looks like I'll have to find the time to go to the bank, these IOM people just ruined my schedule for the week

fireman2: Hello guys, pls I have TB test scheduled for the 28th of July in Abuja but would want to shift it to a later date in August, can I do that on the site or get someone to swap date with me? I will advise you to stick to that date o, making booking is not an easy date or should I say getting your own preferred date may seem difficult . The test is valid for 6 months so it should serve purpose . I say it because the difficulty and stress people go through in IOM . During my own test a lot of peeps regretted no choosing an earlier date. My opinion though |

semilore12: Good day everyone, please we need a few clarifications. My sister will be applying for UK student visa but the account is in her maiden name while International passport and all other correspondence is in her married name. I was of the opinion that newspaper publication and affidavit for change of name to cover the fact that same person bears both name should suffice. However, she reached out to me to say the agent from the school in Sunderland says account name must be in her application name(married name) to get visa. Has anyone experienced this and what did you do? Please advise so we can know next step as i know it takes those banks ages to even change name on account oh (even me sef…..over 1 year that I requested for such in GTB, change of name is yet to reflect on my account) Change of name based on marriage does not take time let her present all her documents to the bank. It is only when you change your name based on other reasons that it takes time especially for males. Let her do it once and for all . 100% |

opomulero: Good Morning NL,
MY UK POE EXPERIENCE.
Journey was ok and smooth from lag to addis to heathrow.
we were all lined up observing social distancing @ heathrow at d passport control.
I was asked these question when it reaches our turn
(1) London is on lockdown why coming now? - this is the most important question n i spent several minutes explaining, she pursed briefly maybe to confirm what i said about my host on her system. cos i mentioned its bn 10years we've seen our host and and i told her ds is our 2nd visit visa d 1st expired and we dont want this to expire.
some other personal explanations follow. *one just need to be composed and truthful* (2) who are you coming to meet in london?
(3) how is dt person related to you?
(4) the job of our host?
(5) are you working in nigeria? - i just said YES
(6) asked my wife only her job in nigeria?
The POE person collected nd scan through: (1) Pasports (2) passanger locator form (3) covid result from nigeria (4) £210 receipt (5) return ticket
*cold dey ooooo Hello saw your feedback , are you confirming that it is mandatory to conduct another covid test upon arrival in the UK? Please confirm because am confused my assumption was that once you conduct a test in Nigeria you are good to go. |

Please considering the review of limits on naira debit and credit cards for international online transactions (some as low as $400 per month). What other way(s) can one use to make payment for visa fees and IHS surcharge. I will advise you get a "dollar card" , it's kinda limitless |

kwell: DMainMan I beg to differ but I think that information on that website has to do with those already in the UK. Not those with visas yet to enter. Let me know if I’m wrong. Cause the information there says something different. You are right, I checked also and it clearly applies to people already in UK with expired visas unable to travel back to their destinations. However the OP can send an email to the email address stated in the post. You will get an acknowledgment but trust it takes time. I think its advisable to send an email. |
