Over 90% of corrupt practices are done through inflated budgets and contracts. The 2016 budget sure looks like a conduit pipe for looting of funds. Very ironic that a govt that's preaching about corruption and autere measures is engaging in extravagance lifestyle.
Nigerians from all works of life should rise up against this budget.

PoliticsRe: Seun, Listen To The Voice Of [Biafra Supporters] by major466(m): 8:03am On Dec 15, 2015
The right to independence and self determination is enshrine in the United Nations Chatter which Nigeria is signatory. Baning people for expressing their veiws and support for self determination is very undemocratic.
It's very ironic that Nigeria which pride herself as the fighter of colonialist, who was at the forefront in fighting foreign occupation in Southern Africa and colonialism in Africa is repressing a segment of her own people from seeking a country of their own.
PoliticsRe: Seun, Listen To The Voice Of [Biafra Supporters] by major466(m): 7:48am On Dec 15, 2015
Sincere9gerian:
Let me start by making this initial clarification. I am not pro-Biafra. I am for a united Nigeria, though not under the current structure.

However, I believe all people have the right to determine their future and how they want they want to be governed. Therefore, those who are agitating for the actualization of the sovereign state of Biafra have every right to so do, provided they're go about it peacefully.

It is in this light that I view the controversial NL rule 9 as draconian, authoritarian, totalitarian, antidemocratic, discriminatory, unjust and reckless. Such rules should have no place in any free democratic society.

Even Boko Haram and it's leader Shekau, in spite of all their atrocities and gruesome killings of over 10,000 innocent civilians, were neither singled out for discrimination nor shutout by any media organization, not even NL.

No sane mind would support a rule that clamps down a group of people just because of they hold a contrary view on burning national issues. The few that appear to support Seun's rule 9 do so mostly out of hate for anything Igbo.

I believe that if NL is a free democratic forum, the right approach to the current agitation for Biafra by certain people is to counter them with superior arguments.

Those who are in the forefront of the clamor for Biafra are doing so because Nigeria is not working. If the antiBiafran forces also believe Nigeria is not working, what then is the solution?

I still believe in one and united Nigeria but under true federalism. I understand the southwest and southsouth also wants true federalism.

I want a Nigeria where the Enugu state government can fix the Enugu-PH road, rather than wait for politicians far away in Abuja. I want a Nigeria where Benue and Anambra state governments can raise over #20 billion monthly from VAT on farm produce and goods respectively, rather than wait to receive #2 billion monthly from Abuja. I want a Nigeria that is competitive and works for the majority.

The current structure of Nigeria is clearly not working for the majority of Nigerians, whether Igbo, hausa or Yoruba.

If the southwest and southsouth wants true federalism, the north is calling for maintenence of status quo and some elements from the southeast are agitating for actualization of Biafra, then national dialogue is inevitable. While the proponents of Biafra may have taken what seems like extreme position in some people's opinion, but sometimes extreme views are needed so that we can reach a middle point at round table. For those who want true federalism, the proponents of Biafra maybe their only hope of seeing a Nigeria under true federalism in their life time.

To conclude, I hereby join other well meaning Nigerians to call on Seun and his management to review NL rule 9. Otherwise some of us will quietly leave the forum because rule 9 as it is presently, represents everything that a great online forum such as NL shouldn't be.
Totally agree with you. What the owner of the forum did through rule 9 is undemocratic.

It is unfortunate that Nigerian youths of the APC supporters do not understand the implications of allowing impunity to reign as such manoeuvres becomes the order of the day and whatever gain made Which was pioneered by Jonathan's administration either by his actions or inaction will simply crumble thereby returning us back to 2009 to 2011 demo-crazy by Obasanjo where oppositions never existed in almost all the states .
Buhari led Govt . need to understand that in trying to be in charge he should not use his executive influence to undemocratically subject our hard earned democracy to mockery because of his personal aggrandizement .
This was one of the reasons why I rejected this man - This was a man who truncated our first democracy and subjected citizens to all sort of inhuman treatment and denial of their basic rights as citizens ,destroyed the economy with his hardline policies that isn't in tandem with the realities on ground yet some bunch of people fell for his 'change' and 'I will fight corruption' mantra of deceit and self serving.
The truth is that if he continues to chase rats while the house burns, the ensuing chaos is something that we can only imagine.

