smart8956: Thief. What that man says is true. Do you even know the country he's staying? Most of us have criminals intentions reason many countries hate us. Why will you collect in first place if you won't payback? Is it free money? I'm disappointed to see exited comments. Relax youngman. It is a gamble. 45-60% ROI weekly is a scam. They knew what they are going into and knew definitely that they won't last. They got what they deserved. Nobody gives a legitimate loan with such a skyrocketed interest |

Salowise: If their interest rate is too high avoid them, why signing an agreement you can't keep. The last time i took loan was 2019 and i vowed never to take it again, i paid 20% interest rate for just one month. I'm not in support of them, but why take the loan, they saw the terms and conditions before proceeding So simple. A high risk business that will definitely fail. It is a gamble. Just like placing bet. They used it to entice their borrowers and sometimes they win but most of the times they lose. That is life. You can't blame the borrower nor the lender. It is all game of risk. Some pay while some lock up. Simple |

sukkot: I guess one of the fascination for me is that people looking at him in the streets would not know he was in Frankfurt Germany a few hours ago. He looked just like a regular guy in Lagos coming back from work. It’s just weird and fascinating seeing the same specimen in two totally different habitats thousands of miles apart Him boarding a commercial bus should tell you he knows his way around perfectly and he sees nothing different from home and wherever he might be coming from. Him boarding a bus doesn't mean he doesn't have fleet of cars in his garage. Also him not smiling and blushing around doesn't mean he is not happy. When you are way above so many things, you won't find it fascinating. |

sukkot: So this is a very strange story which I think about till this day.
It was October 1st 2019 and I am coming to Nigeria with Lufthansa from Manchester and the stopover is Frankfurt. And so we get to Frankfurt and we had to ride this trolley tram bus thingy to our terminal.
That’s where I saw this character. He was sat in front of me clutching a small handbag. That’s all he had On him. His eyes looked cold and dead like someone who has seen everything there is to see in life and he had checked out of humanity. He had like a long Islam goatee. Young guy, maybe early thirties. He sat there and clutched his bag and stared with that dead empty look. He wasn’t being deported. He was on a voluntary journey of his own. I watched him for a little while but then we got to the terminal and alighted and I never saw him again.
I took the flight to naija. Got the cab at the airport and started the journey to the Airbnb I had booked in magodo. It was an evening and up in the sky were stork birds and eagles and the atmosphere was dusty looking as the sun was setting. So as I was in the car on the express about 3 miles away from the airport I saw someone climbing the dividers of the express way and trying to cross over to the other side to the bus stop to catch a bus , I adjusted my eyes very well and guess who it was? It was the strange guy who sat in front of me on the tram-bus in Frankfurt. He had absolutely no luggage with him. He had just the same small bag I saw him with and he was in the same clothes
Till today I always wonder what that guys story is . Did he actually walk out voluntarily on his own out of Frankfurt with a tiny bag and walk into the streets of ojota with nothing but the same bag and dangerously crossing the expressway ? Was he remote controlled into Nigeria ? It’s a very strange episode. I think of that guy to this day You expect him to carry all the luggage in the world or he should be forming like an illiterate? People travel daily. When you are also matured in traveling, you won't see it as any big deal |

fyzaila: I am not one of them. But when you borrow something from someone isn't that a debt? and not paying debt is a sin. Yes it is a debt but in a civilized place, outrageous and unrealistic interest on loans are illegal. Therefore they are operating an illegal business. Secondly is their mode of recovery. Too barbaric. They shot themselves |

Being delisted and banned makes you a criminal if you are still involve in such operation which you were delisted from. Jail is real! |

Just keeping the receipts Tinubu is in the quest for good governance and people are protesting. You want good governance but you don't want to pay the price. SouthWest is a free state where your freedom is guaranteed. That is why you see them protesting despite Tinubu is from their region. |

mrvitalis: When u have large population of lazy and ignorant people in Lagos willing to pay good for your skills, goods and services....then the sacrifice is worth it... But would always come home when it's time to holiday That is why it is called "city". The unskilled work you do are many in your villages. In city, unskilled villagers are needed to do such menial jobs. They are not lazy but are just people who have outgrown such unskilled labour. They need people like you to do such task |

Workch: I import from onne to Aba, it's way higher than Lagos You import from Onne to Aba? What are you talking about? Do you mean you move imported goods from Onne port to Aba? What does high charges on logistics has to do with the port tariff? I use Onne very well but stopped due to reason that Onne is more stricter that Lagos. Onne too like to follow due process (that is good anyway). The tariff in Onne is even cheaper but people prefer Lagos because of contrabands and many more. Therefore, the excuse of saying port not around SE and that is why people are not moving there is all bullshit and should be stopped. If you people prefer your villages, go there and let Lagos be |
Travel › Re: I'm Based In Lagos, This Is Where I Go When I Say I'm Going To The Village. by Majesty7: 11:21am On Jul 31, 2023 |
Workch: Onne is not a private port.
What proof? Don't you do business? Must I feed you everything? Onne port charges too high compare to Tincan and Apapa because price is deliberately not regulated by government there in orfer to drive customers to Lagos.
You people don't know anything put you type a lot A fool that is what you are. You said the tarrif is higher than that of Lagos and I am putting it to you that you are a daft liar. Done business in Onne and Apapa using Maerskline and no difference at all. The only difference is logistics and that is not the responsibility of the port. So Lagos port are private ports? Or what rubbish are you spewing. All you these cords sellers |

Workch: it's not fully functional and the tarrif is about 5 times that of lagos and tincan, why? Can you show us proof? We have functioning port in Delta and Calabar as well. How will the import tarrif be five times above what is charged in Lagos? Have you done any shipment through those ports? Show us proof and we will take it up |
