This year again we had many more applications than available places in the "Applied & Environmental Geoscience" Master program.

We are writing to inform you that you have been given a place on the WAITING LIST for the program starting in October 2019.
But to be honest we should mention that, with respect to your position on the waiting list, chances for you to get a place are small.

In order to keep the processing time for waiting list candidates at a minimum, we need to know whether you would accept a place in case selected. Please confirm this with a short reply to aeg.msc@ifg.uni-tuebingen.de until April 30.

This is a very good idea. Am in total support and I suggest the group should be created without further delay.

Meanwhile, a special thanks to one of us in Giessen, "Bitcoinomy" by NL name. After the last time he talked about someone who is coming to Giessen that needed help . I quickly contacted him as i am also heading to Giessen and trust me, this man has been so wonderful. He has supplied all the information I needed ahead of my trip. He also promised to help sort out my accomodation problem upon arriver.

Just like you have said. One will always have a safe landing and easily settle down in DE if such person is able to connect with fellow Nigerians who are willing to help over there.

So, my suggestion is that let us open groups either on WhatsApp or NL for each state like you have said so that members on this thread can always have a safe landing in DE.

If i am permitted by "bitcoinomy" i will like to recommend him as a group admin for the students in Giessen. He is such a kind hearted person with good leadership trait.

I applied MSc/PhD Molecular Biology, MSc Molecular Medicine and MSc Cardiovascular Science.

They've rejected the first 2.
No particular reason for doing so... Just the "we have lots of good applications but we can't offer you a place in this program" bullshit

this solely depends on the university ( accepting English proficiency letter) for instance when I contacted University of Trier I was specifically told to get a letter from my previous institute,..... So best bet is to contact the school you're applying to, be thorough when you ask them the question. Your origin, first degree course, future plans and all that

Just left DHL office isolo oshodi express way just beside toyota motors to send my documents..
if the documents are going to a school is N18,939 but if it is going to n individual address is N26,000.
so it is better you compile all your documents and send them once to someone in Germany to help you dispatch them to the individual schools learnt it will not be more than 1k.

Trier University winter application will be open from 1st May to 31st. You apply direct and pay 50£ before your application will be processed.
N.B Trier University does not use uni-assit for admission.
