DECLAN2015: A lot of delusional people Jonathan is even better than obi He just a downgraded version of Jonathan Jonathan fair better than Obi. If anyone that should be taking about a production based economy it should not come from Mr. Obi. An Ex bank CEO was the major importer of common products that were supposed to be manufactured in Nigeria. As a bank CEO, Obi should tell us how he supported the manufacturing industry with soft loans and grants. |

Talk is cheap, and easy to talk a lot of nonsense. Imagine giving University that huge amount of money. What about poly, basic education( which is important)?
Imagine Fidelity bank workers forming a Union and telling Obi, the CEO, they need to be paid 3 million per month. This same Obi won't answer their request. |
Politics › Re: Gunmen Attack Ifeanyi Ubah's Convoy In Anambra (Graphic Pictures) by Madeu(m): 9:45pm On Sep 11, 2022 |
Obi was not smart enough. Rather than creating a futuristic Master plan, he was busy saving money that didn't impact the people. Now his people can't sleep with their two eyes closed. Compare the state he governed and that which Tinubu governed in terms of security, foreign direct investment, and migration for greener pastures. The question that keeps brotherig me; is what he has to offer at the national level? Another Buhari-like disaster looming if he eventually wins( not possible). |

oluwaseyi0: you can't just do without loving Lagos
firstly all 3 Lagos universities are not part of the strike
secondly, Lagos is already thinking of ways to avert a future strike by looking for a sustainable financing model,
watch out, if this work out other state government and even federal government will copy this idea That's the Yoruba ingenuity and innovative thought process coming in the fore. Nigeria is in a precarious situation; it's expected that another Yoruba ingenuity should be at the Federal level to solve problems. What we are seeing now, it's marketers trying to sell a bad product. Buy it at your risk. |

Dead country FG only approved. It's solely a Public-private partnership. The question you should ask is, what are the governor and people of the state above doing that they are not attracting Private investors? |

Difference between Yoruba man economic acumen and a Fulani economic acumen. Obasanjo started ECA and grew it to robust amount for future generations to have something to rely on. But a typical Muslim and a Fulani don't care about the future. We are doomed. We need another Yoruba economic understanding to come in 2023 |

COMPAQ: Nigerians are academically smart, but unfortunately it doesn't result in capacity to get things done.
If you bring these people to nigeriabto head small organisation I won't be surprised they will struggle to do so.
Success in organisations is beyond just having a big degree. Its more of leadership skills, problem solving skills, organisational skills, creativity and innovation and that is where Nigerians struggle because our pre university education doesn't prepare us for that.
i was recently at a hugh school graduation in Houston and come and see speeches given by 17year old! It will be difficult to find even a first class graduate in Nigeria to stand on a stage, face 1000 parents and deliver a sensible, rousing, thought provoking speech. You made a beautiful remark and ended up with a dumb assertion. Being eloquent doesn't imply having a higher mental function. Einstein, Elon Musk, and even Tesla, and great introverts are known to have poor ability to make free-flowing speeches to arouse the crowd. |

Well, it's not bad to have an ambition. The most important thing it shouldn't be an exercise in futility. |

Vote buying will be in foreign currencies. El Classico match. It's not about money. Tinubu has loyalist at national level( ministers, VP, head of government paratatals and APC NWC, some state governor , senators and house of rep members in SW and other zones. There has been a clamour for an igbo president. SS igbos are seen as softer igbos that can be controlled. Hence lots of appointments favours them. |

safarigirl: Tinubu cannot take the seat, because Tinubu is clueless as regards economy
What he knows how to do is make more money for his family to eat and haemorrhage the economy to fuel his supporters club. He is not knowledgeable in economics and I cannot recommend such a person.
He is one of those being bandied about on the altar of regional politics.
I am not even totally against regional politics, but for the love of God, can these regions not find more capable hands than these clowns they are touting?
We are experiencing economic suicide in this country currently, and these parties are just out here sourcing for power. They do not care that the economy is in shambles, they are not sending out their best hands for the good of the country, they are only looking at who is most likely to get them power and it is so disappointing that some of us are stuck in Nigeria with such idiots.
This country is on life support, and we are casually discussing politics as if we are not living in a nation where the power situation is woeful, fuel is increasing and people cannot even afford one decent meal.
I am incensed Just look at what you just said. The hatred towards yoruba man success led you to type this crap. It's shocking to posit that Tinubu is clueless about economy. Help yourself to read about the investment and organisation structure Tinubu did when he was Lagos state governor. The Atiku lots are calling doesn't have any executive work experience. Just an ordinary custom chief and a ceremonial Vice president |

He runs his business like a workaholic. All I see is cheap blackmail against the company's founder.
Go and found your own startup. Its as simple as that. I gave you a like. Start-up that is very volatile in Nigeria. Within a flash, you're off. Couple with pressure from investors. |

The rest are Trash... This even the one i don't support. Nigerian women don't marry out of love or respect nor dignity for the institution called marriage. They marry the man that has money. Considering the current state of our country with the poverty level rising, Nigerian citizenship can be bought for less than 3000usd( about NGN1.6 mill). We are less than 65 years post colonial era, it's unwise men of another race or country should start to control and manage out affairs. |
