Hello Armah22 I do not think so, especially when your sponsor have dependents.. Peace Armah22: Is 6m enough to show as proof of funds in my sponsors account after paying first semester tuition fee, and having living expenses sent into my account. The 6m pof is just for balance of my tuition which is about 2.3m |

Hello Itzray If the LOA you submitted with your application isn't valid again, you can go ahead and submit the updated one... But if the submitted one is still valid, do not send the updated one until its no longer valid... When your Submitted LOA has expired, IRCC will definitely need to see an updated LOA from the applicant, so they will eventually request for an updated LOA, but you can as well submit even before they request... You can simultaneously send via Webform and Email, no offence in doing so. Peace ItzRay: Hello house good evening to y'all,
I defered my admission from January 2022 to September 2022 around January cos i'm still waiting for a decision from IRCC by the time classes started. My school sent me a new LOA for September 2022 today so i want to confrim if i should send my new LOA via webform to IRCC or should i wait for them to request for it as my eligibility is ongoing and don't know if sending it will delay my application or not. Also if i'm to send the new LOA via webform, should i also send it to the various IRCC emails or just the webform only?
@Makano, @legaceyedition et all the gurus here plz help put me through...thanks. |

Hello Bunmijab They are actually on your case as regards your Proof of funds/ declaration of sponsors.. In your application you claim your parents are your sponsor, but the Statement of Account they are seeing is the one for a 3rd party that wasn't declared in your application.. Make sure you submit your Parents(sponsor) SOA(Mbs) asap ad truthfully explain the Mix up, before they send you PFL or something related.. Peace Bunmijab: Hello guys
Please I urgently need our advice please.
I ordered for my GCMS note and here's what I got. My mum friend submitted my application (it's a long story and I had no choice) and wrongly submitted a wrong statement with it.
Please how best do I approach this situation even when I get the original statement of account. @justmellow @frankrobbn @anon @makano and other pls I need response asap |

Hello forward If you are convinced in your financial capacity to sponsor your self, then you do not need a sponsor... Self sponsored applicants get Visas like the sponsored applicants, there is no disadvantage at all in sponsoring yourself , just do your home work in convincing the Visa officer that indeed you won't have any issues in sponsoring and taking care of yourself all through your stay in Canada and if you are married, you must also show that despite the expenses of your schooling in Canada, you must show that you also have the funds to take care of the family you are leaving behind.. Peace Forwardxxx: Good day All, is it a must one must have a sponsor? Most of the applications here i've seen had sponsors...What are the chances of sponsoring oneslf? Is there a chance of success? Please help. Thank you |

Congrats Onlinedoctor on your PPR I am glad my little contribution on this thread is part of your success story.. All glory to God.. Canada cant wait for you to explore.. Peace Onlinedoctor: My P.....P...R dropped today like I said earlier today the feeling is magic and I would love everyone to feel this way on this platform because you deserve it. My application was imperfect with its advantage and disadvantages such as am in my mid-forties and I also got some refusals in the past but you see what they are looking for is that truthful person in their application and admissible into their country. I submitted loads of documents cos I have them, my documents were over 70 but that was not my strength, it is the power of the Living God Jehovah. Regarding sending mails, I am someone who hates to bother people for anything but when it comes to the job I can send emails to get the job done. I will text, email, call, chat and buzz just to get my job done and I realized that was the way out although I didn't start on time but when I did, it was extra polite and reasonable. I also contacted the MP for Vancouver and I was polite and they responded. I will recommended that if your timeline is overdue send webforms but extra polite and make them see reasons why they need to finalized your application.
In giving honor to whom it is due, its my heavenly Father that deserve the praise who is worthy to be worshipped. Secondly, I used someone on this platform (frankrobbn1) on this platform because I didn't want to do try and error. He's good with his applications and has a great understanding of what is required. Makano, Teemenzo, Anon123, Scott99ish, Osemigbo, all the @usernames you guys are all selfless. You guys deserve a lifetime medals

