alum, i think is the exact opposite of kaun, potash.

Thank you o jare, I meant to say potash, can't imagine why I said alum. It's been a while since I've seen/used local ingredients for my dishes.

Over sabi, Alum is different from Kaun (Potash).
Alum is for external use. . . .the stuff they use in boarding houses to make water clean and lots of people use it as female douch.
Kaun is the one used to cook.

We-ell, all I can say is, nice try for the vid but it could have been better. I mean it all looks so contrived. Not like anyone was really having fun. Remember Sunny Nneji's Oruka vid? same concept, more fun to watch. IMO.
