Sorry to ask, but how old are you... 2. How many years study gap do you have.. 3. When last did you attend an Institution before now? 4. How related is ur Previous study to ur proposed study? 5. Are you self sponsored or being sponsored by ur husband or a 3rd party.. 6. While away, did you show proof of finances that ur 2 year old child will be very comfoetable... Am not a VO, but answer this questions for us to have a clue before ur GCMS notes drops.. Peace Obehi44: Yes got refused 3rd time with this same generic reasons for late August - September. First time personal assets and finance status. : increased money in account and added property.
2nd time Purpose of visit : wrote a 'banging SOP 2pages and LOE 3pages with the help of some grate men here. And it took about 3weeks of consistent writing, adding and subtracting. As nothing to say again or they didn't even check the applications for this Sept at all, they now start dashing these three reasons.
Travel history: has nothing to do with a student besides my passport is not even empty. Ties: LOL... I am married have a 2yrs old child, personal landed property, family landed properties..... I am not going with my child or spouse. Make I tell dem say Na my papa get National Stadium? Lol Employment: Good government job with good pay, leave letter, reference letter from boss, job waiting for me, etc. Sept 3rd - Sept 18th. If you ask me what happened I will say nothing happened that they didn't even check the app.
Anyway, I de vex and they will meet me in Court. |

This is my candid advise to you, Order for the GCMS notes of ur 3 aplications that were refused, I am pretty sure there is somwthing you have not really tackled that will be repeated in those notes. And to the bolded, if you are thinking of taking them to court for Judicial review, my sister that isnt a good move. Except you have the money, time, energy and patience, then u can go ahead with ur judicial review. If not, please order for ur 3 applications GCMS notes, get what is wrong, tackle it and re-apply... I want to believe the VOs in the Nairobi embassy ain't Kenya's though.. They are actually Canadians. So this ur post doesnt relate... Nairobi embassy is in charge of 90% Study permit be it online or paper for most African countries... And I think Lagos handles few... Peace Francology41: I would have preferred Canada to contract this Nigeria visa processing to a European country. I Just believe other African countries hate Nigerians more. |

Did ur Eligibility review start before the refusal? Did u do upfront medicals and was it passed ? Answer this 2 questions so we know in a way how dis Nairobi Demons operate... Meanwhile order for ur GCMS note and re-fire.. Peace DiamondFM: Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your travel history. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation. You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee. Sincerely, High Commission of Canada Visa Section P.O. Box 1013 00621 - Nairobi Kenya
Is like the Nairobi VOs program their system on auto refusal for these three reasons most especially. Applied 29th August refusal dropped on the 26th of September |

Online applicants do not do Biometrics immediately, while paper applicants do theirs immediately... Peace Alkidam: Hello house, i submitted my application yesterday at the visa office at manor hall in lekki. While i did my biometric yesterday as well. My question is i have been seeing different people on this thread saying they got a biometric request after 3 days or one week. Please house is it that i will do another biometric or. You are very lucky the almighty purpose of visit is nt part of ur refusal reasons, which makes it easy for you to tackle the reasons without GCMS and re-apply.. But I will advise u still order for ur GCMS note tho cos am sure there is one simple thing the VO would have used against ur approval, and u can actually knw dt simple thing with ur GCMS note.. You can actually re-apply without the GCMS note cos ur refusal reasons are very easy to tackle, forget travel history, whilst u should be working in his ur Family ties... Wish u goodluck... Peace Sumam: Hello, Aug 3rd applicant, bvl dropped sept 26th and refusal letter dropped same day.
Reasons- travel history and family ties in Canada and country of residence.
Explained in my sop that am married with kids But am going to study , husband and kids will be here, husband will take care of the kids while am away with the help of my mum and sister included their names. Documents submitted Tuition deposit of 5,000 Letter from place of work SOA -19m Acceptance letter Consent letter from hubby Birth cert Birth cert of kids who are American citizens Visa page for Uk-10yrs visa Sch cert Msc marketing cert
I applied to do another masters in global mgt form royal roads university
I want to reapply but a friend advised not to order for gcms but reapply early cos sch starts in Jan 2020. That I should add to the tuition deposit or probably pay up for one year, include all previous data pages and visas .then someone in Canada writes as a guarantor for me that am a genuine student and includes his Canadian data page.
Me frank and other gurus pls advise.
Am a newbie that has been observing for a while.
Thank you |

