ngadaAwo:But what would they gain if they do that? |
victorvezx:And the smart alec would continue to fool his gullible listeners. Honestly, one has to give it to Kanu when it comes to working on the minds of his followers. He knows his audience and he knows what he had to do to keep them in line. That's what sets him apart from the FFKs and the Omokris. He is very smart, intelligent and a professional propagandist. The trick is to never give enough space to start to think rationally, and to continue dishing out the conjectures that enough doubt is created. Read my post here and you'll understand more his modus operandi. https://www.nairaland.com/4845524/thread-expose-shenanigans-nnamdi-kanu |
ngadaAwo:It they can't do it to their own Queen, of what benefit would it be for them to do it to Buhari? |
The same treatment given to Fayoshe, FFK and Omokri is what's being dole out to the iPoBics and their minions. Why would they waste their time on nonentities begging for recognition? |

Firefire:Yes, that aptly describes PDP.

richidinho:Or rather, what would you and Wendell Simlin tell the thousands of organizations that use similar Next Level logo designs? Who among these users can claim the concept and design for its sole use? |

What decides whether there's a copyright infringement on logos and similar items The brouhaha caused by the APC logo as with many things in Nigeria seems to be guided by political differences rather than insights into the issues. These are some facts I've found out about logos as it relates to copyright and infringement. 1. Numerals, letters, names, proverbs, idioms, maxims, phrases (like Level Up, Strike Through, Next Level) and the like cannot be copyrighted 2. Colour, unless arranged in some special/complicated ways cannot be copyrighted; but chemicals combined to make special products can be patented. 3. In the case of logos and designs, copyright violations won't hold if they can be distinguished when placed side by side, for e.g. if logo B doesn't look like a newer version of logo A. You run the risks of infringement here if the differences are not so significant. 4. That there is clearly an attempt to mislead the public in the conception and use of the logo. Was any designer aware of the other logo or is the design done deliberately to cause confusion, sabotage or misinform audiences, markets and the general public; as it relates to those with similar items, designs and identifiers? 5. Are the similar logos/designs competing in the same markets or for the same audience. These should be taken into consideration before copyright violations are established. Surely, APC's Next Level logo have some similarities with Rex's and many other outfits, but with differences in the X's elongation in the APC's and the colours. Having said this, the questions now should be: Were there copyright violations of Rex's and other organizations using similar items? Are there grounds for legal actions and possibilities of remediation and restitution, which can be established on the basis of similarities alone? https://graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/84536/our-companys-new-logo-looks-similar-to-another-logo-will-this-be-a-problem-in https://www.hanselman.com/blog/ThereIsOnlyOneCloudIconInTheEntireUniverse.aspx https://graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/43290/copyright-of-a-set-of-colors/58545#58545 1. and 2. MadamExcellency:When you hear Nigerians crying on this matter, they are not chasing shadows. They are speaking from experience. Diversifying petroleum based economy is not what they are against. What they are really afraid and against, honestly, is diversifying the NNPC to his and cronies pockets, as it happened with other corporations in the past. And, don't ever think it's 90% that would go. It's 100% that is going. |
Voted for PMB/VPYO Meanwhile, waiting for 29th Nov. 2018, the planned date for Atiku to travel to USA.
|
dokie:In that case, you shouldn't be on politics. You should form a morality club and monitor the contributions of members. How would APC for e.g., seeking contributions for its presidential campaigns sort out the millions of contributions given by members and non-members of the party, How would you, if you were in charge of that know the source of my income, as the card below showed I contributed too?

Smile4daddy:He nearly got one on us with that securing visa story. He has started putting doubt on us until this gaffe by Gbenga Daniel. |
Yopcity:Is that the answer to why Atiku will not travel to America? |
Habeyy: Habeyy:What more could one add when an insider says this. |
Now that 29th Nov. is around the corner, they've begun to shift the goalposts. You cannot rule this country by these pedestrian lies. This only goes to show that no visa was ever granted from the beginning.

Former governor of Ogun state, Gbenga Daniel has said the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, told him in confidence that despite his securing Visa for the United State of America, he has no intention of going there yet. He disclosed this yesterday while appearing on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics, in Lagos. Recall that Daniel, who is the Director-General of Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation, had previously said his principal had received signals from the US embassy to come and pick a visa to the country after years of denying the erstwhile Vice President access into the country. Speaking again on Atiku’s visa palaver, he said the PDP presidential candidate made it clear to him that his priority is to face and solve the problems of Nigeria rather than a trip to the US. He said: “Let me tell you, a number of people don’t know this man (Atiku). “He told me clearly ‘OGD (as Daniel is fondly called), go and get the visa but I am not going anywhere. I want to face the problems of this country. I want to solve the problem of Nigeria. When I finish what I want to do, if you think I have to travel, I will travel.’ “There are a lot of people who have become Presidents without going to America. But as soon as they became presidents, the other side {America) started inviting them,” he summarised. http://dailypost.ng/2018/11/19/2019-atiku-told-travelling-america-gbenga-daniel/ |
Whatever, but there will be no next looting for Omokri, FFK and Co. |
dokie:But does donating or not donating to a party make him not a kidnapper? |
Habeyy:You'll also agree then, that those in the PDP were all sinners. |
Ezebinaugwu:Was the jet coming in from foreign countries then? |
gameboyo:You too donate to APC, PDP or KOWA, you'll be thanked. |
@OP: Are you now satisfied that @atiku was what he was before joining and after leaving the APC? |
gentlegenius:You are not answering the question. Parties don't operate like that. A thief is free to be or not to be in whichever party he wants, and also free to leave anytime he wants. FFK, for e.g. was once in the APC and he went back to PDP. Whether corrupt or not, if he decides to come back to APC, nobody can do anything, even though the APC would prefer he stays in PDP. |
Does being in APC or snapping pictures with APC bigwigs make you not corrupt or change who you are? I want you to answer honestly. |
He can now mock but when they attack him he starts crying that the APC doesn't engage in issue based campaigns, or that the APC should show us their achievements instead of attacking us. |
haladadon:I want to presume that 99.9% of persons over 70 years are beset by ailments and are just managing themselves. So, such groups cannot be getting younger. They may manage well their conditions or recover from ailments, but getting younger is what you shouldn't say to them. To tell them they're getting younger I think will make them even angry. You'll be their man if you'll say things like: "Sir, how are you managing your body.: |

Buhari is just a name throughout the Muslim world. |
Nigeriabiafra80:Let us for the sake of satisfying the paganistic tendencies of Nneka Calistus Kanu (aka Nnamdi Kanu) that Buhari is dead. Thanks is given that it is not the sissy cowardly transgendered Nneka Calistus Kanu that killed him. Along with that, let us see whether sister Nneka Calistus Kanu would not die because Buhari is 'dead.' |
