RomanceRe: I Love My Girl But Her Education Is Faster Than Mine. What Can I Do? by maedan(f): 7:22pm On Jun 01, 2010
Unless, of course, you don't feel you have the potential. It seems she may not just be faster in education than you, but smarter as well. However, if I am wrong, then please try and keep on with your own studies, work your own way up. It's not how far, but how well. Many people go to school/finish before others, but may end up far behind in the career ladder.
RomanceRe: Can You Love Two Peole? by maedan(f): 7:17pm On Jun 01, 2010
You are obviously confused. Your topic says one thing, and your first post says another. You asked, can you love two people?? Now you're asking what is love. Well I think that's what your post is saying. Abeg lemme go before u confuse me too. LOL.

I'm a new persin in Nairaland, how do I meet Mama-gee, I dream about her too much, I really want to meet her.
Lol, you people should leave her alone. But truly she is actually one of NLanders I would like to meet grin. I think there's a topic like that somewhere. She's got what some folks call "spunk" - half the guys on NL have the hots for her - and half of the ladies just want to e-throttle her grin cheesy. Anyway. You might be lucky, she might swing by sooner or later.

CelebritiesRe: What Do You Think About Venus Williams' Attire In The Current French Open? by maedan(f): 10:14pm On May 28, 2010
Gosh, I am so embarrassed for her - since she can't be embarrassed for herself. Talking about wanting to "do lace" for the game - and then blabbing that she wants the "focus to be on the game". Yeah right. Her whole attire screams bad taste, she and her sister are rubbish designers and ALL their outfits have been lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed. The only reason they are allowed to get away with all this is because everyone wants to watch them make an utter fool of themselves. And also, they have the skills and the money so people can afford to overlook their eccentricities. From one sister to another though, I say they should stop drawing unwanted attention to themselves and work on their poor dress sense.

nearest:
Are people really shocked at these? Is this not better than {maybe when she isn't serving or returning a serve} what is obtainable in beaches? She is a designer and she is modeling the dress, outside the tennis court maybe in a fashion show, that dress would not generate much attention as it is now. Anyways the williams sisters are known for these kind of on court fashion show, two years ago or so it was serena's outfit that raised dusts like this
Thank goodness you said beaches, tennis is a sport, she is an athlete and she should dress appropriately for her match. It's not even nice at all, that is what is "paining" us tongue. Chai, perfect e.g. of money-miss-road. I bet you she would have looked great if she just wore the traditional white kit that has been worn for centuries tongue.

Could this be the Nigerian Twista?? smiley. Can't hear half of the lyrics though, too fast for me. He has a risk of being compared to Eedris, he needs to add some polish so that the words can still be made out when you listen carefully.

LOL @ Na im papa and mama dey write their song.  grin
Paving the way as in if he hadn't hit Rihanna and gone into a bit of an obscurity, he would still be dropping hit songs for his numerous fans who would still be feeling him as well as his music. Basically, he'd be too much in the limelight for Trey and co. to be this noticed. Was anybody really talking about Trey and his music in '05 albeit he did come out early '05 while Chris did late '05? Note that Chris was only 16 too, younger than the average R&B sensation. He "paved the way" jor though not intentionally.  tongue
Nail on the head babes, you hit the nail on the head wink. If Chris wasn't out of action, maybe Treyz wouldn't have had this much recognition because, trust me, there's not much room for more than one major male R&B star. For now Treyz is major, while Jason and co. are coming up. Chris always stood out because he's a spectacular entertainer(dancer, showman). It's such a pity he wasn't a better man.

@Maedan
Naah i don't think so Mae chances are peeps would have grown weary of Chris Brown and just want to listen to the next one at some point, i mean i was on youtube the other day searching for an old Justin Timberlake video and i just typed Justin and Justin Bieber came out i was like Whoaa!! E don bad reach that level?? One of these i'd be searching for Miles Davis and i'd probably get Miley Cyrus. . I think the comparisons are just based on the fact that they sing the same stuff. Pretty girls, relationships and all that mushy stuff. Ridin Solo is actually relationship-related
Don't be so sure. I wasn't the only Jason Derulo hater cheesy. He's trying to tell his detractors something. Not everything is about girls, ya know. Lol.

