Politics / Re: How The Bini Used And Sold The Igbos As Slaves For Centuries - Reno Omokri by MAITEMA(m): 3:18pm On Jul 22, 2021
Is RENO really serious?
See Itsekiri man talking crap calling people slaves his people had in captivity. His people that have no legitimate land and defined origin. Probably migrated from Yoruba land to settle in Ijaw & Urhobo land in Warri, land that is still disputed till date.
Itsekiri's are a confused race, most are half Potoki due to the bastardizing vide impregnating of his ilk by drunk colonialists hence the preponderance of half castes in their race.

He should instead clarify how his Itsekiri hamlet are claiming Warri which belongs to Urhobo and Ijaw, and how they have cunningly turned their Olu of Itsekiri to Olu of Warri.
See who is talking! A tribe that only inhabits less than one Local Govt. area is claiming to have dominated major tribes and taken slaves.
Arrant nonsense
!!

Pls Reno, if you read this, tell us on how your people have cunningly ursurped the supposed next in line for the Olu throne to a smallie just because he is in-law to a Bini billionaire! Don't you know that he who lives in a glass house doesn't throw stones?

Celebrities / Re: Linda Ikeji: I Took Wizkid To Police In Lagos Because Of These by MAITEMA(m): 5:23am On Apr 18, 2016
Dear Linda,

I really used to admire how well you have done for yourself and the only time I ever commented on your blog was to congratulate you and say a short prayer for you when you put up the news about your house on your blog. However, I want to tell you that I have recently began to sense some pride and haughtiness in you. For example, you don't have to keep reminding us of how much you gave the bricklayer lady (this is about the third time I've read your mentioning it) you can always refer that you helped her and not mention the amount given and also how you went on and on about your handbag and it being more expensive than some peoples cars. Besides these, there are several nuances in your write ups (on your blog) and statements with obvious edge of loftiness.

I actually took time to read your explanation why you reported this case of threat-to-life by Wizkid to the police. I'm not taking sides with Wizkid but honestly see no real reason of lodging this complaint with the police because it is already on record in your blog and from his Instagram handle (which I believe you screen-grabbed as you usually do) that he threatened you so should there be any incident of violence (which I hope not) you already have evidence to indict Wizkid. Not like you expect the inept Nigerian police to make anything out of your report anyway.

What your lengthy explanation has done is give people reasons to believe you are indeed pained, and the continuous reference of sleeping with a director of his is beginning to give his supposed accusation credence. You also didn't have to link your giving a woman money because she chose to be dignified by doing hard labour to eke out a living to this accusation of your sleeping with his director because not every woman sleeps with a man for monetary or material reward, you could have slept with him for the fun of it or you could have been in a relationship.

In all, please take time to mediate and retrace your steps because you seem to be doing harm to your brand. I personally have become detached from your blog because of your recent attitude (used to be an ardent and daily visitor). There could be more of your readers that are becoming disaffectionate.

Finally, Wizkid's verbal/written threat does not necessitate the reaction and attention you have given to it, after all an artist in public limelight especially a young one like Wizkid is expected to be pained by the disgraceful news you fed us. He’s being evicted from where he lives is an obvious indication that he’s broke. I also read a follow up letter where you were supposedly clearing issues but you gave him another blow by telling us that his Porsche car was on hired purchase basis. When you slam someone whose livelihood depends on him impressing the public of his ability to afford a posh lifestyle you expect no reproach? You are the one that has landed the major blows so please do no give this matter more attention and drama than it deserves.

Politics / Re: Privatisation Of PHCN A Fraud, Electricity Workers Tell Buhari by MAITEMA(m): 9:07am On May 10, 2015
With such a vile statement coming from a former PHCN senior staff why are we still wondering who the 'ghosts' that are sabotaging gas pipelines are? I heard the Power minister say last week that "demon possessed Nigerians destroy pipelines for NO REASONS, well here's a GOOD reason; RESENTMENT FUELED SABOTAGE.

Now they want Buhari to reverse the privatization. What signals will you be sending out to foreign investors by doing so?

Politics / Re: Buhari Organization Backs Mutiny; Soldiers Are Free To Protest - Amaechi by MAITEMA(m): 5:55pm On Dec 24, 2014
Why is Amaechi still roaming the streets a free man? Shouldnt he called in by the DSS for questioning?