Hello Tonia You didn't make mention of the inflow and outflow of the said accounts.. But this is my advise, you do not need to rush to apply, since your sponsor(hubby ) earns over a million naira monthly, thats makes the work easy.. Give your self some few months and work on your SOA.. I wanna assume his inflow is very good, now he needs to work on his closing balance as the sponsor.. So let him save up for some few months and also you as the applicant.. Even though we have seen peeps getting visa with low closing balance, remember every application is different and unique and also instances like these comes once in a while.. So please still give yourselves some few months, try build your closing balance and have him pay part of your tuition fees if not all.. You have a good chance if you both carefully work on these areas.. And having an express entry shouldn't be a problem cos its stated on their website that dual intention is allowed and I have seen few applicants get their study permit despite having an EE profile.. If you can convince the Visa Officer, you honestly have no problem.. Peace Tonia1720: Hello everyone I’m about to apply for a student permit. I got admitted into a Canadian school for a one year PGD course and school fee is 16,000CAD.
My husband is my sponsor and he earns over a million naira monthly, he has 30,000 usd in one account and a little above 3 million naira in another account. I intend to use my husband and 2 children (aged 18months and 5years) as proof of ties.
I have a job that pays 150k monthly since 2019 but have about 200k in my account. I have a car worth 3m and hubby has a car worth 8m. I don’t have a landed property but my hubby has 2 plot of lands but without C of O. But my parents have landed properties C of O.
Also I have an active Express entry profile.
Do I stand a chance with all of these? Or we should save more before I apply. Please help gurus in the house @makano @frankrobbn @justmellow @lekiboboe |

Peace Chechem: Dear Makano, Please I need clarification on something. The college I am applying to does not need me to prove my proficiency in English because I already possess a degree. But I want to also ask if ielts or any English test is compulsory when applying for a study permit, after I must have gotten admission? Thanks in advance... |

Congrats purespikes It has finally ended in praise.. I am glad to be part of your testimony. Go and explore in Canada.. Congrats once again.. Peace purespikes: LONG POST ALERT This testimony is on behalf of my wife, who is a silent member of this forum and has been following this thread consistently since Part 19. The Canada journey started in 2019. We started with the EE route by doing WES and writing IELTS, but due to age, we couldn't gather the needed points. Getting PNP also became difficult. So, in 2021, we decided to focus fully on the study route. As such, my spouse and I devoted time to gathering knowledge from this thread. The biggest challenge we had was how to convince the VO on her choice of program (Master of Organizational Management) considering her career as an Auditor in the public service with previous degrees in Accounting( 1st) and Policy Analysis (MSc). She also had lump sum deposits into her account. However, we took another 3 months to systematically build her account as a self-sponsored applicant and also gave detailed explaination on every lump sum deposits in a separate LOE. So, after settling for Crandall (she got admission into many colleges) we eventually submitted her application (alongside a visitor visa application for my son.
TIMELINE Application Submitted- 6th December, 2021 Biometric Completed - 8th December, 2021 Biometric confirmed - 9th December, 2021 Upfront Medicals - 3rd February, 2022 Upfront Medical Passed - 15th February, 2022 Eligibility Started - 17th February, 2022 BVL - 21st February 2022 PPR- 21st February, 2022.
I started sending mails to ircc email addresses on 13th February, 2022, when her medical was not updated. I sent the mails like twice daily and got the generic response.
Upon her PPR, I noticed that my son's medical was updated to pass today and his eligibility review also started today. Hopefully, his PPR is dropping soon as well.
DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED (1) SOP 7 pages. (written by me. It took me over a month. I had to edit over and over) (2) LOA (one year Master of Organizational Management at Crandall University, New Brunswick) (3) Full tuition payment receipt (4) First Degree and MSC results and Transcripts (5) IELTS results (6) 4 months Pay slips for both of us (7) Company documents with Tax Clearance (we both run the company) ( Notarized letter of support from me (9) Her personal and family travel history to US, UK, (10) Landed properties (11) regular bank statement (6 months) (12) Marriage certificate (13) Family pictures, (14) promotion and employment letters for both of us

