Now that the Igbo is at the receiving end they've come to their aid. That's how they saved baby(yosi)mama and biafrangirl when they tried to ridicule Buhari and his wife. Anybody who starts any wahala should be ready to suffer the consequences of the troubles he created. |
ejibaba:You still have not jettisoned what destroyed the PDP. |
tit:You got problem with comprehension or what? |
cyberguy72:What do you mean lies and propaganda? Who looks more like a liar between APC and PDP? |
Sunnybobo3:The voice of Jacob, ....... |
PDP won't just go quietly. They should know that their anyhow era is gone, forever. |
Within the last hour, we received a very disturbing news that Alhaji Hamad Makama, the Returning Electoral Commissioner for Taraba state, is refusing to release the Taraba South election results. He is alleged to have collected N1billion bribe from Abuja, with a view to manipulating the results in favour of PDP, thus denying Senator Aisha Al-Hassan her mandate as the duly elected Executive Governor of the state. Based on results collated by agents and independent observers alike, everybody knows that Senator Aisha Al-Hassan is the duly elected Executive Governor of Taraba state. No amount of bribery and delay tactic by the Jonathan cabal can deny Senator Aisha her historic victory, and the electorates’ mandate. Alhaji Hamad Makama, be informed that your name is already in file. Your action is considered a war crime by legal experts. We will therefore leave no stone unturned in making sure that you show up at the ICC! We urge all law abiding Nigerians, especially the good people of Taraba to remain on vigil until this treacherous gangster releases the full results as recorded in every Polling Unit in the state. May God save Nigeria and Nigerians. Ameen. Dr. Idris Ahmed. https://twitter.com/CUPS_nigeria | http://newsrescue.com/alert-attempt-to-pervert-female-candidates-victory-in-taraba-gubernatotial/

fallout87:Add the masses too. |
ajalaolanr:True. Maybe the PDP saw that, hence their kicks against it. |
omenka:Yes, true that. From now on we'll be having elections that are truly representative. |
Sunnybobo3:Military takeover? Interim government? 6 weeks BH war? Buhari doesn't have 'certificate'? Buhari, Tinubu, Osinbajo documentaries? Buhari's cancer? Capital of Nigeria and Central Bank moving to Lagos? Military intimidation of APC bigwigs? Asari, Clark, & Co.? OPC? MASSOB? Chatam House anti-Buhari protests? There's no way Buhari will rule this country - Okupe? Card reader rejection? etc. etc. There's nothing they didn't try. It's just that the fight is bigger than them. Thank God we have people like OBJ, Falana, Shehu Sani, Solomon Dalung, the progressive press, the Nairaland progressives, and well-meaning Nigerians hellbent on changing a system that is running the country aground. |
Gabrielsylar:You don't know about PDP pre-card readers. Gbam!!!!! |
Rose2014:And you believed in this age that there's an Oba whose office is regulated under the constitution that can herd people and push them into a water. Better believe it, the lagoon is a cultural reference applicable to anybody (not just Igbo) seen to be working against the interest of Eko. Do you believe this view also? The general belief in the north was that nobody hated them like Ojukwu, but it's on record that he had a child with a northern woman, and even left an inheritance for the child. Life is discovery. We "may" all be wrong, you know. |
hucienda:President Jonathan hasn't set any precedent. There's a Nigerian adage which says, 'By turning a bigger fight into a joke/play, you may save your life.' What have they not done to turn their fortunes around? Some fights are better turned into a joke, my man! |
teemanbastos:Not surprising? Maybe in the new dispensation! In the old PDP, 20,000 people may vote and a 'winner' may emerge with 150,000 votes. |
Rose2014:The Sovereign may here and there use a little whip to keep people in line. But largely it was a cordial gathering with laughs and even singing. | Honestly, we always fall by literally translating what shouldn't have been. You know the Buhari's, 'Dogs and baboons soaked in blood' is still viewed by many to mean to shed blood, while in all sincerity it only means "a hotly contested race." If we don't understand other people's tradition and ways, it's better to ask them. My inability to understand, for example, the Igbo personality always makes me to have an open space, though I may argue insistingly, in the hope that the other view may be seen. |
Honestly I never gave El-Rufai a chance. The PDP is known for declaring whoever they want as the winner. What has changed for the PDP? |
The reference to the lagoon swallowing all those working against the interest of Lagos is a cultural thing. It shouldn't be taken literally as somebody trying to deny others life. The Obas and people of Lagos have used and will continue to use the phrase. So, why is it an issue when the Oba reminded the Igbos of the cultural ethos and metaphors of Lagos. |