PoliticsRe: Worst Performing Governors According To CGPI October Report by major466(m): 1:02pm On Nov 08, 2015
The term ''Worse'' is Subjective. What may seem ''Worse'' to one person could be ''Excellent'' to another.
This survey is vague and devoid of facts on ground. The model they use to calculate each governors CGPI is a ''Make Believe Formula'' which appears to be unscientific. More like an Imaginery Abtract of what some group of people want to believe.
This study is completely shady and Ridiculous.

Can u snap and send 1 of those literatures where it is written

Cus d man taking me bible lessons is also a jw.... What he says condratics what u'r saying
Sending you a slice pic of what they wrote and believe as their doctrine will not give you a clear picture of why Jehovah witness do not worship nor regard Jesus Christ as GOD. You have to read the whole book itself to get the exact picture of where they STAND regarding the DIVINITY of Jesus Christ.
There are two books I will like you to buy and read. Both books are very authoritative and writting by Jehovahs Witness themselves.
The names of the books are: ''You Can Live Forever in Paradise on Earth'', and ''Revelation; Its Grand Climax at Hand!''.
Both are very old books and very interesting to read, all written in the 80s.
Christianity EtcRe: Jehovah's Witnesses: 17 Facts People Should Know About Them by major466(m): 11:54am On Nov 08, 2015
Nicolars:
That's actually what you think

They also believe in trinity
Do not get me wrong am not prejudice to Jehovah's Witness group. On the contrary, I like their sense of seriousness and modesty. Their ''Awake Magazine'' is one of my favorite magazines; very informative and colorful. I still read them to this day.
The only thing that spoil the show is their doctrine about the Divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ. They believe Jesus is of equal status with Arch Angels in heaven. It is written all over their literatures. To Jehovah witness, Jesus Christ is not GOD. This belief is a massive contradiction to John1:1 which states that:
''In the beginning was the Word , and the Word was with GOD and the word was GOD.''
2. ''He was in the beginning with GOD. All things were made through Him, and apart from Him not one thing was made that has been made.''

The term ''Word'' from the verse above is refering to Jesus Christ. And He (Jesus Christ) was in existence before the creation of heaven and earth. He was with GOD from the very beginnging. And He was GOD. All created objects in heaven (including all the angels big and small) and earth were made through him. Without Him, not one thing was made.
If the Jehovah Witness group hold the believe that Jesus Christ is not GOD but a majestic being, created just like Arch Micheal, how come the Bible categorically recognizes Jesus Christ as GOD and that all things both in heaven and earth were made through him in John1:1-3?

Dats a lie

Tell me 1 of their doctrines and were it contradicts the bible

I will tell u urz and hw it contradicts d bible
Jehovah witness for example do not believe that Jesus Christ is GOD. To them Jesus Christ is a created being just like arch Angel Micheal. This belief is contrary to John1:1.

Unfortunately Jehovah's witness's core doctrine contradicts the doctrines of the bible.
PoliticsRe: I Won’t Stop Talking Of Corruption During Jonathan’s Govt—buhari by major466(m):
The Daura born Magician's outburst in India lately that Nigeria is totally corrupt and broke was not an accident nor a slip of the tongue. PMB knows exactly what he's doing.
For those who do not know, the Magician does not believe in Capitalist Economy. Neither does he believes in a Private Sector let economy; reason why he's doing everything possible to scare away potential foriegn investors from coming to Nigeria.
Buhari is a down to earth disciple of Socialism; an economic structure where govt executes all the work. His remark; ''Nigeria is broke'' is a ''Socialist statement'', a representation of APC economic policy direction where the central govt Leads in all aspects of economic activities ''Centralism''. Thesame economic structure that led to the collapse of former USSR.
Don't be bothered by this administration's lack of economic blue print because they don't have one. They're all for Socialism (Big Government Economy).
Nigerians have really entered One Chance.

There is dignity in labor! I feel bad when I see Nigerians talking about how they can't do this job or that job. Go to the West and see people who are way more educated than a large portion of our educated population doing what we refer to as 'menial' jobs to take care of their bills. They do not only do it but they do it with pride.

When will my people take pride in honest day job?

The Daura born Magician belong to the order of Kaduna mafia. A Northern ethno-religous brotherhood that see Nigeria as its private property. Careful study of political developments in the country and you will notice some power confluence around Abuja-Katsina-Kaduna. These axis of power control the affairs of Nigeria.