Now they are inciting mutiny by soldiers. When GMB becomes president does Amaechi think the mentality of the already emboldened soldiers will change?

Enough of this APC& PDP nonsense. I don’t belong to any party and won’t waste my time to queue and vote for anybody anyway. The last time I voted in 1992 it didn’t eventually count.

My advice to Nigerian youths; get on with your life. No matter who wins, don’t be used as puppets for violence, killing, maiming, bombing etc the political class doesn’t care about you. All they want is power, and they want it at any cost. I used to have some respect for Buhari as he is seen as a man of integrity but now he is condoning all because he wants power. As a military head of State, doesn’t he know the implication of Amaechi's statement?

Open your eyes Nigerians.

ZACHIE:
Not good news but it must be said since you asked for it.

Customs have decided to double the Duty benchmark hitherto paid on all shipmenst.
Before now, minimum Duty benchmark was 50,000/ shipment of less than 50kgs.
Now that it is doubled, it means you pay 100,000 for any shipment of less than 50kgs regardless of its value/cost. (I will post the intended tariff later on)

And this is beside NAHCO/SAHCOL handling charges, SON/NAFDAC for regulated items, Agency fee and documentation expenses and transportation charges.

Welcome to the changes Olanrewaju brought to the Airport.

Before now, you could arrange to do tarmac pickup for small items and parcels. But with what is coming, you cannot do that.

They may just have killed little businesses with this obnoxious increased benchmark.

Conversely, this might also mean an upsurge in the number of importers doing proper PAAR documentation.

This whole Olanrewaju episode may have been a ruse after all. Seems to me that customs' game plan has always been about doubling their Duty, which importers and clearing agents under the circumstance have seemingly been cornered into accepting and paying.

It's been an amazing time with you guys here. I'm sure this thread will remain open anyway.

Hopefully there shouldn't be a re-occurrence of such a tormenting and destabilising situation at the airport and even any other area in our dear country be it socio, political, economic etc. Our agitation was properly channelled here and on twitter by those of us that joined the twitter barrage as well. We should be proud of what we've all done (even though we can't say 100% that it was as a result of it the desired result was actualised). I implore us to use the same positive energy to fight the ills in our system.

Kudos to all (numerous to name), especially r231, Bigtt76, Mr. Mbok(Saintalone), Zachie, Caveatemptor and ZeMadame. Although we (last 3 names mentioned) had altercations somewhere along the line, it was strictly business and nothing personal. Consiglieri Tom Hagen. Lol

Cheers guys!

Hello Guys, I really dont know how it happened but one of my package just arrived about 10mins ago. It was shipped via Fedex. I was completely shocked when my receptionist told me I had a package from Fedex. I rushed downstairs to verify and I was shocked and elated to see my package! I asked the Fedex guy how they did it knowing that the sheds are still shut. He just said they had to go throw 'thick walls' to get it out...

Just to be clear, it doesnt fall in any category of the allowed items (perishables, medicines etc). the package is an electric guitar.

I pray you all expecting your packages would get them sooner than you expect because I really wasnt expecting to see mine.

I am still without you all in the struggle and wait...God bless us all!

As expected, favouritism has come into play. For those who assume that Olanrewaju and Customs might have clear and genuine intentions, what does this tell you?

TWITTER would have blown this matter out of Olanrewaju`s reach but how do we make him Trend when
Customs on Twitter seem not to be aware of all the English we have been writing here:

I was definitely talking to a conman. I have noticed that the twitter handle you gave (CustomsNG) and the one I contacted (Customsnigeria) are different.

That twitter handle is questionable. I have my doubts if it is indeed Nigerian Customs Official twitter handle. I looked up a number there and called the number listed there for the supposed Comptroller in Seme. The dude started blabbing about helping me to get my cargo out and also mentioned me coming to Seme etc.. I just thought those lines sounded familiar. He may be a con man. I'm not saying he is though. SO guys, you can look up the number on the twitter handle, bombard it with calls and see what you come up with.

Nothing meaningful to report. My shipper informed me that Cargo Airlines have suspended shipment MMIA cargo section as there's no space to drop off cargo, hopefully this development should pile more pressure.

I also thought it wise to publish a picture of the evil man here so that we can all place a face to our tormentor and channel our anger and venom appropriately.