Lol too @ Justin T./Justin B. Timberlake has had his run, remember. Now it's Bieber Time. cheesy

@ topic. Nothing really. Just watching TV tongue.

I have listened to that song like 14 times today. As for Derulo and Trey Songz being a Chris Breezy imitation i don't think so for Trey cos he came out way before Breezy i do agree that Derulo be Xeroxing Breezy though especially with the dancing (The steps on that Ridin Solo video where mad ) he's ok in my books sha.

More than love - Amerie ft Loso
Oh, I never really said they were copying Breezy (at least maybe not Treyz, he was into his own long ago but I insist, the exit of Chris helped him a lot.) Anyway, the words in the "Riding Solo" song was like Jason telling us he's his own man, not a shadow of Chris. I think. Well, all Chris fans had to gravitate somewhere while he's out of action. Guys that were always in the background are now getting the chance to shine.

To me he was just like a poor man's Chris Brown. People like Jason and Trey Songz now have a decent career because Breezy is currently out of action. Or so I told myself. But with Watcha Say and Solo, I give him some respect. Right now listening to the Usher remix of Trey's "I Invented Sexx". I like the original version be'ah (better tongue grin)

Gosh, thanks for the link grin grin. Since I lurve Lil Wayne it follows that I should also like the Naija version. He is original in his own way, and someone uploaded the lyrics on the YouTube page, I looove it grin grin grin!!! Okay, now you can tell I'm easily impressed. Sometimes grin.

Lol @ "wheezy laugh" grin grin. I dunno but Lil Wayne is my favourite rapper embarassed. That said, I give respect where it's due. As for Drake, well, it's an industry and people have to eat grin grin. Let the whacks and the macks do their thing, the stage is big enough for both of them. Hehehehe (luv ya Wheezy). LOL.
Music/RadioRe: Shad- Yaa I Get It. by maedan(f): 10:40pm On May 22, 2010
Lol. Like I said, he's authentic, loud and proud is how it used to be done. Won't name names, don't want to drag out the issue, but this was the way it was done. That's why some folks frowned on rap. Nowadays it's more sweetness and light, with hooks and stuff cheesy. The cornier it is, the more money you get undecided tongue cheesy.
FoodRe: Is It Possible To Get A Decent Meal In Vi For Less Than N300? by maedan(f): 10:36pm On May 22, 2010
Must people eat out? There's something to be said about cooking your own meal, you know. But if you mean for lunch at work, then I still think there is a cheaper alternative. Packing your lunch and stuff. Remember you said you got posted, so I guess you're talking NYSC.
Music/RadioRe: Shad- Yaa I Get It. by maedan(f): 10:26pm On May 22, 2010
This is the second time someone is complaining about the noisy soundtrack. Both girls undecided grin. The music might seem loud because his voice is so cultured and even. If it was Lil Wayne now. . . . maybe it would all have matched tongue. The percussions were a bit much on the track though, but that's all.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Jose, The Special One. by maedan(f): 10:05pm On May 22, 2010
Hmmn. People always love a winner. Some folks will start saying he's god. In fact, saw one fan in the crowd holding up a painting that had Mourinho's face on the figure of Jesus Christ. So what does that say undecided?? Anyway, good job and nice finish, I hear he might be leaving the club.

Yup. I just don't like him alot though. ALL his mixtapes have been boring, one good single which I'm not going to name, nominated for a Grammy and he's dropping an album and everyone thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread. A slightly improved, less annoying version of Lil Wayne. Let's hope they find him with more iPods and extend his stay in jail to like 5 years lol. cheesy
Yessir. You know I wouldn't recommend rubbish naw. :p

I'd have said he's the best rapper alive, but I don't want anyone to break bottle on my head, so let's just say best Canadian rapper alive. lol
Yes, ofoka i fux with the real droppings. cheesy
I second you on that, first time I heard him (Successful), I was like, what's all the Drake hype about? But he has one or two good moments on his tracks cheesy. On the other hand, I'm checking out a lot of Shad's stuff on YouTube, trying to catch up, y'know. LOL. Thanks for recommending him wink.
