TheMadame:"Personal items" = Commercial import. Clap for yourself. |
TheMadame:I didn't want to dignify your brash display of slow-wittedness with a response but for the sake of others who may be further drawn into your usual digressive line of thought I chose to. If your two-bit brain can absorb English comprehension, read through my posts on this thread and pinpoint where I claim to be a multi millionaire or an importer. |
Joining issues further with ye simpletons (the madam, zachie and cavaetemptor) is tantamount to reduction of oneself to a level of sub-human docility because that's where ye trio belong. You simply don't belong to my league. Once madam olofofo's Mr. Criminologist opens the shed and I get my luggage I will have no reason to cross your cursed paths. |
saintalone:Thank you. We are after our goods and people are here analysing and dissecting statements. I am only after my goods, Madam Oversabi cum Olodo should keep proving she knows the idi.ot better I don't know him and don't care to. I was only inquiring from a Customs officer on what he knew of the situation at the airport and also asked him if there was hope for a quick resolution, he gave me the information I passed on here earlier. |
TheMadame:Madam Olodo, Criminology is a branch of Law! |

Guys I've done a bit of digging and from all indications Olanrewaju is mental case who is vindictive and a hard nut to crack. He's also a lawyer by training. This reliable source informed me that he's due for transfer from the Airport by January 2015 anyway so he has nothing to lose as he will not be removed from his post as a result of this. The best way out of this snag is for the agents to accept his terms which he is claiming is in the best interest of the country. The person I spoke with is a Customs officer based in Apapa and he also said that he expects that the issue will be resolved next week. |
Olanrewaju should shut the airport forever. If he opens it, shame on him and his entire generation! How can it be well with him with all the curses being rained on his head? See the pain he has caused so many people just because he wants to flex muscle? What sort of country is this? Cant the govt. see this nonsense going on? Oil prices are dropping by the day and it is talking about raising revenue from other sources like import duties yet one imbe.cile has shut down the airport for 2wks now. By Monday it will be 4wks since my cargo arrived Nigeria. Nonsense! Sometimes I wish the military was still in charge of this country. |
Caveatemptor:@ Caveatemptor a.k.a harbinger of bad news. According to your post, is Olarewanju saying that work will not resume today? |
r231:@ r231 Thanks a lot for the info. This is indeed hope. Is work starting today (Friday) or Monday? Do they also work on Saturdays? If you don't mind, I can send you that recharge card on behalf of that other poster who made a promise. Drop your email address here or email me to matma_j@yahoo.com |
Caveatemptor:@ CaveatEmptor I have my personal items sent as cargo trapped there for 3 weeks now and this is not funny. At this point we don’t need you dampening our spirits by enlightening us on the demurrage being incurred, who owns the Press, goods being prone to theft, ego massaging etc. What we need to hear at this point is news on the so-called meetings being held. If you do not have information on this, stop being a wet blanket. As a matter of fact, what sort of meetings are these sef? Are the five families in New York meeting for a truce as a result of a Mafia war? We need our goods released and after that if Govt. wants to shut cargo operations at the International Airport, it should simply let Nigerians know. |
@ r231 Thanks for your updates. They give me hope in spite of the deep sadness this has brought upon me. |
@ r231 Aren't these goods being damaged by the rain? Is there hope for a quick resolution of the dispute? |
saintalone:Yours is just 8days. My personal items have been stuck in there for 3weeks ! |
@ r231 Thanks a lot for the update. Pls let us know what happens today. |
This nonsense is very frustrating. I came back to Nigeria 3weeks ago and my personal items I sent through cargo have been stuck there. What kind of country is this? Are the clearing agents owners of the goods trapped? This comptroller is mad. Why not firstly release goods that required customs duty has been paid for? Why is an innocent citizen like me suffering the outcome of his dispute with clearing agents? |
bigass: i bought 80000 units at 7.5 with 600k. it went down. i stayed till 0.50k i bought 2million units with 1million Naira my total shares when to 2080000units in Transcorp. i sold all at btw 1.80-1.95Naira in 2011. i got 3.8million. with 1.1million investment. i entered at back at 1.40k,bought 3million units. i am yet to sell them. Chritsmas will be good. You've got yourself a fortune then. With the privatisation of the Power sector and the company now a major player, the sky is your limit. I wish I had an inkling of what was in the offing, I would have bought at least 1million units when it was trading at 50kobo. Another missed opportunity. |
def lover: another paid agent......i didnt panic.......in trading its called stop loss......cut the loss if i should make it a lame man's way......u stop it if u cant take the loss.....so now its like hw much 1naira 50kobo abi.....how long will it take to get back to 9naira 71 kobo....sir.....Me a paid agent? I can’t stop laughing. You have no idea what I have been through. I got wiped out of millions of Naira on Oceanic Bank (peanuts given as Ecobank shares) and lost all on Bank PHB. When you invest and lose learn to take your loss and not come crying in a public forum like a baby. If Transcorp was selling for N100 today would you come and tell us how much you are worth? I never bought Transcorp anyway because I didn’t see potential from the onset, but now with the Power Sector contract, I bet there is light at the end of the tunnel. The power sector looks like the next Telecoms sector. |
def lover: na devil go soda their yansh .........from dangote to indi okereke to all of dem......dey sold us a lie....i bought 68,000 unit for 512,000 naira at 7naira 50 kobo and it was quoted at 9naira seventy-one kobo but wat happened it nose dived to 50kobo even wen i wanted out they refuse to dematerialize till i was able to get out at 1naira 40 kobo now they are pumping it again to fool people so later they will dump it....dont be fooled....one thing they have is control....you as an investor dont have control over the shares.....i am now a skilled investor and i will neva touch nigerian stocks again.....if its not online trading i wont touch itYou lack investment and entrepreneurial gutsy. You panicked and sold your Transcorp shares at N1.50k as a result of (paper) loss. Investors are not supposed to panic especially when shares go below purchase price, when you do, your loss actually crystallises. It is paper loss when you still hold your shares in view of future appreciation. This is exactly what happened in this case. Anyway, Transcorp has skyrocketed and is not even available in the market for purchase. This is a result of the Power contract they got from PHCN privatisation by the Federal Government. They have bought the Ughelli power plant and there is now huge potential for profitability for the company in the coming years. Learn from your mistakes and don't rant like a clueless toddler. |
angel TI: Lemme guess the banks......Angel TI,What's your grouse with Zenith Bank? Where you sacked there? You definitely have something against the bank for conspicuously omitting it. The top 3 banks in Nigeria remain, First Bank, Zenith and GTB. |
gabrieli: @Waleabimbola,. |
gabrieli: 1. Go to VFS with your all docs with their photocopies, U will get a tally number at the gate. |
I cry for my country. The saying "One day the poor will have nothing left to feed on but the rich" is becoming a reality in Nigeria. I do not subscribe to youths taking to crime and taking the law into their hands but reality is truly beginning to set in. I thought they said Lagos is safe? We are all worried and scared stiff. |
See what money can do! See Uduaghan 25yrs ago during his wedding, he looked like a ****** then. My guess is that he had this irrelevant lavish ceremony to befit his new status given his condition when he married 25yrs ago. This goes a long way to tell us how our politicians reason and how they set their priorities.

