I have a quick question, can an in-law sponsor someone for schooling in Australia? If so, how does the process work? The in-law is financially capable and willing to help.
Thanks in advance for any guidance! |

Thank you 🙏🏾 MemoriesAndMe: Hundreds of universities offer Master's in Computer Science, you just have to do your research on the one you prefer and start the process. You can use tools like ChatGPT etc to learn more about each of the schools on your mind. Here are 20 universities in the US that offer master's degree in Computer Science with low tuition fees:
University of California, Santa Cruz (UC Santa Cruz)
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC)
Texas A&M University (TAMU)
University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison)
Michigan Technological University (MTU)
Purdue University (Purdue)
University of Central Florida (UCF)
University of South Florida (USF)
Florida State University (FSU)
University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin)
University of Houston (UH)
North Carolina State University (NCSU)
Colorado State University (CSU)
University of Missouri-Rolla (UMR)
University of Memphis (U of M)
University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL)
University of North Dakota (UND)
University of Wyoming (UW)
Please note that these are just a few examples, and there are many other universities in the US that offer affordable master's degrees in Computer Science. It is important to do your research and compare different programs before making a decision.
Here are some factors to consider when choosing a university:
Tuition fees: The cost of tuition will vary depending on the university and the program.
Financial aid: Many universities offer financial aid to international students, so be sure to research what is available.
Program quality: Make sure the program is accredited and has a good reputation.
Location: Consider the location of the university and whether it is a good fit for you.
Student life: Think about the kind of student life you are looking for and whether the university offers it.
I hope this helps! |

thank you for your response cc: justwise Deltapikin101: It's strange. I have a similar situation, but mine is IW. The status was "Application received" for 7weeks but the "case updated" date changed 3 times during the period. Then last week, it suddenly changed to "No status" which made me suspect they needed me to show for an interview, in which case they would send my passport back to me. But my passport has still not been released. Called them and they confirmed that my passport is still with the consulate/embassy, and said they would initiate an escalation to find out why the "No status". Still waiting for feedback. |

I tried but it was last updated on the 4th of Jan. Nothing again displays on the screen. Sent an email, no response. Tried calling, they said they don’t discuss visa issues in the phone . Deltapikin101: That's strange. You should try tracking on the ceac website. https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx It's probably issued and on it's way to you. All the best! |

my passport refused to come back after my visa was approved.
I think maybe it is because I didn't submit a passport photo after the interview..., but the VO didn't ask for any. |
