CastedDude: The Nigerian Army has received a shipment of various ammunition to further enhance its operational capabilities and combat efficiency. The army took to social media to share pictures of the ammunition.
Some months ago, the Nigerian Army took delivery of different calibres of ammunition to boost the fight against terrorism and other forms of criminality across the country.
The consignment was received by Olufemi Akinjobi, the Chairman of the Ammunition Reception Committee at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
Mr Akinjobi also said the committee took delivery of spare parts for operational vehicles.
He said the ammunition received included rockets, bullets and projectiles, but declined to mention the originating country or countries they came from.
GoTV: Nobody is killing Christians. Kaduna crises broke out and alot of Nigerians irrespective of tribe and religion were unfortunately killed. Why do we Christians like to claim victims of every misfortunes? Why make it seem like Christians are the primary target? We Christians should be careful of causing religious crisis with our misguided talks.
Believe it or not, the fight was targeted at Christians!
Lekzyloaded: The 3rd Division of the Nigerian Army has reacted to a story entitled, “Soldiers allegedly kill 35 year woman in Plateau” in both on line and traditional media.
The report stated that, “A 35 years woman, Sarah Edward Nyam, was allegedly shot dead in Fwapwa Doi village of Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State on Friday night by men of the Nigerian Army”.
The Headquarters in its response issued by Kayode Ogunsaya, Colonel Deputy Director of Army Public Relations stated categorically that the report was a “deliberate falsehood and an attempt to portray the Division in bad light’.
I wish to state that contrary to the report the soldiers were in the Dura -Du district and its environs from Monday 15 October – Wednesday 17 October 2018 to provide security to the sniffer dogs deployed to assist in locating the where about of the missing retired senior officer, Major General Idris Alkali (retired) and not on Friday 19 October 2018 as reported by online and traditional media.
Please be informed that on completion of the mission, the troops and sniffer dogs returned to the barracks on Wednesday 17 October 2018. The troops did not engage anyone in fire fight because the entire district has been deserted. No soldier fired any shot. All the ammunitions were duly accounted for by the troops.
The write-up further insinuated that soldiers, “stop people from accessing their homes, bungle their shops, eating our chickens and goats, ransack our homes”. This is not also true. This Headquarters had earlier warned residents who fled their homes and business premises to go back and continue their legitimate activities to avoid their respective homes and business premises from being broken into by miscreants/ hoodlums.
The reading public is hereby advised to disregard the news story as it is the antics of the fifth columnists to prevent the Division from locating the where about of the missing retired senior officer. This Division will leave no stone unturned in order to locate the where about of the missing retired senior officer despite the antics of the fifth columnists.
Consequently, this Division wish to warn online and traditional media as well as agents of fake news and other like minded mischief makers that 3 Division will no longer tolerate publication of fake news that are injurious to the hard earned image and reputation of the Division in particular and the Nigerian Army in general.
In view of the above, you are please requested to publish this rejoinder in order to correct the erroneous impression your publication has created in the minds of the good and peace loving Nigerians. Thanks for your usual co-operation.
Lies!lies,!!and unending lies!!! You said you were there for your assignment from Monday 15th and returned to the barracks on Wednesday 17th. However, today being 21st,you are vowing that you will not leave any stone unturned in the search of the missing general. It therefore means that you are still there turning the stone upside down! See where you lied?

fabinfos: A young Muslim lady identified as Amina Hassan, has sued her dad, Alhaji Adamu Hassan for banning her from marrying her Christian boyfriend.
Amina, 20 met her suitor Christopher from the Niger Delta region last year and recently introduced him to her father who rejected the relationship.
She immediately hired a lawyer to help convince her father.
Amina and her lawyer Barrister Ado Ali appeared before a Sharia Court at Magajin Gari area of Kaduna state yesterday where her lawyer begged the court to serve as her guardian in order to allow her wedding to hold.
In his objection, Alhaji Hassan through his lawyer said the only issue he has with Christopher is that he has no regard for him.
The girl’s counsel, however, prayed the court to grant the two parties two weeks to sort things out and reach an agreement.
In his ruling the Judge Lawal Dahiru said Alhaji Hassan has every right to assess his daughter’s suitors but has no right to force anyone on her.
He thereafter adjourned the case till the 29th of October for hearing.

