Hello Mykhel You can get the list of documents here from the timeline of approved applicants.. For Finances, if yoru school is outside Quebec, you are expect to have your Total Tuition fee + $10,000CAD... For instance, if your Total tuition fees is 30KCAD, it means you are required to have at least 40kCAD in your account.. But if you are married, you must have more than 40K cos you will need to have funds to take care of the family you are living behind.. So in such situation, to be on a safer side, you can have 50kCAD... Miscellaneous expenses are also included.. Peace Mykhel10: Good morning guys So I got admitted into NBCC and sask poly. But would be opting for sask poly.
However, I want to know what I should put into consideration as I’m would be sponsoring myself. This includes documents, expected financial balance and all. Although im expected to make a down payment of $10,000 CAD first which is what I’m working on currently but with regards to requirements for VISA process so I can get an approval I need heads up from experienced people here @frankrobbin @makano @keitiema please I need your help |

Hello Blaza In relation to the bolded, if your resumption date isn't valid and you have an updated LOA, I will advise you submit it if you haven't done so.. or IRCC to have contacted your school as regards your resumption date, it shows they need updated information of your resumption date.. Peace Blazca: Thank you @makano
I keeo sending mails and keep getting generic responses. And I got my gcms note 2 weeks ago and it said nothing about any documents being required.
My eligibility is recommend interview, they also contacted my school to confirm my resumption date. |

Hello hdior For a study permit applicant or an international student in Canada that wants the family to join, a visiting permit application is for the Kids, while a spousal permit application is for the spouse.. But if you are not a study permit applicant, and you want your child to go study in Canada, then a study permit application is required.. Peace hdior: Hello house, please for my study permit application, what sort of VISA am I to apply for my 3 year old accompanying me? Visitor's or Study permit?
Thank you. |

Hello Overcomer Lemme just summarise this, you failed to convince the Visa officer that you are a genuine student who is going to Canada to study, you also failed to convince them that you would be returning back to your home country after your study in Canada.. Also you didn't explain how important or beneficial your proposed course of study is to your Career and also to the development of your Home country.. The financial aspect of your application too was weak.. In summary, your SOP and LOE were Vague.. Now that you just started working, I won't advise you to apply immediately, sit down, take your time and strategize on how you can convince the visa officer of their refusal concerns as regards your application. Work on your funds, Work on your SOP and LOE and make sure you have the necessary documents to back up your claims this time... You can go through the Approval timelines to see the documents the successful applicants submitted for their approved application.. Peace Overcomer1234: Please I need your advice towards my reapplication, I have attached my gcms notes and my delay reasons , I will appreciate positive responses on how to tackle these refusal reasons . First degree , mechanical engineering, going for masters , uni of Ottawa MEng. 25y/o. Ps I was unemployed when I submitted my application but I have a job now but no travel history ,Thank you |

Following @Makano’s advice read here, I started sending emails and webforms on the 21st of October (to all the IRCC offices I could lay my hands on their emails but later limited it to Nairobi, London and Lagos offices). I sent mails and webforms weekly oh…..there was a time I was sending daily. I’m sure they were tired of me but I didn’t care. I still sent the day before PPR came!
Finally, I read and read through this thread. My people, I got almost all the information I needed here. That is why I’m saying a big THANK YOU and GOD BLESS YOU to everyone that contributes on this platform.
I tailored my application after @goingforward’s testimony (Available on page 1) and replicated all the documents she used for her family application (as many as were applicable to my profile). Thank you oh @goingforward.

Congrats to you HHH3 So happy for you, and I am glad to be part of your success story.... Canada cant wait for you to shine bright like a diamond.. Peace HHH3: It is PPR guys.
August 22nd 2021 and first time Applicant.
PPR and Correspondence Letter came in around 12. 35 but I saw it around 2 this afternoon.
MBA Program at UCW. I started class since October and completed the Fall Term online. Winter Term started on the 10th January, 2022 but I had to apply for leave of absence because of the delay in Study Permit approval.
Please don't give up on yours, keep pursuing. I am over 40 and got it. Just keep your focus on Jehovah God in the process.
I came across this thread after my application and invitation to proceed on medicals. Medicals was updated since November 13 and I had to come here to understand if the delay in PPR was peculiar to me. From following examples here, I raised several web forms and sent emails (I stopped sending them since last week). I requested for GCMS Notes (I heard that for the first time here) but I guess I don't need that anymore. Few days ago, I sent a mail to my MP who hasn't replied yet. This is all God and I give Him all the glory.
I had encouragement from Makano and PapaObi when I needed to start using part of my funds
It has now ended in PRAISE to God.

Hello Blazca Your application is not abandoned.. You need to take actions if truly you are tired of the wait, keep sending them mails everyday without getting tired or relenting.. Also order for your GCMS notes to know what is actually causing the delay, maybe they request a document which they have not notified you about, or they are really doing a thorough Background check on you, so many reasons for an application to be delayed.. So take actions until you get an update from them, your application is well past the Processing time.. It will end in praise.. Peace Blazca: Please. What can make someone's application to be abandoned since May? |

Hello Miimsss SOP - Statement of PurposeAn SOP is a letter addressed to the Visa Officer where the applicant talks about the purpose of why he/she is going to study in Canada. Points explained will dwell on 1. How the advanced study complements past academics and how it will brighten up the future career scope. 2. Financial capability of the applicant to finance studies & living costs, 3 Why Canada 4. Why the particular program and why the particular institution.. e.t.c STUDY PLAN This is a sub section in your SOP where you talk about your study plans in Canada.. Peace miimssss: Hello everyone,