Ask if truly the person submitted a fake employment letter or not.. I just reponded to a similar PFL from an applicant some minutes ago, and he confirmed he submitted a fake employment letter and I told point blank that there is nothing I can do, cos I do not involve myself in fake documentations, and possibly nothing can be done since he admitted it was fake he submitted.. So ask the applicant very well, if he didn't submit a fake Employement letter , then there is a way out.. Peace Anon123: Good day guys..
How can someone defend a PFL as a result of claimed fraudulent employment letter?
NB: both company names are genuine.
I dont really understand though, the employment letter was not stamped(he can get it stamped) but asides that, is there anything else? |

Congrats once again Peace.. mama12345: Good news guys, my PPR just came in at 7:46am this morning. It can only be God, I am still in shock. My story is a special one, my Bachelors is Law, I have an LLB, BL (Law School), and Masters in International Business, but I applied for Diploma, not even Post Graduate Diploma, but Diploma in Digital Business Management. I wasn't even aware of this forum when I applied in September, I just followed a YouTuber (Noel Abingwa) and learnt the steps and documents needed when applying for my visa through one of his Videos. I contacted him and he was kind enough to share his statement of purpose/ letter of explanation with me. As I started getting anxious, I decided to join this forum 30th December and it was so encouraging because I kept getting alot of support, more especially from @Makano.
I got this message below from Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship's Office, on the 18th of February 2022
IRCC records confirm that your application was received on September 6, 2021, and is being processed at the Canadian visa office in Nairobi. Criminality checks and medical examination results are passed, however, further review is required before an eligibility decision is made. This means that the case is no longer straightforward and will, in most situations, lead to additional delays in processing. Once a decision has been made, officers will be in a position to determine next steps in processing
Thank you for answering my questions, more especially in the past two days after the message I got above.
@Makano encouraged me that "If truly you are truthful with your application and you didn't hide any information from them, then expect a positive decision from them"
Thank you @PatrickOkunima @olasubomy @mrprolifik @VIKKYIFE @Teemenzo @Time2soar1 @Predator188 who helped give me answers to my posts as well.
I even ordered for GCMS notes on the 4th of January but its still not out.

Hello jeffi7 1. He will have to do another Medicals before he travels.. 2. Yes, they always check 3. After his Medical Examination, the clinic submits the Medical results to IRCC. He can as well upload his E-medical sheet to IRCC via Webform and also to IRCC official emails.. Peace Jeffi7: Hello Sir/mas in the house, pls, I need your advice on this matter, my brother got PPR and he is traveling in August this year for the fall semester, his up front medical he did for his visa application last year will expire in June this year before he travels in August.
1. Does he have to do a new medical before he travels or he can just travel like that ?
2. Does immigration check for it at the POE in Canada ?
3. If he needs to do a new medical, what would he do next and who does he submit it to since he already has A STAMPED VISA?

Hello Joke Why should you say you expecting a refusal though, be positive.. I just said most of the Final decision that came days after Eligibility started were refusals, and most final decision that came months after Eligibility end in Approvals, and I said this is just based on my Observation cos we have as well seen approval come days after Eligibility and Refusals months after Eligibility... You should be thankful that at least your Eligibility has started though, many applications get refused even before getting to the Eligibiilty stage.. One your Eligibility starts, you can either be Approved or refused.. But yours will end in praise Peace jokeadegokeblog: So does this mean that we all should be expecting a refusal like this? Because a whole lot of people are already on eligibility review right now |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by makano: 12:46pm On Feb 20, 2022 |
Hello Teemenzo Maybe I do not understand the bolded, but I never mentioned everybody on Eligibility will be refused, I would not have said that even when sleeping.. Maybe you didn't understand my post , or I don't understand the bolded. For your application to be approved, your Eligibility must start.. But one can get a refusal even before Eligibility starts (Such applicant didn't pass the 1st stage of Background check)... Once your Eligibility starts, you can either be Approved or Refused.. Peace Teemenzo: Let me expantiate his quote if you dont understand.
Makano said that 1) There is no specific timeline for eligibility review to PPR. This means that you can get a decision either approval or refusal early immdiately your review starts or very late. Better still you can get it same day the review started.
Buchito1 gor his ppr two days after review started. So no timeline
2) he has seen people get decisions just days after review started, ilppr can come anytime.
3) by his own observation (even though i have other opinions), many of those who gets decisions 2 to 3 days of review starting gets refusal.
So this doesn't mean everybody on eligibility review will get refusal.
