AImiron:Which part of my comment did you have a problem with? The part where I said it doesn't matter how you try to pull Messi down, he will always go up or the part where I compared him to Merlin the magician or the part where I named the League after him "Messi League Soccer". With your comment, I don't want to believe you are a product of failed parenting or a broken home but rather someone frustrated by the present economic hardship which to me is totally understand. Please don't raise your kids to be bitter this way, you know they say "It's more honorable to keep quiet and be presumed a fool rather than open your mouth to remove all doubts" Please enjoy your Sunday and have a nice week ahead. |
Messi is like a short skirt, even if you try to pull it down, it will always go up. Only Merlin of Camelot comes close to this magic. Welcome to Messi League Soccer (MLS) |
I know Osun people are doing well in so many areas of human endeavour but I doubt if they like sport in that state. Never heard of any sport bigwig from there or any team in the NPFL as well. Shine on girl... Basketballerrrr |

The west will not rest in tainting the image of this precious continent. So the Coach will decide to flirt with a player in training in the presence of about 22 other players, coaching staff and arrays of camera guys taking continuous shots at every minute? Nonsense!! They should not carry their propaganda to Nigeria camp, victory against England is a must. |

Oftentimes we wonder if any good thing can come out of Nazareth just like that young man asked in the Christian book, yes it can! While many condemn military takeover tagging it the worst form of government, let's not forget what Thomas Sankara did in Burkina Faso. Never in the history of any under-developed country in Africa was such transformation ever recorded in less than five years. Thomas swept the street of Ouagadougou so well that the host of heaven walked past and said"Here lived a man".While the concept of democracy is noteworthy,we must come to the realization that democracy isn't meant for every country be it small or big. If Nigeriens are so pleased with this military government and supports this new General in town to be the Mel Gibson of this Patriot movie, then so be it. |
He bite the fingers that fed him and burnt all bridges in his home base. Sighs!!! |
It's clearly a case of AI gone wrong. |
Not of him that runneth!! |

Nothing lasts forever, for these sins I seek repentance. Shots fired, another gone, I feel that man's pain - Rick Ross |

We should stop our realiance on their so called foreign reimbursement irrespective of our financial austerity and economic entanglement. Many at times, these Greek gifts of theirs is just a scheme to lure us into a Darvaza Gas Crater-like hole with no chances of survival just as it is in Turkmenistan. Every World Cup ,doesn't matter if it is the youth tournament or at senior level, one can easily mistake the French national team lineup for the Les Etalons from Ouagadougou or the Harambee stars from the Mount Kenya side. |
An outsider reading this would have said to himself "Behold a man clean like the Pantogonia water in Chile resigning to protect his moral rectitude" They won't know it is just pocket interest gone wrong as usual. As for Gandollar, who could have thought an Amethyst would easily transform to an Opal at such ease. Just the other day his reputation was getting besmirched in abyss and now a poster boy of the Broom's party. A corruptive purgatory cleansing!! |

Do they still make them like Soyinka anymore? No, I strongly doubt it. Look him, a moving train of unparalleled wisdom transiting knowledge on the rail of justice. A distinguished by all standard; sworn, proven and coveted eternally. Strands of grey hairs oozing longevity like pyrotechnics fireworks, who else crossed the mediterranean without a Moses rod just to ink his name on those high mountains in Sverige with gel pens and poetic overtones. 1986? Yes, you guessed right!! Let us all build for him a castle of gold surrounded with alexandrite, emerald, sapphire and ruby. On his crown? Let there be measures of the precious Kohinoor. He came to us from the rock city and now his watch is preseverd forever. |

I wonder how much you need to earn to have a decent three square meal in present day Nigeria. Back in Chinua Achebe days, things were falling apart and the centre couldn't hold it but right now, the things oo, the apart ooo, the falling ooo even the centre join everything don scatter like that Fireboy hit song |
How true? How many ministerial candidates has ever failed DSS Screening. Is it not just a case of see and sign? If Pantami could have a soft landing with his bucketloads of pre -politics attrocities and religious lynch-tivities, then who shouldn't? |
"Dear God, Let NEPA bring light " That prayer that year, Smiles!! |
That's not true. I read the manifestos of the three top presidential candidates. Obi's manifesto is tittled "It is possible:Our pact with Nigerians" It is around 72 pages and I still have a copy of it. |
