AuthorRobert Greene LanguageEnglish SubjectStrategy, Self-help, Philosophy GenreNon-fiction PublisherViking Publication date2012 Pages352 Preceded byThe 50th Law Mastery(2012) is the fifth book by American authorRobert Greene. The book examines the lives of great historical figures—such as Charles Darwin,Mozart, and Henry Ford—and contemporary leaders—such as Paul Grahamand Freddie Roach—and distills the traits and universal ingredients that made them masters. Origins The book originated from a realization that Greene had in 2007.In writing and researching his first four books (includingThe 48 Laws of Power), Greene concluded that all the people he studied and wrote about—no matter their field, culture, or moment in history—followed the same pathway topower. After finishing his fourth book,The 50th Law, Greene began to examine this concept in depth and decided that it would be the focus of his next book. Synopsis Masteryexplains how to become a leader in any given field by examining the lives and pathways to success of historical masters such as Mozart, Einstein and Darwin, as well as "living masters" which Greene interviewed—including Paul Graham, Freddie Roach,Santiago Calatrava,Temple Grandin,Yoky Matsuoka,V.S. Ramachandran,Teresita Fernandez,Cesar Rodriguez, andDaniel Everett. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mastery_(book) QUOTE Think of it this way: There are two kinds of failure. The first comes from never trying out your ideas because you are afraid, or because you are waiting for the perfect time. This kind of failure you can never learn from, and such timidity will destroy you. The second kind comes from a bold and venturesome spirit. If you fail in this way, the hit that you take to your reputation is greatly outweighed by what you learn. Repeated failure will toughen your spirit and show you with absolute clarity how things must be done. Robert Greene Any person that get me a job, will get this book FOC.

Even in u.k and u.s schools it impossible, talk more of nigeria. You might think about exercise physiology, not MSC in physiotherapy. You can't even do your MSC in hematology in Nigeria. |
lirerih: For Occupational Health, yes there is. IPS UNIPORT has an MSc Program in Occupational Health and Safety and graduates of physiology can apply for it. I made inquiry sometime ago and got that response from them.Heard Federal University of technology Owerri(FUTO) also offer program in Occupational Health and Safety. |
utumunta: The 1st and 3rd richest black persons are Nigerians, yet the only time we hear from them are during emergencies, political party/presidential library donations and other half-hearted donations. What happened to 'giving back to the society that made them?'.Adenuga and Dangote are not entitle to give back to the society. After all they hustled well. |
Niel baba: My question s dis. How far is ilorinn to yippata2 hours. At most 3hours. |
Don't get too excited. Kwara state does not pay corpers. Only some local govt that pays #2000. Although the state is peace for now. At yikpata u will experience a lot of unbearable living condition. No toilet, so passing out of your waste product will be in the bush. Go with an mtn line, cos another network does not work there. You charge at mammy market. Don't think for sending messages on facebook, bbm, or whatsapp about current activities on camp. Enjoy your stay at yikpata. N.B kaiama local govt and baruten local govt that where corpers dread to go. |
for some reason, couldnt find the relevant ABU page. will check again when i have some time. cant remember how i found the info.
u don try. |
^explain? i think with a first degree, you'd get into direct entry level medicine. or is it the rigours of med school that you're referring to?
we had the same experience during pre-clinical stage. Getting a DE to clinical stage thats what NUC ought to look into. Also it should be unified. Or what our senior lecturer once told us that, the first time they were trying to make basic medical science courses in nigeria i.e anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology as a first degree program, pathology council didnt accept pathology should be offered at graduate level rather it should be done at post-graduate level. Is either BMS should be an entry level to study medicine and surgery straight to clinicals or BMS should be done at post-grad level,or they should improve on the curriculum(cos uni of pretoria SA added biotechnology, genetics among the courses therefore under the dept of biotechnology). We need to start addressing it fast, not just among our self but taking it to the street (so that their won't be flood of BMS graduate not using what they learnt in sch and doing other things, cos there is dearth in nigeria health sector). even when we were in our final level, most of us didnt ve any idea abt job opportunity with a degree in anatomy or physiology, all we knew was that, its either u go for a post-grad courses in the same field and pray for a private uni to give an employment as an assistant lecturer(most fed uni dnt) or work in any research establish(u knw that nigeria medical reseacrh is either zero or nothing to talk abt), |
true, it would probably be hard getting a non-teaching job in the field, and most graduates would probably need further studies, but i think medicine would also be a good option.