This is amazingly unbelievable! Nigerian cities with lowest cost of living, yet Jos can't make that list? It is now I know that the recurrent crisis in Plateau state has dealt a deadly blow on us.
Rapmoney: 5 Nigerian Cities With The Highest Level Of Indecent Dressing Among Young Ladies.
Please, before you read further, take note that the post is only concerned with indecent dressing among female folks which more rampant and conspicuous too.
1) WARRI: The Oil City, the most popular town in Delta State tops the list. It is particularly needless to turn your head to stare whenever you walk pass an indecently dressed girl in Warri! Reason: You will end up having neck ache at the end of the day because you will see countless of them on your way to wherever you are going to. This means that you may be turning your head to stare at every given minute. Why punish the poor neck God has given to you? It is very common to see young ladies in Warri on bumshorts and skimpy tops, even in public places such as banking halls and markets for korokoro afternoon oh!!! Oluwa, abeg save your pikin from temptation because I don use malu rope take tie my odolondolo!
2) BENIN-CITY: Our grand papa dem talk am say wetin happen for goat house go still happen for fowl house because dem dey live close to each other. Benin-City, capital of Edo State is the second on the list because it is almost like her 'sister' when it comes to indecent dressing among young ladies. I don't really know what to say again, maybe the spirit of Italy somewhat contributed to this phenomenon!
3) LAGOS: If the one time capital of Nigeria is not among the list, then I would rather suspend in the air. The 'hustling' mode among many Lagos girls in the quest to live big, coupled with the high rate of promiscuity among young ladies in this city are great factors and contributors to why many Lagos babes dress indecently. If they don't, how would they sell their 'wares' to potential 'customers'?
4) PORT-HARCOURT: What can I say here? From Rumuokoro to Rumuomasi, from Waterline to Eleme, it is the same story.
5) ABUJA: I believe the high level of indecent dressing among the babes here has to do with the nature of 'business' many young ladies have decided to delve into. Shameless politicians and randy pot-bellied rich ogas are strong contributors to why this city made the list.
Here in Jos, the weather takes care of this issue for us.
tomakint: 2019: PDP BoT to Meet Presidential Aspirants over Consensus Candidate

Senator Walid Jibrin
By John Shiklam in Kaduna
The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will meet with all the party’s presidential aspirants to discuss the possibility of agreeing on a consensus candidate for the 2019 elections.
Chairman of the BoT, Senator Walid Jibrin, disclosed this at a news conference in Kaduna on Wednesday.
Jibrin also insisted that those who participated in laying siege to the National Assembly on Tuesday must not be allowed to go free.
While advising the presidential aspirant of the PDP to go about their campaigns with decorum and avoid rumours that could scuttle their chances of becoming president, Walid said the BoT was making every effort to bring the aspirants together to discuss.
“Efforts are on ground by BoT to bring all the PDP presidential aspirants together to consider how best they should accept one of them to stand, realising that despite their number, only one person will emerge as a candidate during the primaries and also only one person will emerge as the President of Nigeria” he said.
Jibrin added however, that if the aspirants cannot agree on a consensus candidate, the party will have no choice than to conduct primaries.
He also stressed the need for the party to allow more room for defectors as this, according to him, “will continue to boost the ego of the party”.
“While we do this we will also consider the role played by our old and hardworking existing members who supported the party almost to the point of death.
“No decampee should be pushed away for now. We shall apply conflict management
resolution methodology to enable us remain stronger.
“We must at all cost use sacrifice. In the light of the above, PDP shall never condone campaign of columny against us by the APC as more of their members continue to decamp to PDP and… I assure them that they are all qualified but only one of them will become the President of Nigeria” he said.
He said the BoT will try its best to carry out its function by remaining the conscience of the party always.
Jibrin said: “We have men and women of honour in the BoT that will never sell their conscience ensuring that the best will come out of the presidential aspirant without fear and favour.
“I urge all organs of the party to partner with BoT in this respect. I call on all members of PDP to remain calm and resolute by remaining unshaken with the belief that PDP will take over government at the federal and states with majority of our members in National Assembly and state assemblies”.
Commenting on the siege on the National Assembly by the Department of State Security (DSS) on Tuesday, Jibrin said such undemocratic practice will not move the country forward.
He described the action of the DSS as condemnable and called for appropriate action against the perpetrators. He commended Vice President Yemi Osibanjo for taking the decision to do away with the DSS Director General and promising to investigate the incident.
Jibrin said the defection of Senate President Bukola Saraki, governors Aminu Tambuwal, Samuel Ortom, Abdulfatai Ahmed, Senator Rabiu Kwakwanso and several other members of the National Assembly to the PDP, with many more on their way out of the APC, should be seen as an act of democracy.
“They should therefore never be condemned but praise them for their boldness for taking a decision on behalf of their numerous supporters.
“The purported resignation of our Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, is also act of democracy.
“Therefore considering the recent action taken by Vice President Osibanjo, the PDP is happy to donate Akpabio to APC through him with great pleasure, as we have many PDP senators to do that job which has been upgraded to majority leader.
“On behalf of the BoT, we wish Akpabio bye-bye and safe journey advising him to learn from history, especially from those that left us and are now returning enmass.”
Frequently, I see pictures like these where little children, if left alone in the house dirty the house and their bodies with all sorts of things like paints, powders, creams, jelly etc. I blame the parents for keeping these substances within reach of the children. Don't parents think of the danger in this? What if the substance is corrosive and acidic? I pity new generation parents, a child may be engaged in dangerous play with harmful objects or substance, all they can utter is "junior stop it" without spanking junior and taking away the object from him/her.

Rest in peace!
Best swimmers are usually wary of strange waters. To be on the safe side, avoid the temptation to swim in water bodies in a town that you are a stranger to even if you can swim.

Angelanest: Some Fulanis who are currently languishing in a prison in Jos, Plateau state, have promised to change their ways and stop killing if they ever have the opportunity of coming out from jail. They made the promise during a church outreach conducted recently in the prison.
In a video footage posted by evangelist Christian Chukwuka, the leader of the Abounding Grace Foundation, the preacher warned them that if they have the intention of not changing from their evil ways, they will never come out from prison because the country can not cordone nuisance any more.
When they were asked if they know what their wives and children are doing at home, the inmates said that they don't know because of their condition which they would like to change as most of them vowed to repent and promised not to go back to the the life of crime.
