I didn't see the crying bit, wish I did. There was a time that appearing/playing at the World Cup was a thing of great honour and achievement for a footballer. We obviously may never know how much this means to him, |
eddy1977:Come on, be fair, these Brazilians can play. From the first minute they impressed me with their quality of play, and reminded me a lot of a certain Nigerian national team at their peak. It's just a shame the NKO's are given them to "space" to grace us with one or two great Brazilian goals. But you may be right, it's high time they don't get their own way like they always do. Unbeaten in the last 26 matches. Huh! |
These NKOs don't stay down - no matter the tackle, they just jump back up and keep on running. What resilience . They must be driven by more than just the will to win - mayhap their very lives depend on this.Well, half-time and the No.1 team in the world vs the No.105's score reads 0-0 . I've already voted "draw" and I think it'll stick, you mark my words . |
@ OP, check the spelling of "Cuisine" in your blog. Nice one, by the way. |
Wow. He has no "testimony"> that's really deep. Some of the points raised actually make sense. How, when and where was he saved, who was his pastor/ spiritual leader? Even if he was a pagan(and he claims he was born a Christian, so that's out), there must be some background somewhere. In any case one day the truth will out, as they say. |
This may actually have happened . |
Hmm, didn't need the World Bank to tell me that. It's kind of obvious I should think. |
She can get an iPhone if she wants, or what ever is the most expensive phone right now on the market, all she needs is a hands-free that she'll wear while the precious phone is in a safe place, I'm sure there's some place in the house that the kids can't reach. |
ezeagu:Lol. What has Louis V. ankara got to do with the one I'm talking about, which might have originated from the stalls of Yaba, now being showcased on the streets of London by a proud baby-backing mom?? .
so its no longer the act of carrying the baby on the back now but the wrapper used in carrying the baby? wonders
Well, the wrapper is the only difference between the woman and these fashionable White mums who have sarong-ed their kids to their body, so I'm guessing that this is where the OP gets his beef. Just trying to see his own point of view. In my own sarcastic little way of course . |
Guess what the OP is trying to say is that the African women do it too primitively . They should "westernise" their "baby-backing" to look cool like the White women have done in those pictures. I've seen a couple of women in public walking around with their kid on their back, tied on with the odd ankara wrapper. Them just no send . But it's just a case of necessity, I'm sure they don't mean to offend the OP's tender sensibilities . Lol, yeye guy. |
Bohemian Rhapsody - Glee Cast version. Thumbs up, love this "remix". |
Just finished with the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Starting on The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, which I read before ages ago. Mark Twain is definitely one of my favourite authors. Keep laughing my head off and get pple staring . |
saintneo:LOL . Typical! |
Oooh-kaay. . .I guess I'll have to keep up the running commentary. . . .Just popped in to say I really really dislike Giovan. Ugh. Gossipy chimney cigarette smoker and he talks too fast! Yuck! Everyone had a pow-wow over Steve's snoring - some of them haven't had much sleep since they got in to the house. It's kinda bad enough that they may vote him out just because!! |
Over The Rainbow - Glee Cast version. See you guys next season |
ROTF now. . .Mario is now an official member, no more a mole - he succeeded in his "impossible" task, thanks to everyone choosing "Sunshine" as who they thought was the mole. She wasn't happy about that . Looks like Sunshine is going to be the "scapegoat" in the house, the one people have to qualms about picking on. Too bad for her . |
LOL> LMHO @ Steve "drowning them in snoozes". I think Mario has the best of it, he sleeps in his hole and doesn't have to stand for that infernal snoring .Ray-Ray(Rachel) is getting on John James' nerves I think, with her attitude against Sunshine. But beautiful people always pick on the one(s) they feel are lacking in looks, just to make themselves look good. But Sunshine has a hot shape tho' . She really rocked the Hawaiian costume. For now BB is just for passing the time, I watch it when I'm bored. It'll take the first eviction to pick things up I guess. |
^^I can't wait to see him in their next match.
That's funny . Neither can I . LOL. I became an English supporter by force . I'm behind the Eagles in name only . |
medjai:OK< OK, so should we go with mikeansy and campaign for the immediate release of Lagerbrain from his duties?? ![]() |
Gosh, Big Brother in the dresser!! Soo weak . Who had that crazy idea that the might Big Bro will be talking out of a flipping set of drawers? And why is Bee-Wannabe (Rachel ) trying to pick issues with Dr. Sunshine? Though Sunshine can be so annoying at times, with her "I'm studying medicine, oh look, I'm the smartest person in the house." Rachel should try not to show any negative sides to her character just yet. |
medjai:Wrong . The players (apart from Enyeama) have nothing to offer.I mean even with a bad coach,a good player will always be a good player. You can "learn" yourself to win your game even with poor technical support. |
maedan:Hey!! .No one un-scrambled my word .Anyway. Too late. The answer is Conscious . |
Do you have a crush on him? lol. I think he's so cute.
Lol, he's alright . Talks cute, too. Just saw him on TV, after the match. He was wearing some American's jersey. Blue sure looks good on him . |
^^Why wouldn't they make insulting remarks when our captain looks like a lizard with that ugly haircut.
Ouch |
buzugee:U know what, I concur. Even listening to the live commentaries, I could see that the commentators were sooo happy when the Argentines scored so soon, and were making underlying remarks I found insulting. They didn't sound impartial at all though they were obviously English commentators. |

medjai:I don't get how 100% of the blame goes to the coach?? Look to the players, guys. Enyeama is a good goalkeeper. Fact. We have no stand-out player in our team. Fact. There is no Okocha, Kanu or Amokachi in this era, that can put some fear into our rivals the way Messi does for his own team. |
semid4lyfe:Get over urself, "ore" . I was referring to the OP. Who get ur time . And what century did you spring from?? "Go to the kitchen and boutique section??" LOL> You better get with the program. |
Wow, like you all really expected Nigeria to win? Lagerbeer might have in your opinion, made bad choices, but even with your "dream team", this is Argentina we're talking about. A nation with Messi on its team, a team with a world-class history in football. While our boys have a looooong way to go. Everyone is saying how the end score could easily have been 5-0. We did our best abeg. |
deneut:That's ma'am to you . I mean what will this thread be without your fantasticious scrambles, lol. |
