buygala:
As a lawyer myself, I have never seen where the CTC of a Court document, more importantly a Judgement, will bear the imprint or mark of a party to the case.

The only explanation for this is that Tinubu's legal team applied for the Judgement CTC, got it, then electronically added their mark to the scanned copy before uploading it online, for full disclosure of the uploaded CTC's source.

If that's the case, I see nothing wrong with that..

Before Obi and Atiku's team cry blood and raise their usual false alarm, they should try getting a physical CTC of the judgment themselves, and see whether it also has that Tinubu Legal team mark.
They have it already. They are crying that why was the ones given to APC has their watermark.

All party got theirs. APC released it's own out with their imprints. Others were crying foul.

Even an illiterate load parker will never reason like LP and PDP's legal team. Maybe their way to massage their client ego for more cash. This is beyond stupidity

The Nigerian Police has today paraded Chike Ibezim for cyberstalking and defamatory statements against a former Works Minister, Babatunde Fashola.

The Police said the defamatory statements against the former Lagos State Governor, sent through the X platform (formerly twitter), was traced to the phone number of the younger Ibezim.

Fashola had sued Reportera and two others for alleging he was writing judgement on behalf of the Judges at the PEPT.

Reportera is owned by Chike's brother, Nnamdi.

Dbakre1:
Why misleading Nigerians?
According to verified reports,
After the delivery of judgment in the 3 (Three) election petitions by the Court of Appeal on September 6, 2023, the Court directed its registry to make physical copies of same available on September 7, 2023.

Accordingly, the Tinubu Presidential Legal Team applied for a certified true copy of the said judgment and paid the prescribed fee.
Lawyers for PDP were present at the registry at the same time to collect the same judgment.

In fact, the representative of the PDP collected the first copy that was made available by the registry.

On collecting our own copy, we immediately scanned and water-marked with the inscription - “Tinubu Presidential Legal Team ‘TPLT’” before circulating the scanned soft copies to the lawyers in our team.

The certified true copies issued to us and other parties in the petitions by the registry do not contain the said inscription and any insinuation to the contrary is untrue.

Counsel to the petitioners will also appreciate the fact that the insinuations being circulated in some quarters are untrue, unkind, unfair, and unfortunate, as they have the same certified copies of the judgment as we have.
Can't people be arrested and jailed for spreading false information? I think Atiku's legal team should be arrested and made to pay heavily for this. I NEVER thought Atiku could be this daft. Why is he acting stupid? Is his legal team working with Obi's? Because they are also an upgraded lunatics grin

She obviously twisted it without giving much explicit details.
Its obviously mortgage house belonging to Lauretta.
Mortgage slavery.
One major difference with normal rented house is that while you MUST not pay rent for house you are not living in, andif oweing, landlord simply comes and kicks occupants out (kick out cousins not paying in this case) out; inorder to rent to fresh person who can pay rent.

In mortgaged property, you must continue paying the monthly rent or cumulative percentage fee agreed whether you are living in it or not, whether you have been in the country for the past 8years or not so you can become 100% property owner on an agreed date in future. .

If you skip payment and cant meet up with deadlines irrespective if you living there or not; YOU WILL LOSE THE PROPERTT AND THE HOUSE BE REPOSSESSED.

So if dem nor pay rent e nor affect the cousin..Na Lauretta e affect pass. Hence why Lauretta Onochie's sister had to quickly swoop in to pay outstanding rent due to prevent Lauretta from losing the property since the greedy cousins actually living in it decided not to pay a dime.
Excellent

nairalanda1:
So you are arguing for poorer salaries for oil workers because cheap fuel?

Oga, that's cruel.
Please this is not clamouring for low wages. This is just FACT.

An average refinery employs more than 1,000 workers and they are well paid.

The base of arguement is saying price of refined product shouldn't be different between poor and rich countries.

The salary scale for poorer countries can't be used to judge the salary scale for rich countries. Just the fact.

If refinery A. In the USA employs 1,000 staffs with the least staff earning $3,000 (#2.1m) monthly. How many least staffs are paid #2.1m monthly in Nigeria?

If you want Nigerian refinery to sell products like the USA refinery, then the Nigerian refinery should also pay her least staff #2.1m. Which we know can never be possible.

So, if poorer countries are paying less then the final product should be cheap. Just as simple as that.

What has minimum wage got to do with price of PMS? A commodity that's priced internationally! Maybe you think exploration of crude oil is like drilling a borehole. Senseless things. I don't even know how you guys reason! Whether it's with your asses or brain. A country that we all agree has a revenue problem , you expect government to sell PMS to you below market price just because you are from where again? Rubbish
Thank you. I hope that settles it?
Politics › Re: With Functional Refineries, Petrol Will Sell For Less Than ₦‎200 – IPMAN by Majesty7: 3:49pm On Sep 02, 2023
nairalanda1:
Well on refining, the same argument applies...plus they have to buy crude at the international price.

Refineries cost money to maintain and upgrade. Remember that the parts and stuff are paid for in dollars. We don't have a domestic industry that can manufacture refinery components, etc.

Plus, workers at the refinery have to be paid competitive rates, or they too jakpa. That is only possible by the refinery running at a profit.

Again, life is not fair.

Also, you know you are arguing that refineries cut costs by paying workers less.
So simple. Just a simple logic. Production are way cheaper in poorer countries.

So simple. No need of long arguement. Forget parts or the rest. It's the same thing. What's is the basis of production? Land and labour takes the highest chunk.

Are you telling these 2 factors are expensive in poorer countries than rich countries? Just a bit busy today would have explained to you better
Politics › Re: With Functional Refineries, Petrol Will Sell For Less Than ₦‎200 – IPMAN by Majesty7: 12:58pm On Sep 02, 2023
nairalanda1:
The problem is the people drilling for oil are competing in a global market.

At the end, why should they sell crude at international price, and then turn around and sell some of the same crude at a reduced price? They would lose money, and then they would start cutting things like workers salaries to save cost.

Also, the equipment and everything is paid for in...dollars. The international partners they do business with are paid for in...dollars.

As someone has said here, fuel can cost N200 if crude was sold at 10 dollars per barrel. Assuming crude was sold internationally at 80 dollars, a Nigerian guy who owns an oil well would be losing 70 dollars per barrel if he sells to the local market.

That can impact on the business...leading to closures, and workers doing japa (Oil workers too japa...I even have met some).

Life is not fair sometimes.
Not really my brother.

We are not talking about exploration here. We are talking about refining.

Let me give you a realist scenery.

You own a refinery in USA and I own a refinery in Nigeria. We both acquired our crude oil at $100/barrel.

Your production (refining) cost will definitely be higher than mine due to huge worker's wages. Yes we both source our equipment at equivalent rate but this is production cost.

Your least worker wage might be well above $3,000/month and that can be my best wage for my highest worker.

Production cost is what determines a product price.

Busy... Will talk to you later

Rich or poor country, you still need a substantial amount of money to explore and exploit the crude. The currency for crude oil market is the dollar. Everything you do is priced in dollar. Now you enter into a joint venture with some multinational companies, they explore and exploit the crude, then you will now sell below cost of production! Who does that if not a fool.
Those mentioning Libya, Saudi Arabia etc, please covert N200 to their currency and see what it gives. Rubbish
The problem with you people is "reasoning". You guys hardly reason.

What determines wages? Are you comparing your nanny to a professional oil rigger? Or what is wrong with you people? #30,000 is the minimum wage and payment depends on level. I don't even know where to start argument with you. You sound too low

You people just write and talk without thinking twice. The government shouldn't subsidized crude oil. It should be the same rate.
