Banging your wife daily should not necessarily translate into more babies. Family planning is a sensitive issue in Nigeria that politicians avoid cos it upset the some section of the population and that might be end of their political career. Naija politician will avoid the topic of family planning just like a Republican will avoid gun control like plague... Our reproductive rate is definitely to make the control a fail State soon if we do not slow down and introduce what works for the Chinese.

A husband doesn’t bang his wife he procreates with his wife. It is like saying that your father bang your mother to produce you hence you have grown up vulgar and crude.

[quote author=cooltola post=114067474]Back in the olden days of our great and grandparents, it was very common for a woman to have at least 5 children. 5 was small back then, so many Nigerians back then grew up with having 4 or more siblings. So the behaviors just continue today, what Mrs B saw her mother do is what she mostly likely to do. Not every person believe in family planning or spacing. The government is suppose to educate and encourage family planning[/quot

In some countries our grandparents had 15, 16 children. We had lots of aunts, uncles and cousin support.

More reason couples has to discuss this over before marriage...but poor men loves sex and give birth to babies like dogs, and they keep asking God the rhetorical question "why is my own different"

so the children God bless them with are according to you are dogs. if a white person were to say Africans breed like dogs you will be angry.

I know a couple like that too as per religious tins. They have about 6 now. I just wonder when I see this woman...always pregnant. Husband is a keke rider. I guess they will keep reproducing till they she reaches menopause because it seems their faith is against family planning.

There is poverty and less learned people all over the world, and there will always be. Go do your research even tiny countries with small population have poverty.

Birth control is a choice and some of these pills and injection caused obesity and other side effect in some women. Let people have choice how and when to have children. Stop the decimation against married couples who live by their religious faith.

It also encourages a high level of innovation and invention as people try to look for survival in a competitive environment.

Can you please be specific on what similar ideology, culture and system of government have to do with understudying power generation and educational development?

The last time I checked, Rwanda and Ghana are still in baby steps and incomparable to Egypt. Shouldn't we at least start with countries with functional examples of what we want? And isn't Egypt the closest within reach (save for SA)?

I've read some comments asking how he could study those in 3 days, really? So he's supposed to take up a residency in Egypt for years to have a meaningful discussion about the policy choices and how the country garnered the policitical will and made sacrifices to better their country?

Common guys, such trips is not to learn the mechanics. He needs to have discussions and see the paths they followed, how much it cost them, timelines, companies involved, etc.

Some of you Nigerians and una type of education amaze me sha!

don't be fooled a lot of them making such statement are not Nigerians. Do you know how many immigrants are living in Nigeria, writing and passing information and videos of all things bad about Nigeria to their country people.

in fact Nigeria is feeding a lot of them, so they spread bad news to get views.

their vloggers use Nigeria to grow their channel. if you know you know.

Nigeria needs a president who loves the country Nigeria. not one of the political candidates have mentioned how they intend to unite Nigeria. and the love they have for Nigeria as a nation. your country is like your family who you love and want to do well.

It might not be a bad idea if this man, Paul Thomas Arkwright shuts his face off...I completely agree with Sowore.
@ Peter Obi: The man just jumped from PDP to a party (LP) that doesn't have a structure. There is a governorship election taking place on Saturday in Ekiti, and nobody is really campaigning for Peter Obi's new party. Peter Obi is yet to visit any state in Nigeria as a new LP champion, but expects to be elected as the next president. Peter Obi didn't even bother to visit Owo, Ondo state after the church attack, I guess Owo is not an Igbo town....But I can assure you that Ondo people will never forget him.

The election is taking place in less than 9 months and this is the time Peter Obi chose to go to Egypt to understudy power sector...He didn't bother to take this trip a year ago or 6 months ago. But now that the fire is burning is the right time for him to be missing...what a confused candidate. On the other hand, Jagaban is busy visiting and campaigning like there is no tomorrow. It is amazing how many people still can't understand why Jagaban is so successful; there is no bread for a lazy man.

I personally think that Peter Obi isn't ready to lead this nation...Therefore, it is OK for him to also visit Morocco and Madagascar. Nigeria needs a president that is ready to take the bull by the horns today.

Learning from other countries who have broken similar challenges being presently faced by Nigeria.

What does Nigeria have to learn from Egypt that is far ahead of us in all ramifications. We do not share similar ideology, culture and system of government.

We could as well learn from America, Germany or the United kingdom if we desperate to start from the top, which will still be of no use.

Rwanda and Ghana are fastest growing economies who happen to just be coming out of the shackles and challenges being presently faced by Nigeria, and such destination would have been worthwhile as their are still evident developmental tracts which are visible and presently working for them.

If you must import ideas, you have to import from where best fits your scenario. Not importing ideas from Alaska to West Africa.

A Chinese man used karate to break the spinal cord of a Nigerian worker over an argument of something. Las Las, NGO got the paralysed man a compensation of 2 or 3 millions naira.

The Chinese that pregnant Ed a young cleaner to his house. Was trying to get her to abort the baby as per his wife would be coming to Nigeria soon. It was in the media and the case was a criminal case but nothing more.

The Chinese man who assisted in sending a mother of 4 to omar and when the case came to light, he was arrested but end of story when the paid the woman trafficked her 6months agreed salary.

What of the Chinese man who ran over a lawma worker in lagos. Na shout and after nothing.