Hello kokolanre Guess you didn't pay the deposit fee or part of your school fees for the January Intake, cos if you did, they would have deferred your seat to a closer date.. Now them stating you are on the waiting list means the intake for May is full, so if by any chance any of the May applicants do not pay their Deposit fee or part payment before the deadline given them, then there would be opening for applicants on the waiting list who are ready to pay.. So be hopeful.. And if May is still full, then you defer to September 2022 before that intake gets full too.. Them informing IRCC isn't necessary... Peace kokolanre123: Good day Makano thanks for always below is the response i got after telling the school we cant make the Jan 13th deadline and choose the deferral option
Response: Your deferral request to May 2022 intake has been received. Currently this intake is full. You are now on a May 2022 intake waiting list. An approval of a deferral request is not guaranteed and is dependent upon seats becoming available. We will contact you at a later date should any seats become available. Please note that effective immediately, your seat for Jan 2022 intake will not be kept. There will not be an updated Letter of Admission unless seats become available. So my question is , Do we inform IRCC about the latest development ? |

Hello Malone When choosing a course of study, the most important thing to consider is if the proposed course is closely related to your 1st degree or Job description, also if the course will afford you benefits and opportunities In your home country and not if its lucrative or not in Canada. When you apply for a course with that mindset and you go put it in your SOP that you choosing this particular course because its more lucrative in Canada, then you will be shooting yourself in the leg indirectly, cos the Visa officer expects you come back to your home country to come use what you have learnt from your study in Canada to benefit ot develope your home country... Peace Malone122: Cc makano, lekiboboe ,Ketima and ever other experienced individuals please a comment would be appreciated I need your “opinion” on this take please, which seems more lucrative to study in Canada Business administration (international business) Or Business administration (marketing) Any other suggestions on business related career pathways would be appreciated NOTE — for a younger sibling first degree |

Please what is the correct option to select? I notice it has been on "No" all this while. Thank you for your prompt response. |

Hello Creativeowos First, thanks for the compliments.. To your question, documents are submitted when you apply for your study permit application i.e immediately you click on the payment button, your application (which includes your documents) has been submitted and received by IRCC... And it is after this you receive a request to go do your biometrics, this is if you are 1st time applicant though.. Although documents are also submitted after the submission of your application, most of the time, they are documents specifically requested by IRCC... But 90% of documents are submitted while applying for a study permit application, and this is before Biometrics and Passport stamping.. Peace Creativeowos: Good evening everyone. @Makano weldone i must say u are doing a wonderful job. My question is this, I noticed people sharing their testimony on ppr are mentioning documents submitted, are those documents submitted during biometric or when they will send their passport for stamping ? . Hello Atigba If you read to understand, you would realise I never mentioned that the moniker must pay for living expenses.. What I said was that the sponsor should show commitment by paying part or full school fees and the funds for living expenses should be transferred to the account of the applicant.... How will you pay for the living expenses of a country you haven't entered yet.. The sponsor should put in the funds into the applicant's account and clearly state it in his Letter of Sponsorhip.... Please let's be guided.. Peace Atigba: Is it compulsory you must pay your living expenses before you apply for visa.
Part payment of tuition should be enough. |

Congratulations RukkyAdenike on your PPR, all glory to God.. You are welcome, I am glad to be part of your success story.. It has finally ended in praise.. Peace RukkyAdenike: *PPR*alert/ Application timeline.
I am new to this platform and I've been a silent reader. Though I didn't know of this platform when I applied, since when I joined in December, I've learnt a lot from people here. Thank you @makano for answering my question that day, I really appreciate. I got my ppr that same day so I didn't later do as suggested. Here goes the timeline: First time applicant
Submitted application in August 22, 2021 Did biometrics in August 26, updated the same day. I didn't do an upfront medicals because I want to know how far my application has gone. I heard that if you are sent a medical request, then you are 80 percent to getting your visa. So the wait began after biometrics.. I didn't think about it much because I don't want to have hbp though I continue praying. I didn't even bother checking my portal. Got a medical request exactly 2 months later- October 22, 2021. Did my medical exam Nov 9, updated to pass Nov 15. Then the wait again. I waited the remaining of November and the whole of December. Got PPR on January 5th, 2022, Alhamdulillah.
Documents submitted: - The 3 IMM forms - LOA (unconditional) stating the partial scholarship I got. - 4 months bank statement of my uncle and Mum each. None was up to 10 million naira, though there was active transactions on both. - My SOP. I tried to be as honest as possible with it. It was just a page. - Passport photograph - international passport.
For people still waiting for ppr, it will come soon. Just don't stop praying. There is nothing prayer cannot do. It's not about the millions of naira you have in your account that does it, but God's grace.
Have a good evening y'all. |

Hello bola The sponsor simply showed total committment to the study and living expenses of the applicant, all through the applicant's stay in Canada.. The sponsor paid full school fees, transferred the full living expenses to the account of the applicant and some extra funds.. The sponsor drafted a Letter of sponsorship to explain all this with evidence and also an Affidavit of sponsorship... The sponsor had in the past sponsored the said applicant, so I advised the applicant what the sponsor needed to do and she listedned and got her Visa at the end of the day.. Mind you, they didnt do any of this in the previous refused application, they thought cos they had 50Million naira, the Visa officer should know there is plenty of money... Which is a very wrong assumption... So to the Millionaires in the house, do not assume that the Visa Officer seeing millions in your account will automatically give you Visa cos you have money.. You must do a break down of the availability of the funds for your study and also total commitment to your studies all through your stay in Canada.. Like I always say, Its one thing to have Billions in your account, its another thing to show and convince the Visa Officer that the said Billions will be available and totally committed to your studies... This is Canada study Visa Application and not UK study application.. Peace bola01234: Sir kindly explain what you mean Untill when the applicant did the right thing with the 30m |
