charlesemeka85: Just got off the phone with Osimhen this morning. He told me that after he snatch the ball from that defender, he was fouled. If he had gone down, it would have been a straight red for the defender. But as he was about to go down, he remembered millions of Ghanaians were watching, hoping hopelessly to see Nigeria’s downfall, so he got up and put the pass on a plate for Lookman and yelled, “AKWABA, the ball na your dinner, Chop am like jollof pasta”
komekn: My remedy to deal the Cameron onslaught of physicality and long ball is to have Ekong and Bassey in defence as CB's
In the wing back roles Aina LB and Osayi RB.
Midfield Iwobi, Aribo and Onyeka, you need technical ability, creativity and invention to beat the Cameroon team.
Forwards Ademola, VO and Moses or Chukwueze but my first preference is Moses for his work rate (backtracking) and better physicality. In a 4-3-3 formation
If things don't go well you could probably go 4-4-2 take off moses and put in Moffi for two strikers up front. With Ademola crossing the ball.
yinkeys: Can someone please tell Jose Peseiro to start Terem Moffi He can bring in Osimhen at 60 mins Let another person have a go Missing too many chances will cost us the tournament Coach should try Moffi or if he doesn’t like him or they’re beefing maybe Onuachu because I don’t understand again o I don’t know the type of football we played today Samuel Osayi was below par
this may sound funny but Osimhen is one of the reasons teams find it difficult to score us
“It was a very physical match; Nigeria chose to play very low with a five-man defense to exploit counterattacks with their star striker. It was a tightly contested match. We didn’t give the impression of being able to compete physically. It was because of Nigeria’s best player ( Osimhen) that we lost”, Gasset said at the post match conference.
Marjoribanks: Osayi and Aina proved to be our weakest link in the two world cup qualifiers played! The last time Zaidu played he was instrumental to us defeating S/Leone! Bruno was one of the best players on the field in all the matches he started for us while Ebuehi was atrocious against the Saudis. I don't understand the criteria for dropping either Zaidu/Bruno (FC Porto and Boavista LBs)!
thank you base on SE I don't know why someone will want us drop any of them
2pep: As Super Eagle is the most valuable team in Africa going into this tournament, I expect nothing less than semis. Anything short of this, is a failure.
From Nairaland Southgate POV The SE are the best team in Africa
