws in this piece.

With reference to the above link, I will like to suggest... when we finally decide on the one we will like to marry, try to carry out personal investigations, you can call it due-diligence if you like... but my point here is, above the feelings and attraction we may have for that person, there are even more important things we have to consider.

The relationship has to be good, between the one you want to marry and his/her family. Chances are, if you eventually against all odds, decide to marry someone who does not relate well with his/her family then it will take the grace of something extraordinary to make that marriage work.

Sometimes when your partner is not in good relationship terms with their family, it's a big red flag.