As at late last year and early dis year, online applications have been getting more approval, that was before the Nairobi demons took over tho.. To ur second Question, I assume Nairobi is the main office for Study permit especially applicants from Nigeria.. If you have been seeing the refusals letters of applicants here, be it Paper or onlin. U will discover that Nairobi has been the one in charge of 90% of applications.. That's d reason for the increase in refusals cos Nairobi VOS dnt have joy for Nigeria applicants... Peace Sumam: Hello guys, I want to find out if paper application is better than online in terms of positive response
Also does paper application go to nairobi as well
Thank you for your response |

If u are very familiar with this thread, u would have seen cases were peeps with High Cgpa going for PGD/C were refused simply cos the VO wasn't expecting that move by the applicant and also those applicants were not able to convince the VO the reason why they are going for a PGD instead of Masters despite their high Cgpa.. In the case of ur friend , I assume he did justice in convincing the VO why he went for a PGD instead of a Masters program... Such cases as ur friend happens very rarely... Am also sure he didn't put his Masters from Nigeria in his application, if not he would have been refused outrightly.... I also wanna assume his app wasn't treated by the Nairobi demons, dem for don refuse am cos those niggas got no joy.. So let's thank God for ur friend oo brother, his kinda approval happens in rare occasions... Peace Francology41: I don't think that matters, my friend with masters degree from Nigeria (has 4.48 CGPA undergrad) applied for conestoga collage. Got visa. He graduated this year. |

Lemme add to Justmellow's reply to ur Query... Firstly, you need to really work on ur SOP cos according to ur GCMS, it was poorly written, U can check up the guidelines for an SOP on the first page of this part or previous part.. Also work on ur home ties, u failed to convince the VO of ur establishment in ur home country i.e they do not see how the program you chose will benefit u on ur return to ur home country.. (You failed to convince them in this area too).. So my advice is that do not rush to re-apply, really take ur time and do ur research on how u can write a convincing SOP, and when u are done, u can send to any of the GURUS to vet for you... Good luck.. Peace Sophiesteve: Hy guys, Pls I need your help oh guru’s in the house. GCMS note just drop and I really do not understand what exactly the VO is talking about. E be like Spanish. This is stale news, even tho its very true.. At least I have known of this some 2, 3 years ago and we have seen quite a number of peeps getting approved.. If I can remember vividly, there was a time on this thread(I thin Part 15) where we had close to 10 Approvals in a week. Its just unfortunate that this is a refusal season for most peeps, no tension house, approvals will start coming in by God's grace.. For those that were refused re-fire, u will surely get it.. Peace Phatkings: A friend of mine just told the that they have discovered most Nigeria student use student visa as an avenue to seek asylum in their country that's the high refusal rate for Nigerians be it college or university that it only takes the grace of God to scale through.... Sorry about ur refusal. Meanwhile What date in September did u apply, and did ur Eligibility review start before u got refused? Peace YOUNGJOHN05: Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada.

Peace. Dexty10: I am having issues with my medical result. I submitted my application online on August 2 and did Biometrics on August 6. I did the test at IOM on September 3rd, upfront. And I was given an e Medical Information sheet which I was told to upload once the embassy notify me to go on with the medical test. On request, IOM sent me my result last week and it's alright. My curious self called them this morning because there's no evidence on my visa application that I've passed the medical. The IOM correspondent said I might be the one delaying myself as I'm supposed to have uploaded the e Medical information I was given. And that they already sent it to IRCC. By the way, I've not been told to do the medical test. But there's no where to upload any document and there's still no cue that I did and passed the test. Looks like I'm missing something. |
