Amedino99: osimhen has two disallowed goals, 6 big chances missed. There is no way you can look at these stats and your conclusion is that he has been subdued by defenders.its almost as if you have not watched him during this tournament. some times when you see a post check the moniker first and don't be caught up by surprised |

Mujtahida: Nooo. I saw that clip before the match against Angola and he was not depressed. He looked overwhelmed. The clip was not made after the Angolan match.
And maidaboi is right. Our attackers are our first line of defense. That's why you see Lookman, Osimhen and Moses playing as our front three because they defend from the front in the name of attacking. JPes has said it several times and I watched a video where Iwobi said that the attackers are the first defenders.
Moses Simon in his post match upon accepting the MOTM award was asked if Osimhen is disturbed about not scoring goals and he said that Osimhen is not. That they are focused on the success of the team not on this or that individual getting goals. Thank you Osimhen also defend corners very well |

Curtisaxel17: If not for our defence's solid performances, people would have been forced to ask Victor Osimhen some very frank questions.
Some people make it look as if the SE was struggling to score goals before Osimhen came on the scene and improved our goalscoring prowess.
In reality, the reverse has been the case. Ighalo played with this same team in AFCON 2019 and won the Golden ball. Osimhen took charge and gave us only one goal in five matches plus plenty of offsides and big chances squandered. Same team o.
The only thing saving him is that our defence is pulling us to the finish line. Any day the defence stops working, Nigerians will analyze Osimhen without emotions. Oga Osimhen is one of the reasons why we don't concede much |

COOL10: You're talking as if you don't know Nigerians. If Peseiro should dare bench Osimhen, then that's tantamount to kissing his job as the Super Eagles coach goodbye. Is a Gamble he will have take which I am totally against Bench Osimhen and win = no problem Bench Osimhen and lose = Double walaha |

I never hate on players working hard to make a name in decent clubs in europe e come be player wey show a lot of promise but hv been stagnant career wise for over 8 seasons in Europe
Maybe my sun is just saying things the way they ought to be said via Nwakali career so far OK |

Omanambala: But Iwobi fan boys said he is having a fantastic game and owned the midfield against Cameroon....laugh wan tear my blokos. Pesin wey we no know whether na defender him be or midfield. Onyeka is playing defensive midfield and attacking while Iwobi hides in the field walking around like an unburied corpse. What an incompetent midfielder! Cant hold the ball for more than 5 seconds...pathetic. Someone even said he is one of our best players in the tournament.
We need a proper midfield for goodness sake Iwobi is tormenting this one like the way Nwakali is tormenting Emeka 😂😂😂 |