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11698/8459671/Transfer-news-West-Brom-have-accused-Peter-Odemwingie-of-acting-wholly-unprofessionally I don’t get it. Why is Odemwinge so eager to leave a team that has the potential of going to Europe for a team that will most likely be relegated? Maybe this botched transfer was the last opportunity for a big pay day in football for him. He's 31 now and by the time his present Albion contract runs out, he will be 33. Unfortunately for him he was born in Uzbekistan and can’t hide his real age. If he was born in Nigeria, his football age would be 25 presently. |
lol! Dream on Dreamer. A city we have not even seen. The bitter truth is that Nigeria or any other African country (save for maybe South Africa or Egypt) cannot host the Olympics in our generation. |
I knew this boy's career was finished long time ago when his once promising attack minded game was compromised by Mourhino. He is simply finished and I will be surprised if he makes the Super Eagles team. @1025 aka chidichris, this is not about the money he has made, every time Mikel is being discussed all you brag about is that he has made tons of money therefore he's better off than anyone else. This is about people's honest disappointment that Mikel didnt make it as an A-list footballer, I personally expected him to attain that height. In 2005 Mikel was compared to Messi. Today Messi is winning Ballon D'Or on a yearly basis and Mikel cant even make Chelsea's starting line up. |
Nayah:@ Nayah, cesser de francais. What is it gonna be? Or a more private communication. How about your email address? |
Nayah:Qui |
Wow don't need to blind me my brother but have we ever talked each other on NL?

Didnt meant to blind you, just wanted to be sure you got my message. Anyway, per your question; no we have'nt talked previously, as a matter of fact, you are the first person I am having a one on one with on NL. |
@ NAYAH, I'm in Paris. Any chance I get to taste your delicious African dish? Maybe too cocky, so let me be subtle; can we have a quick drink at your disposal and then we can access the possibility of me visiting to taste your African delicacy? |
