Its not even about tribe but geo political zones guess that the speaker will come from SS or SE.
APC won't win any Senatorial seat in SE and SS, The Speaker of the Senate can't come from that zone.

If your people keep on dying of disease and starvation
The power is nothing
If your people have no peace (no peace)

If your people cannot live in unity (eh)

See, why you make all this people to dey fight one another

Remind her also that successful men like Prof. Wole Soyinka made a 3rd Class. It's not about the '3rd' in the 'class' but the resolute determination to make it in life that counts.
Soyinka never came out with a Third class.

Crime › Re: Nigerian Woman Gangraped In Delhi Indian by Madeu(m): 4:05am On Feb 21, 2015
Reddit:
As someone rightly said India has a deep rooted social issues. I was in India recently for 3 months on an official assignment and what I saw with my eyes were unbelievable. I have travel through out my life and had so many experiences but my experience in India chewed the biscuit.
I just feel pity and empathy for ladies over there most especially this Nigerian lady in particular. The system is so bleeped that when serious issue like this is reported the authority just treat it in disdain. That is why their ladies rather commit suicide than reporting to the authority.
Ladies in India are treated like trash, they've been so relegated to the background to the extent that they're made to believe and accept men as higher and superior being than them.
Dating is a taboo in India little wonder you hear of these social vices on a daily basis. Ladies are not allow to go out with a guy, any lady seen with a guy is treated with disdain, suffers humiliation and harassment. The married ladies are meant to treat their husband as gods, like they're always right.
The men are like zombies, very lazy, ignorant, stupid and so feeble minded. They don't know what hustling is all about, they live with their parents until they're married off. They system has made them to practice all sort of evils from rape to homosexuality.
It is true that in India parents have to choose and decide who their wards get married to. The young men and ladies don't have a say on who they married, really obscene.
I had so many nasty experiences there that made me to think if these people are really from a different planet. There was a case where a man went to visit a widow and he was killed by some hoodlums in the community for reason being that he shouldn't be visiting her. I was like what the Bleep.....
The poverty and literacy level in India gave me more hope for Nigeria, that truly we're blessed. I saw men moving on the street tying short wrapper and when I asked out of curiosity, I was told it's their national style of dressing. OK.
I met with some of our African folks and their narratives weren't pleasant at all. They're all waiting and eager to leave.

Well as the saying goes “If you reject the food, ignore the customs, fear the religion and avoid the people, you might better stay at home.” – James Michener
As a traveler, I always tend to take something positive everywhere I go. On my short stay in India, one remarkable thing that amazed me was the fact that amidst the poverty level in India, they have strong institutions, power sector, manufacturing and agriculture are all working. No power failure at all, food are cheap, and ofcourse they have some of the best delicacies in the world.

I will use this opportunity to advise anyone not to consider India as a tourist or greener pasture destination, even studying their is not pleasant at all, they're not friendly people.

God bless Nigeria my country.
India has a population of over a Billion people.

A country of sure, cannot be devoid of its own social menace.

At bold, that's a wrong perception.

Bliss4Lyfe:
Yoruba get married at 25 to their first wife, then by 35 they get married to their second wife and at 45 the third wife and then by 55 to the forth wife.

Igbos might get married in his early to mid thirties (30-33) but to a definite and final partner to raise a family and have children. Plus, they usually have a stable income by that age.

Mind you those with stable income get married much earlier(20s) to a final and definite wife. It is all about the financial stability to maintain their wife and children.
Delusion: False belief.

Driven:
I don't get this thing you guys are saying about Igbo men not allowing their wives to hawk. I've spent 2years of my life in Enugu, and I see female indigenes hawking, just as you would see in other places. The married women I saw and heard hawking and shouting ''okpa di'oku'', ''hot okpa'' everywhere, were they a figment of my imagination or what? how about the children of Igbo origin I saw playing with dirty clothes...

The morale of my 'story' is, there is poverty and hussling everywhere! Igbo or no Igbo. so, stop trying to impute it on other tribes alone, it's so not necessary. More so, it is a deliberate misrepresentation of the true state of affairs.

Thank you.
Just because other tribes does not have huge presence in Igboland, these Igbo folks here on Nairaland try to paint Igboland and its people there as if they live in an highly developed environment.

Some times, I wonder is it not the same place I stayed for many years, not just in one location, even to the hinterland.

Obama, Romney, Lizard, Hilary or whoever get to power will always tow the line of the ruling elite. If They wanted Romney he would have won. From what i heard thou, Romney might be rich and connected but he is an outsider.
