PoliticsRe: Ministerial List: Buhari Should Prepare For Stones by major466(m): 7:07am On Oct 07, 2015
The Daura born Magician's ministerial list came as a surprise to those who believed hook line and sinker the ''Change'' mantra of Buhari's APC government. It is just business as usual. The list itself exposes the reality that it was never a total change in the true sense of the word ''Change'' but a change in government. All other things like god fatherism, political reward and recycling are intact.

Has anyone noticed that power supply has gone back to the dark days ever since the sallah celebrations. Please I need some enlightenment on what's happening. When it was good we heard everyday on the news media how the mega watts keep increasing YET this present silence is deafening. Previously we used to hear that poor gas supply or pipeline vandalism was responsible for it but there's nothing like that at present YET the power supply is really bad now. I travelled down to Auchi in Edo last week and my phone was down almost all through my stay and they complained that it started during sallah. I came down to lagos where power supply was very good YET same story till now. Even our generator that we have not used for long has finally been kicked back to life with attendant noise in the neighbourhood. Please does anyone have an inkling of what the problem ishuh Cc lalastical
It appears the Daura born Magician's body language is failing.

In 1824, Sultan Bello alleged that god had given him all the land of the infidels right down to the coast of southern Nigeria. After independence in 1960, the Sardauna had concieved of the attainment of ''Self-Government'' by northern Nigeria on 15th March 1959, as the recreation of the Fulani empaire of Dan Fodio. He further claimed that he was informed of aa prophecy that the Fulani Empire would last for one hundred years and that its end would come on the grazing groun. - The Kaduna Mafia chapter 5, page 46
The wickedness of these people will soon come to an end.

APC is pathetic and their supporters are worse, they knew Saraki was corrupt and they still allowed him to pick their form, win their primary and use their platform to win the senate seat without raising a pin against him because he was still doing their biddings. Then he became the senate president and suddenly became a dirty corrupt person with 2003 charges. Their supporters who are not better than saraki are shouting to high heaven. I refuse to be a blind supporter and will never wish my generation to come, to support senselessly in such manner.
Dirty politics is what APC is known for.

I've been following your posts but i must say you are a misguided youth
It will be wise if you channel your efforts into nation building rather than fighting along party lines
This same saraki you are rooting for has great skeletons that has been laid bare,
then why are you now turning it into a party battle affair? instead of eschewing corruption and stand by the law that has made thieving politicians being docked and stripped of all they stole when they got the chance to make things better for their people, here you are turning the law to a joke and into a party battle affair? what's wrong with you?
It's young people like you that will still say ibori was witch-hunted till this day.

How long will you caress the ego of pdp hoping to get a job from them? Why will you be this selfish and oblivious to the reality at hand?
These politicians are using you or you wish to use yourself for their corrupt plans but why will a young mind like you go to waste?

what message are you passing across to other youths, rather unemployed like you?
What is wrong in PDP taking over the senatehuh

I wondered, if Saraki played ball with APC all this while, will he still be tried on false declaration of assetshuh A crime he was alleged to have committed 13 years agohuh
For one thing, this article was an eye openner. The APC chieftain has just confessed that Saraki's current duel with CCT was a direct fallout of his emergence as Nigeria's Senate President.
Well none of my business. They can fight themselves till thy kingdom come.

The rise in evil activities paint a bleak future for Nigeria. At this point am forced to admit that the United States govt were right afterall. They got the date wrong but their prediction about the disintegration of Nigeria, in light of current happenings may be fulfilled.

PoliticsRe: JPMorgan: Poor Economic Decision By Okonjo Iweala And GEJ Team by major466(m):
First of all, Okonjo Iweala was not responsible for the fall in international oil prices. Secondly, crude oil is the major source of Nigeria's foreign exchange. Thirdly, the value of the naira is tied to the dollar via price of crude oil. The value of the naira is directly proportional to international crude oil prices. The higher the price, the higher the value of the naira and vice vasa. Its no rocket science that in view of falling price of crude, the naira will experience some kind of economic pressure. This is why extraodinary measures like fiscal policies are crucial to cushion the effect of lower foreign exchange coming through crude oil.
This article is nothing but a cheap attempt to excuse the Daura born Magician of his unpreparedness in governance and forming a cabinet. The slide in economic activities in Nigeria within the last three months was mainly because of the directionless and autopilotness of the Buhari APC led government.
Investors do not make business decisions based on body language and news papers, but on sound government fiscal policies.
The absence of finance, trade and investment, and commerce ministers, positions responsible for executing government's economic policies send signals to the international community that this government is not serious.

BusinessRe: Nigeria To Resume Oil Export To United States by major466(m): 9:38am On Sep 07, 2015
bushdoc9919:
Oil prices are crashing because

1.The Saudis deliberately increased their oil production.....creating a glut in the oil market to put American domestic oil producers out of business....because right now the US is becoming self sufficient in oil production(And yes....why blame the US for wanting to stop relying on imported oil? Must the US Buy oii from outside?).

2.Everybody is producing oil. Countries like Uganda and Zambia have discovered oil for instance. This further pushes down the price.

