My wife gave birth 2 months ago. She had resumed her duty in the bedroom 3 weeks ago but she doesn't want me to suck her breast saying that I should wait after she stopped exclusively breastfeeding the baby she will be 6 months. I love to suck breast and I can't wait until the baby is 6 months she said I am overeating which I am not.

Tell me if she is exaggerating or am overeating? Would love to hear from married women and men in the house ?

Then after 2 weeks , one lady called me saying she is from Oppo and she heard of my situation. And that she doesn't know if the POINTEX SHOPRITE I bought the phone from will agree to collect it back..

So stupid ,so so stupid .this lady was from so called Oppo head office ooo...

Collecting back their phone is now a major issue for them ..
They make all type of excuses so as not to collect it back .. after putting the wrong information online about the junk phones they sell in Nigeria !

They are criminals ...

Like I have said from day one .. Oppo Nigeria is a scam merchandise brand .

After complaining on tweeter to the Oppo intl.. they directed to the local branch at ogba and sent me their email to reach them.

I reached them on Instagram, they sent me a mail to send the imiei of the phone and my phone number .
I did and they promised to get back to me after 2 working days .

Over a week passed ,and then on that same email thread , one funny dude cane back again and was saying ,"why haven't you sent the imei and phone numbers we asked for " > when right above the email was my last message containing those vital information..

I didn't even answer him..

I think after cheating and deceiving you , they now go a step further to harvest the vital information of your phone , so that they can monitor you and your activities ..

I really hate Oppo walahii

garugaru:
i do not think the op asked the right questions when he was buying the phone, oppo's naming scheme is pretty confusing and it is probably intentional. the op should have made sure that the rep confirmed the chipset on the phone before buying. the op probably just googled the phone and made his order based on that information which is obviously wrong. the phone the op wants is called oppo reno 8 5g, the phone he bought is oppo reno 8, most websites call the phone oppo reno 8 but display the spec of oppo reno 8 5g. technically it is no oppo's fault that he ordered the wrong phone but in a sane society he should be able to return the phone, i guess our society isn't a sane one.

Bro no be lie.. you know how this system works ..
It's rigged across all the chains of supply and sale..

The Oppo retail stores are in the know.. I say this because of how the sales girl suddenly started ranting like a Tout. I wouldn't speak with her further, because she is just a sales girl. And I came to understand that there is the commission these girls receive after selling a phone ..

So she is also out there to sustain the scam by securing her cut in Every item sold , knowing fully well it's an almost fake version ..

If Oppo is serious and focused , they should be up there competing with iPhone and Samsung in Nigeria ,

Because they should be up there anyway..

If you are certain that is the case, you have valid case for a return, but according to gsmarean listed specs, the 4g model is exactly the same shape as the 5g model, but the specs are completely different, even the camera is different,
So it's either you checked the specs on a wrong site and ordered the 4g model or you wia lied to as you claim,if you were lied to,you have all right to return the phone asap, the longer it spends with you,the lesser your chances.
Infact you should have returned it the very day you noticed.
yes I'm not in town .. will be there soon .as I return

Ogbon lo pa sodiq grin

You brought that phone for 280k.

You could have gotten a better specd Xiaomi device for less, and have change to spare for Xmas,
Better in all depts,camera,processor,screen,charging

The 280k is not the issue here ..

but I didn't get what I paid for .. that's the bottom line . Maybe I can afford the 280k freely.

But what about other Nigerians who cannot afford it and maybe bought with their last card ?

Oh well they advertised the oppo as a DIMENSITY 1300.. that chipset is cool and can compete anywhere .

But it was all lies .. it carried a Snapdragon 680..

And just to let you know that the Reno 8 is just a repackaged Reno 7.. not a single difference ...they just changed the casing and wrote 8 for a higher price

This is a very crucial point.
The specification on the carton.

GOOD QUESTION.. nothing is written on the carton. They try to conceal and deceive to the uttermost.. complete disinformation campaign to coerse both the wise and ignorant

Na the matter be that ..

They even sent the real Reno 8 with DIMENSITY 1300 to vloggers to push on their YouTube channels , but when it was time to sell to Nigerians , they brought in the knocked down version with the Snapdragon 680 chipset

Sorry for the awful experience. Keep up with the negative ratings and accept a refund if they reach out to you. The Oppo Reno 8 4G is crap for 2022/2023 expectations.

Yes the phone is still preserved .. I had to place a screen guard on the phone , to keep it clean and super new.. because I will eventually tender it in court as the case progresses ..

Care to share evidence? Oppo has devices that run on Snapdragon 680 but the Reno 8 is certainly not one of them

Update: Oppo Nigeria is guilty of deceptive marketing. I checked their website and saw the SD 680 chipset on their specs page.
https://www.oppo.com/ng/smartphones/series-reno/reno8/specs/

Ladies and gentlemen, the model number CPH2461 is actually for the Oppo Reno 8 4G.

The model number for Oppo Reno 8 5G is CPH2359.

I am making plans to take them to court soon..

I will also include the pointex phone retail mall at ShopRite ikeja and Oppo as defendants .. this is open day 419 and robbery by big tech. They have my phone numbers ,I have already previously taken it up with them..

Post photos to back up claims so that others can learn.

Oppo are notorious for shipping substandard phones to Nigeria and Africa as a whole. Africa is literally a dump site for crappy phones. That 280k can easily get you a superior Samsung or even a rugged Xiaomi phone.

Next time, try getting the accurate specs from the sales rep or even the phone carton before taking it home.

That's the screenshot there ..

Oh you said sales rep? The sale reps are conmen and conwomen.. they too are in the Oppo organised Crime network..

They are all cheats and thieves .. after I made this discovery , the con sales girl immediately started saying oga you will get a refund , you will not get a refund .. she kept repeating it and wanted to even start a quarrel.. this is the Sales girl at Oppo pointex section at ShopRite ..

They are all 419 people .. be warned of them .

Here is the shitty sales reps number +234 810 436 4161.

I was just laughing at her as she was ringing "you will not get a refund ", .. Taking like the touts around ikeja along..

I reminded her that- hey hey , I bought this phone at a shop ,pointex in ShopRite ikeja .. so she should shut her mouth and quit ranting like a street trap..

You see.. that is why I said ,Oppo Nigeria is a scam. They sell downgraded phone for flagship prices in Nigeria ..

This is ripping and organised Crime.. one of my friends made this same observation recently ..

Funny enough , other phone brands with same ram 8gb and ROM 256gb and comes in a higher better performance chipset don't even sell for 300k ..

So what is Oppo trying to achieve ? Rip off?

Never trust a vendor. this same vendors sometimes change the charging points to weaker ones so they can put it in other phones. This retailer do the fix phones or sell parts

They are on the same level as SLOT NIG LTD. They are big time players in this sector and they get supplied - I think- directly from the phone manufacturers themselves.

They work with them.hand in hand
