Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How Do You Learn A Skill? by Maj196(m): 8:07pm On Feb 10, 2020 |
stechu: Most of the time we hear people say things like "oga go and learn a skill" but still leave the poor fella with no clue on how to go about it.
Assuming now that I have money and I want to learn gas business. What ways can I go about it? Who am I going to meet in order to learn about everything involved in gas business. Will they gladly accept my offer to learn under them? What if the person is just interested in my money and have no intention of teaching me properly?
I have ones paid 50k for a graphics design program that I learnt nothing tangible from. I have paid money to learn content marketing and the person just talked jargon and left me alone in sambisa forest. I have also paid 3k to someone in order to learn piano but the guy just gave up after two classes. He didn't believe in me and he discouraged me.
I don't want this to happen again. Everything you need is online for you. Go there e.g YouTube |

Jumymy: I graduate with a First Class degree in Economics Education from a state university and i am almost through with my Nysc. I am confused about the career pacts to follow. Should i learned a lot of ict skills, then look for a good company to work for or apply to go for a master degree abroad?
Please all suggestions are welcome, thanks in anticipation for your favourable responses. Please learn ICT skills mostly programming. That's the in thing now. You will get a job in no time. As for masters you can do that anytime. Hope this helps |

PrimadonnaO: You're just in a momentary state of shock because you didn't see it coming. But be of good cheer, dear. It's nothing serious. Best believe, there are more persons with 2:2 than there are those who made first class and 2:1.
At the end of the day, what truly matters is what you make of yourself... the value you bring to the table, to an organization. Never slack on personal development. It's everything. Then pray... and be deliberate about the things you want out of life. Waoh! this is inspiring... I love this girl already |

IamSalt: And everybody have a WiFi spot like you think you can find around your area?? I am not arguing with you, I am schooling you with questions boy. Now look "Boy" I have gained important skills that's useful for me so deal with it. If you happen to have wasted your time in watching movies instead of doing such then that's on you. FYI, I don't even care about you nor the poster. |

IamSalt: Nigga, I ain't incapacitated by nada, I have all the resources I need to watch movies on YouTube endlessly and streaming online for as long as I can sit in front of a screen, but that shouldn't make me see others as having the same opportunity as I have for the moment. Don't just suggest things with high financial implications to people when you know you have nada to support them with. Awon motivational speaker. Wtf is this nigga? I subscribe #125 and get 1.2gb of data using Airtel night plan and I download as much videos as possible. So what the fvck are you telling me? If he doesn't have #100 he should look for a Wi-Fi spot. Am done arguing with your dumbass |

IamSalt: And you are the one to pay for the skills abi?? You people just say it as if it is free. N.B: his account is running on the negative side, data is not free, getting a loan is not easy either, so how do you want him to pay for the skill you want him to acquire?? FYI, I acquired digital skills online without paying a dime to anyone. Instead of wasting his data on nairaland he should go to YouTube and learn |
