Many Nigerians come here on vVisit Visa to seek for Greener pasture,but due to effect of Covid 19 no jobs were secured ,they want to go back to Nigeria but The Flight fare is unbearable 2500Diram/#250K).Flight arrangements by Nigeria Embassy these joblesss,overstayed ,Stranded Nigerians cannot afford it .We are appealing to Federal Government, Agencies,State Govt to do something as a matter of Urgent to rescue these people,before the deadline 17 August ultimatum given by UAE.We cannot afford seeing our fellow Nigerians prosecuted and being Jailed in UAE because Lackadaisical attitude of our Government (Embassy ).Please Come to their Aids

It’s true that job is now relatively scarce, unlike before, even for other nationalities but it’s wrong to discourage people from coming to search for jobs in UAE. As someone rightly wrote, the thread was not meant to discourage people from coming here.
There are many reasons why most Nigerians are not getting jobs. Mostly, these days, it’s what we have to offer in terms of experience and expertise and how we position ourselves for the little opportunities that gets us the job. Nobody is interested in what you went through or how much you’ve spent to make yourself available in UAE.
We do help ourselves beyond what many are insinuating here but you can’t take over people’s life or force them to take some steps to better their chances just because you want to help them. The fact that most people that were assisted don’t give comments to appreciate our kind gesture on pages of nairaland or elsewhere for people to read doesn’t mean that Nigerians are not helping one another.
As per whether Nigerians are suffering here, fingers are not equal and you don’t expect things to automatically turn rosy for you once you move out of Nigeria.
Finally, I don’t think it’s necessary for us to litter the thread with how much we are enjoying life or suffering in uae but I can assure you that there are many Nigerians who are doing great financially and in their careers here in UAE and Alhamdulillah, I am one of them.

One thing it proves is that it is the same recruitment agency. It depends on what you are told when you get there. You can't be too sure it is legit or fake these days. When you get there, you will probably know sha. Just be cool headed. Don't be too fast to part with your money in case money is involved, you can give money IF you are 110% SURE. Sure is different from convinced oh.
If the venue is far, I'll advice you not to bother.

If a real job recruiter request for money can I pay him, or how do we differentiate between real and fake,?OR we should not pay at all Genuine/FakeThanks need your response.

well, it depends on how much you are ready to settle for. Where I worked, I was paid 250k monthly. I have a friend collecting 335k monthly. some people are also collecting 180k, 200k. you can always find a better paying job, it's not like Dubai where you are contracted to work for a period of time before you can change job. on the issue of house rent, you can share flats with other Nigerians. let say 30 to 50k per month, depending on the town and location

you didn't state what the error was for people here to know if its a minimal error that is not significant a problem to the application or an error that has weight and needs correction.

Your own Is fair ,I applied on 14/3/19&captured on that very day up till now no possitive result .Excuses :by officer in charge :no booklets ,faulty printing machine,govt issued few booklets ,Yet they issue to some people Claimed VIP,sick applicants

Do you have any special skill eg plumbing, electrician, wood works etc? If yes, theres aome hope for you. But if you are just going now,with Ramadan by the corner to hustle for cleaner, car wash and like jobs, my advise is to look elsewhere or invest your money in Naija.

Btw, your post says you are going with work visa so why are you worried again ?

With this post are suggesting that a Degree HND holder ,with no skills as you mention cannot go Dubai to hunt job?

You can fill the form yourself so those agents don’t mess up your application by lying.
A ticket to Canada will cost 400-500k depends on time of booking
Visa application fee is 100 cad
Biometrics is 85cad
If you’re spending 10-14 days, I’ll advise spending money be 100$ per day which should cover both hotel and feeding
In the end, spending money plus visa fees will be around 1600 cad which is around 460k.
Can you see why 850k is looking very slim?
Just calculate all the expenses to know how much you need to travel before applying. All the best!!

Canada doesn't have that. Their consulate for Visa processing is in Ghana.

So u only have to submit the application docs and do bio finger print at the independent VAC in Lag or Abj, who u will pay for the service of sending it for u. No interviews for Canada Visa applctns.
