My best advice for you is::::—- apply for a school in Germany, come to Germany (work for 1 year save money, then apply for school in the uk �� .,, move to the UK and start your life.

Make sure your docs no expire o, is a red flag already.

Your wife should go (like attend the interview first) with the baby. You would be here for them as the home tie.

You go after (probably another location) to face your own too.

Yeah, possibly getting “mixup in interview dates”, you guys should sha go separately as F1s.
To do that, start looking out appointments dates in and on time. If she can get for May/June then you get for July/August.

During the second interview, the question of ARE YOU MARRIED would/might comes up?

Ofc, YES. The problem would now be how to give convincing answer in where he/her is,:

YES! “She’s currently in The State undergoing her PhD program in so so, where she’s fully funded and carrying out research with Prof this and that”

Another possible question of, WHY ARE ALSO GOING FOR YOUR STUDY while she’s doing hers too:

You: I got a FULLY FUNDED OFFER (let them know it’s an OFFER not that you’re really ‘into it’) to study this and that under the supervision of this and that, who’s one of your research mentor during your Msc/Undergraduate or so.

Make the VO understand you guys are like a family that reaching the ‘EDUCATION zenith’ is a goal, and you’re a goal getter.

The most fun thing here is that, you guys are not going to be liability (fully funded) to them, so they won’t even think of funds.
Home ties: just play the Education role and investment; post graduate plans (if possible let them know you and your wife have a plan to lecture in same University to be the 1st couple lecturers in from your home town (lamba, lol) and co.

Getting a female VO is even advisable for the person that would go last, so that the ‘story card’ would work.

I've been writing this exam and I am just tired. Last year I spent 80k, that same last year I spent another 70k. This year somebody is telling me again to spend another 75k.

And my Friend has already written this thing since, he has already passed it. I've been begging him to give me how he did it, he refused to give it to me. And then, I just came to his room and I saw what he did.

I've even gone through the program and I'm so annoyed that he didn't share this thing with me. He was telling me that it goes for 25 thousand naira. I don't know whether I was just being stupid for not buying it for 25k. I have wasted almost 200k instead of buying something for 25k and save so much time and money.

I would have passed this IELTS since rather than wasting money here and there.

The minimum score required is 105 not 115.

If you have the funds and know you'll do better, then you may consider.

just wrote the Duolingo English test... scored 115,, the school cut off was 105.

You'll need a really strong internet source or the tests will cut out in the process of taking it. Your test area will have to be perfectly quiet and private or they won't approve the test either. I had to retake my test twice because of connectivity issues myself.

Please be aware that you can only retake the test a limited amount of times before you have to pay again for a fresh one. In my case I got two free retries.

As i said earlier, only one potential advisor replied me with something looking positive so far. I don't think i wrote any exceptional email. If am not exaggerating, i sent over 50 emails looking for supervisor in US, Canada and Aussie. Anyway, i have replied your email.

My candid advice for you is to look for schools that do not necessitate you finding potential supervisor and improve your profile by writing necessary tests.

I am also waiting for decisions to come out. All the best to us all.

What you need is to get very strong recommendation letters (not the typical ones written by most lecturers). The recommendation letters should be personal and give examples of attributes that are stated in the letter. I can send you a sample of a strong engineering recommendation letter if you need one. Additional, have a well written personal statement that clearly outlines your research interest(s). If you have any publication, it can further strengthen your application. But if you don't have any, it wouldn't harm you either. I have a friend who had a WES evaluated GPA of 3.11 and a GRE score of 294 who got admitted to the chemical engineering masters program at the University of North Dakota with full tuition waiver and a graduate research assistantship for Spring 2022 (he got his visa yesterday). Actually, I applied to schools that do not necessitate having potential supervisor/advisor before submitting applications. I only contacted potential supervisors after i submitted all my applications. However, I got one positive reply so far from this particular potential supervisor in UF out of numerous professors that I contacted. Actually, I am waiting for decisions to start rolling in.

Btw, I hope you applied/are applying to other universities also.

Yes, schooling in the US is expensive. Reason why we look out for any form of Assistantship to foot the bill. So you can take extra steps by talking to the graduate coordinator of the school about funding requirements.
