Buhari will come and must prove who are the real Boko Haram. All of you will be shamed, by the grace of God. |

From your post you seem to me like a ignoramus with little or no knowledge of Nigerian politico Hope you won't be caught insulting Tinubu as the cause of your people's problem since you inferred he has no hand in what happened in Alaigbo. |

Oklander: Did you notice that almost all those hailing and praising this Fayose thug in this thread are neither from the state nor even south west? smh...Fayose has shown that he is totally against the central government, I wonder how he would perform without opposition within to keep in check, he would just do whatever he likes within the state and nothing would happen, Ekiti people has entered one chance, except Buhari principles get hold of the thug. We would see how far this rigging machine could go. |

Ikengawo: LOL which igbo contested for governor of Lagos? Go and speak to the Igbo ministers of our great state before opening your halitosis infected cavity Agbaje is Igbo now, from Ihiala local government, Alaigbo state. Or, has he become an orphan simply because he lost an election? |
Politics › Re: Malcolmx's Plan For An Igbo Governor Of Lagos State! by MalcoImX(op): 1:11am On Apr 12, 2015 |
dunkem21: I want to really know the ratio of Igbos' to Yorubas' in Lagos with the election results.
Then we will know how many percent of Lagos population going to the lagoon. There are 250 tribes in Nigeria. Yoruba will take about 80% of Lagos, leaving others (249 tribes) with about 20%. Do the maths and come up with the figure. But dunkem, I really laugh at your people's fear. Oba Akiolu just used a cultural metaphor to aristocratically whip you, and you scampered and nearly got into the lagoon by yourself. Next time if an Oba speaks, ask Yoruba man to translate it for you before you start shaking. Kpele OK. |

Ikengawo: You're an imbeccible. So you'll throw your ancestral legacy in the genetic trash to prevent Nairaland threads? kai Mazi Moses Ikengawo crying in Orubebe Kingdom. Were you not here, taunting political scientists that you've won some seats and are on the way to clinching the Lagos governorship. It took only a lose for this election to show us who the false democrats are. Don't worry. Oba Akiolu is not pushing you or anybody into the lagoon. So relax and enjoy Lagos, - the foreign territory you so cherish that you're willing to exchange for Alaigbo. |

meforyou1: So every Yoruba is a lagosian. You rubs people, u guys are too dumb and too slow. It's easier for Yoruba from Ondo or Oyo to be considered in Lagos than a non-Yoruba. Most governors of Kano state, for example, are from other northern states. The common thing is they are considered Hausa and most likely were born in Kano. I don't know what obtains in Igbo land, but for an outsider to be a governor in Hausa land or Yorubaland, you must be identified fully with the people there. |

Defcon1: For starters, Jimi Agbaje is not lgbo Secondly, the positions occupied by lgbos, as you alluded to, were never forcefully taken by the lgbos. The lgbos occupying said positions were either appointed, as you mentioned, or duly elected. So what's the fuss?? If the natives don't like that trend, they should vote them out, simple. I am sure that the Lagos lgbos that won seats in the house of representatives were voted for by some of the natives which helped them win. So maybe from the next dispensation the natives should stop voting or appointing lgbos to political offices if that makes them feel better or less threatened. l am just tired of this needless bickering. There has never been a problem except when the settlers view their win as triumph over the natives. It shouldn't be viewed as such, as you said even natives might have helped in their success. |

meccuno: since most guys don't want to split the country then let's have a regional govt na.....everybody find ur level.....@ least the igbos u loathe so much would give you the available space u require.....true federalism.....manage ur resources for ur people and we manage our resources.....@ least we go fit free una Nobody stops anybody from progressing. But you don't come into somebody's land and let yourself be perceived as trying to takeover everything. Dangote is said to be the richest black man alive, and is mostly based in Yorubaland. I bet you you won't catch Dangote saying 'Lagos is a no man's land.' He won't do it. He may consider himself a Lagosian, but knows it belongs to somebody, – a Yoruba man. A Yoruba man from Ondo or Ogun has a better chance of becoming a governor there than him, and he's wise to accept that. |