The problem is Nigeria must stop relying on resource exports....and invest in industrial development.
Happenings in the international oil market is more of politics than economic. The US govt romance with shale oil productions for example was nothing but a political foreign policy vendetta than economic. it's very expensive to produce oil through shale.
More reason why Nigeria should develop an economic base that will not be subject to control by international politics.

Whatever.... This is Nigeria last chance for diversification. The proceeds gotten from this opportunity wouldn't be looted and wasted under Buhari, Saudi Arabia have benefited too much from the US economy. Time to let Nigeria and Iran in!

Mynd44:
If India, China and Brazil increases their Fuel imports from us, we might not have any crude left to sell to the US.

We need options when it comes to buyers
I understand Nigeria need options but, more importantly Nigeria need her sovereignty back. Nigeria should be moving towards diversification. Nigeria need an economic base that she can control, not depending international oil markets.
The United States govt who are responsible for crashing international oil prices for her sinister plots will still do it in future. They did it in the 80s and 2014-2015. They will surely do it again.

Truth is that power blocks within APC ranks are fighting tooth and nail for the formation of cabinet and ministerial nominations, especially the position of minister of finance. Anything less than the finance minister is unacceptable to the north. Same goes to south west, who pride themselves and their region as the economic hub of Nigeria. The Magician is in deep confusion as we speak.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria May Slide Into Recession As Economic Indicators Flash Red by major466(m): 8:50am On Sep 07, 2015
The irony of this administration is that, the Daura born Magician who won presidential elections over five months ago had so far not been able to identify great minds to man the economy.
Nigeria going down three months without a finance minister at a time the country is witnessing huge economic challenges due to falling international oil prices is unbelievable.
BusinessRe: Nigeria To Resume Oil Export To United States by major466(m): 8:36am On Sep 07, 2015
The script is being played perfectly. Get Nigeria play ball with the United States or reject her oil if she choose otherwise. Nigeria is doomed!
PoliticsRe: Investors Lose N1.6trn In First 100 Days Of Buhari Tenure by major466(m): 8:18am On Sep 07, 2015
It's no rocket science that investors are bound to loose huge investment proceeds within the economy when Nigeria has gone over three months without economic team.
Economic activities in the last 100 days seem to be in reverse gear. The government is completely directionless and clueless as far as economic policies and blue print are concerned.
The gains of the last administration are slowly being eroded.

You'ar not far from the truth. This administration is still on hangover mode of post election victory. They are yet to begin the real process of governance.
If the Buhari government fails to stop these administrative propaganda and get to work, their popularity and goodwill will go down the drain in no time.
PoliticsRe: Photo: Channels' TV Live Poll: Over 75% Of Nigerians Approve Of Buhari's Job by major466(m): 7:47am On Sep 07, 2015
The APC led Buhari administration better wake up from their honey moon phase and get down to real business of governance to deliver their numerous campaign promises. Otherwise they would end up becoming the most unpopular government ever in Africa. Nothing last forever.
PoliticsRe: An Indepth Look Into Buhari's Asset Declaration By Barcanista by major466(m): 9:29am On Sep 04, 2015
The major aim of assets declaration is the capture of the total worth of public and political office holders before they assume office. So far, the declaration by the Magician through Garba Shehu lacks specifics and indept information regarding the President's assets and his total net worth.
Until CCB complete their own side of the verifications and make the documents public, what Garba Shehu declared yesterday is just mere talk.

Sincere9gerian:
I told the Buharist and body language apostles that power generation always fluctuates and that all We're enjoying now is still part of the dividends of the transformation agenda in the last administration. Buhari himself confirmed that he has neither added a single megawatts of power nor invested one kobo in the power sector but the body language apostles would have none of that.

The current generation is sufficient now to guarantee stable power in many parts of the country because we're in rainy season when power demand is somewhat low. Dry season will soon be here and We'll be back to square one. Then the body language apostles will be missing in action.

I told them that this is not the time for a new regime to celebrate Any phantom achievement in a very critical sector like the power sector, rather we expect that this new regime should have unfolded it's plans and roadmap for the sector and followed it up with ACTION. It is unheard of that a regime that only came to power 3 months ago will have the temerity to talk of achievements at this time. It can only happen in Nigeria in the mind of some sick sycophants.

Anyway, the set back is only temporary and will soon be back to the transformation threshold. We're still waiting for the Buhari govt to unfold his plans, agenda and roadmap for the sector.

Meanwhile, 100 days is gone already, and that is why we say it's a 100 wasted days

He was so passionate about Nigeria contents his statements while he was alive. I could remembered how he took the US government to floor during the era of terrorist country watching-list and when US refused to sell arms and ammunitions to Nigeria and they (US) were still using their mighty to block Nigeria from getting it elsewhere. He openly confronted US Secretary of State for Department of Defence for their action(s), he accused US of supporting terrorism.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Study and reveiw issues of International politics and you will discover that individuals highly critical of US government policies like Gadahfi, Sadam Huseni, Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, JF Kennedy, Martin Luther King, are either dead or about to die. Those who died die in suspicious circumstances.
There's high possibility that the Nigerian ambassador was murdered by the US.