easier said. Don't u think we nt consider it? |
Physiology society of nigeria, will be having their annual meeting at ibadan, by august 2012. Its so painful after cracking your brain, you graduated with a bsc in physiology or anatomy, you can't see good work with your bsc. What is left for you is to either go for msc(and hope you get a private university to work), or mbbs, or you go to other sector(after 4 or 5 years of severe studying) for work. |
How can somebody represent is country in any event? |

DEAD herring in the moonlight is beautiful because it gleams like silver, evil because it stinks in the decay of death. The herring in question has now made itself invisible and generally imperceptible by donning the masquerade of a beautiful bride called ‘E-Banking’ (electronic banking), and has now arrived in Nigeria. One does not need to be a banker or an economist to understand that the world has now entered the final furlong towards the establishment of a cashless economy. But such an end development cannot materialise on a global scale without the creation of a monetary system that caters for the use of just one currency as a survival process. No marks for guessing which currency will be adopted: the euro – uniquely enjoying as it does the sovereign patronage of 16 European nations. This would also amount to a subtle declaration of ‘Aryan’ (European/Caucasian) supremacy over all the other races of the world. Just recently China was successfully lobbied by the EU into advocating the creation of a global super-currency to replace the ailing Dollar, stopping just short of actual pronouncement of the obvious proposed alternative. A 1987 report, Unfinished Bumeans in effect a New World Order that will jettison the democratic culture as we know it. It would mean the end of healthy competition (assuming it was ever healthy at all), the end of multi-party politics and the entire electoral system, with a central global authority whose policies will be incontrovertible – in the spirit of a true Global Village. Pat Robertson, a well-known American TV journalist, discloses that the New World Order “will be the most hideous example of dictatorial power that the world has ever known.” While it is clear that global peace will be the motive behind this totalitarian dictatorship, it is even clearer that such an ambition will remain a distinct dream without an official endorsement of sin as a natural way of life in the affairs of men. Vatican priest Father Don Stefan Gobbi lamented the existence of just such a scenario. “… Today theoretical and practical atheism, diffused on a world-wide scale, has constructed a new atheistic and materialistic civilization, bringing about a general justification of sin, which is no longer looked upon as a moral evil, but extolled through the media of social communication as a positive value and a good. Thus there is spread about the general practice of living in sin, of no longer confessing it…” Such a sin-loving utopia as visualised can only become a reality in the wake of a hydra-headed peak from the ongoing disasters being currently visited on the globe, leaving a beleaguered world public anxious for the emergence of some towering hero with grandiose ideas for radical peaceful change. With this end in mind, the Middle East – with specific reference to Israel and the Palestinian question – is the area to watch with regard to the timing of this imminent change. As far back as 4,000 years ago Jacob, a revered Jewish sage with a flair for prophetic teachings, predicted the second mounting on to Israel’s leadership saddle by hard-line right-wing politician Benjamin Netanyahu: “Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.” And sure enough, on the March 31, 2009, Benjamin Netanyahu was sworn in as Israel’s new Prime Minister after his first outing two decades ago! It is easy to draw an inference that while Israel’s military spanking will tame Arab aggression against the Jewish state once and for all, it will throw most of the world into bloody mayhem. From the ashes a New World Order is expected to be forged. In 1991 American researcher Peter Lalonde described the proposed utopia in these terms, “One powerful world government will rule over various regional groupings and allianc |
