I didn't see the crying bit, wish I did. There was a time that appearing/playing at the World Cup was a thing of great honour and achievement for a footballer. We obviously may never know how much this means to him,

come one North Korea, lets embarrass these brazillian bbastards.

I just cant stand brazillians; the world is tired of seeing their @sses win everytime
its time for something new
Come on, be fair, these Brazilians can play. From the first minute they impressed me with their quality of play, and reminded me a lot of a certain Nigerian national team at their peak. It's just a shame the NKO's are given them to "space" to grace us with one or two great Brazilian goals. But you may be right, it's high time they don't get their own way like they always do. Unbeaten in the last 26 matches. Huh!
SportsRe: World Cup 2010: Brazil Vs North Korea [ 2 - 1] On 15th June 2010 by maedan(f): 8:16pm On Jun 15, 2010
These NKOs don't stay down - no matter the tackle, they just jump back up and keep on running. What resilience tongue. They must be driven by more than just the will to win - mayhap their very lives depend on this.

Well, half-time and the No.1 team in the world vs the No.105's score reads 0-0 grin grin grin. I've already voted "draw" and I think it'll stick, you mark my words wink cool.

Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo Speaks On T.b Joshua by maedan(f): 2:00pm On Jun 15, 2010
Wow. He has no "testimony"> that's really deep. Some of the points raised actually make sense. How, when and where was he saved, who was his pastor/ spiritual leader? Even if he was a pagan(and he claims he was born a Christian, so that's out), there must be some background somewhere. In any case one day the truth will out, as they say.

She can get an iPhone if she wants, or what ever is the most expensive phone right now on the market, all she needs is a hands-free that she'll wear while the precious phone is in a safe place, I'm sure there's some place in the house that the kids can't reach.

Ankara that is ruling the fashion industry. Ankara that is selling for hundreds of dollars now. Let us not even get into that now, we all remember Louis Vuitton right?
Lol. What has Louis V. ankara got to do with the one I'm talking about, which might have originated from the stalls of Yaba, now being showcased on the streets of London by a proud baby-backing mom?? tongue tongue.
so its no longer the act of carrying the baby on the back now but the wrapper used in carrying the baby?

wonders
Well, the wrapper is the only difference between the woman and these fashionable White mums who have sarong-ed their kids to their body, so I'm guessing that this is where the OP gets his beef. Just trying to see his own point of view. In my own sarcastic little way of course tongue.
CultureRe: African Ladies Abroad Carrying Babies On Their Back!(Dirty Clothes) by maedan(f): 12:19am On Jun 15, 2010
Guess what the OP is trying to say is that the African women do it too primitively tongue. They should "westernise" their "baby-backing" to look cool like the White women have done in those pictures. I've seen a couple of women in public walking around with their kid on their back, tied on with the odd ankara wrapper. Them just no send tongue. But it's just a case of necessity, I'm sure they don't mean to offend the OP's tender sensibilities cheesy. Lol, yeye guy.

Everyone had a pow-wow over Steve's snoring - some of them haven't had much sleep since they got in to the house. It's kinda bad enough that they may vote him out just because!!

ROTF now. . .Mario is now an official member, no more a mole - he succeeded in his "impossible" task, thanks to everyone choosing "Sunshine" as who they thought was the mole. She wasn't happy about that tongue. Looks like Sunshine is going to be the "scapegoat" in the house, the one people have to qualms about picking on. Too bad for her tongue.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother 11 Uk Final Series by maedan(f): 9:29am On Jun 14, 2010
LOL>
LMHO @ Steve "drowning them in snoozes". I think Mario has the best of it, he sleeps in his hole and doesn't have to stand for that infernal snoring grin.

Ray-Ray(Rachel) is getting on John James' nerves I think, with her attitude against Sunshine. But beautiful people always pick on the one(s) they feel are lacking in looks, just to make themselves look good. But Sunshine has a hot shape tho' shocked cool. She really rocked the Hawaiian costume. For now BB is just for passing the time, I watch it when I'm bored. It'll take the first eviction to pick things up I guess.

it depends on how a coach uses his players. Siasia used some of these boys and we held our own against these Argies. Yes, some of the players are irredemably hopeless but Lagerback himself was absolutely clueless.
OK< OK, so should we go with mikeansy and campaign for the immediate release of Lagerbrain from his duties?? grin
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother 11 Uk Final Series by maedan(f): 11:00pm On Jun 12, 2010
Gosh, Big Brother in the dresser!! Soo weak tongue. Who had that crazy idea that the might Big Bro will be talking out of a flipping set of drawers?

And why is Bee-Wannabe (Rachel tongue) trying to pick issues with Dr. Sunshine? Though Sunshine can be so annoying at times, with her "I'm studying medicine, oh look, I'm the smartest person in the house." Rachel should try not to show any negative sides to her character just yet.
SportsRe: Why Are Some Nigerians Self-haters? by maedan(f): 10:55pm On Jun 12, 2010

Lagerback's technical inefficiency cost us the game. There was simply no technical input from him. This was his first major test and his performance woeful. The selection, the formation, tactics were just horrible. The team lacked purpose, cordination, organization. There was no urgency in their play. I wonder what people see as decent in this criminal performance. One attack every 20 minutes? Lagerback has nothing to offer
Wrong tongue. The players (apart from Enyeama) have nothing to offer.
I mean even with a bad coach,a good player will always be a good player. You can "learn" yourself to win your game even with poor technical support.

U know what, I concur. Even listening to the live commentaries, I could see that the commentators were sooo happy when the Argentines scored so soon, and were making underlying remarks I found insulting. They didn't sound impartial at all though they were obviously English commentators.

Nigeria posted a good performance twice against an Argentinian team that formed the core of the one we played today. Compare how Nigeria performed against Argentina under Siasia to what you saw today and you'll see every reason to hang Lagerback upside down. Nigeria woulda performed better and possibly gotten something from this game had Amodu remained in charge and most annoyingly people are calling this a decent performance and saying they havent seen Nigeria play this good for ages.
There was a moment in the game Nigeria just gave Argentina all the room to put together passes. Wont a coach that knows his onion told his boys to close the Argies down? Lagerback did not do jack in this game
I don't get how 100% of the blame goes to the coach?? Look to the players, guys. Enyeama is a good goalkeeper. Fact. We have no stand-out player in our team. Fact. There is no Okocha, Kanu or Amokachi in this era, that can put some fear into our rivals the way Messi does for his own team.

Wow, like you all really expected Nigeria to win? Lagerbeer grin grin grin might have in your opinion, made bad choices, but even with your "dream team", this is Argentina we're talking about. A nation with Messi on its team, a team with a world-class history in football. While our boys have a looooong way to go. Everyone is saying how the end score could easily have been 5-0. We did our best abeg.
