The chants of "Sai Buhari" will continue to follow them wherever they go, except they stop mentioning the name of "Nigeria." |
PDP PRESIDENTIAL NORTHWEST ZONAL RALLY Let me begin by calling the register as I am watching it live. PDP Chairman Secondus, PDP candidate Atiku, Peter Obi, former President Jonathan and his former Vice Namadi Sambo, Senators Kwankwaso, Saraki, Speaker Dogara, Liyel Imoke, Governor DD Ishaku of Taraba, Kabiru Turaki, Sule Lamido, Walid Jubril, Shema, etc are all in attendance. But mark you, Makarfi and all the Southeast governors are absent. The MC is Dino. At the beginning, when Dino shouted Nigeria, there was mixed response; some shouted "sai Atiku" while some shouted "sai Buhari" as expected. To avoid further embarrassment, they started using trumpet sound whenever Nigeria is shouted to cover the response from the crowd. Kwankwaso ranted as usual. Then Namadi Sambo. Sambo avoided reciting Fatiha, he only pleaded with them to vote PDP. Then Jonathan. GEJ shouted Nigeria and they replied "sai Buhari with a mixed response covered by trumpet sound to reflect "sai Atiku". Dogara also made noise in both English and Hausa, his message was not clear. Like the guy is confused. Then Saraki. Saraki avoided reciting Qulhuwallahu. He spoke also in Hausa and English. Secondus then took over as party chairman. Secondus' speech is full of threats and incitements. He made mention that there will be war if Atiku is not returned winner. God forbid. What a conceding statement! They then handed over flags to their candidates. Obi wore dark glasses to avoid lying to people of Sokoto with open eyes. Atiku then took over. He affirmed that northwest is the capital of PDP that is why they are starting campaigns with Sokoto. There was mixed response when he tried to say Nigeria, of course some shouted 'sai Buhari'. Atiku said his origin is Sokoto, his grandparents were from Sokoto. I hate lying during the day Wallahi. He spoke in fulfulde. Again, Atiku mentioned that he is a farmer, a trader and a rich man. That he has participated in all deals and businesses to become rich (including...?) That also Buhari has only 150 cows but he has more than 1000 cows. Now we know the sponsors of Fulani herdsmen. It is interesting to let you know that I wasted my time trying to comprehend why I should consider Atiku and PDP serious to come back to ruling Nigeria. Non of them spoke about stopping or fighting corruption. They only mentioned hunger. That they will fight hunger they have created. I am tired. PDP secretary is currently speaking. What a waste of time! Never again. Better we move to the NEXT LEVEL. All I saw in that rally was yesterday we prayed and worked hard to escape. Auwal Mustapha Imam As shared on WhatsApp |
Yusuf54:Even sef, PDP go avoid saying "Nigeria," because those on ground say whenever they say "Nigeria." the crowd shouted back with "Sai Buhari." |
This man and Buhari. With all the controversies surrounding Obi's visit to Fr. Mbaka, it is a statement made about Buhari you'll launch upon to distract and focus the discourse to Buhari. Tell us Mbaka's troubles with Obi and Atiku. |
socialmediaman:We fought with you only to jump when victory was achieved. I pray I am wrong to infer that a lot of people were expecting to be remunerated. |
Correct guy who loves his community and the nation. Our support for PMB is as unshakeable as the rock of Gibraltar. In another development, the people of Sokoto have declared their total support for PMB even as Atiku rally was ongoing. I heard them saying over the VOA yesterday that Atiku should have his rallies, but it is PMB that they are going to vote. |
Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC ), Hon Abdullahi Adamu Candido, has called on his supporters not to vote for him, if they know they would not vote for President Muhammadu Buhari , in the 2019 general elections. Speaking when he unveiled ‘ Next Chapter ’, which is his campaign slogan for 2019 election yesterday, Candido noted that President Buhari has performed very well , in the past three and a half years , to deserve re- election in 2019. He maintained that the All Progressives Congress (APC ) - led administration , under President Buhari had achieved what no other past administrations in the country had achieved. The AMAC stated that the current hardship being experienced today in the country was not the handiwork if the present administration , but as a result of the 16 years of maladministration by the past government. Candido maintained that AMAC, under his leadership has worked hard , in the past two years to fulfill its promises, adding that it is time to open to the' Next Chapter ’ of its book in order to consolidate on the solid foundation it had laid for a more prosperous and lasting legacy in the council. “In fairness to our conscience and to the satisfaction of our electorate , we believe we have worked hard to fulfill our promises and it is time to open the NEXT CHAPTER of our book in order to consolidate on the solid foundation we have laid for a more prosperous and lasting legacy in the council.” He explained that the ‘ Next Chapter ’ project would be focusing on a more united and prosperous area council, through encouraging brotherhood between indigenes and other Nigerians to appreciate stronger ties and partnership, as well strengthening the already committee on national unity to foster cohesion and mutual understanding among residents. https://leadership.ng/2018/12/04/dont-vote-for-me-if-you-wont-vote-for-pmb-candido/ |
Cheaters. But why should they do that? |
omonaijiria:Hausa people don't entertain sister Nneka Calistus Kanu's delusions. Leave it to the little iPods, the FFKs, the Fayoses and the Oyedepos. |
Firefire:I am not the only one, I wish one of the millions who listened like me would respond to you and reset your brain. |
dalongjnr:I just finished listening to VOA and the locals in Sokoto are saying Atiku should come and do his rallies, but it's Buhari they are voting. |
I just listened to VOA and the locals are saying: 'Atiku should come and do his rallies, but it's Buhari we are voting.' |
selectedhero:Then they'll have to take thousands of organizations to court for using the Next Level phrase and designs that look similar to theirs. But APC has clarified that theirs is different. So no cause for alarm. |
omonaijiria:You are joking. You still don't know who Buhari is. GEJ, Atiku, Obi, Saraki, Dogara, Tambuwal, Kwankwaso, Ahmed Makarfi, Bafarawa, and all PDP bigwigs are in Sokoto and this is all they can pull, even with the rent-a-crowd. How I wish Buhari will go to Sokoto alone and you'll know Mohammed Ali is not Bash Ali. |
Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has described the recent “endorsement” by The Economist of London, of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, party, Muhammadu Buhari, in the coming election as scandalous and partisan. In one of its recent reports , The Economist of London had predicted that President Muhammadu Buhari will win next year’s election. However, in a statement by his Special Assistant on Public Communication , Mr. Phrank Shaibu, Atiku described “as a poorly-executed hatchet job, the prediction by The Economist of London, in which the magazine put on the garb of a partisan and made no pretenses to professionalism while predicting that President Muhammadu Buhari will win next year’s poll.” He said, on Monday, that “with the tacit endorsement of President Muhammadu Buhari for a second term, in its current edition, the erstwhile influential news magazine has hit a new low by throwing all pretenses to the wind to take up the job of presidential spokespersons.” “It is common knowledge that the Economist’s fortunes have taken a nosedive in recent months with its flip- flop on issues especially as it pertains the upcoming presidential election in Nigeria. But the magazine hit a new low in its current edition, ‘ The World in 2019,’ where it made projections of issues and events that will shape the year 2019 across many countries including Nigeria,” Shaibu said. Shaibu said, “even if the All Progressives Congress (APC) or President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokespersons had written that story, it could not have been so recklessly partisan, so undisguisedly biased and so devoid of any shred of professionalism.” According to him, “the so-called story which says, ‘the president, Muhammadu Buhari, will win re-election in February, as a new opposition coalition may collapse before the vote’ fails to meet the attributes of objectivity, balance and fairness.” The Atiku spokesperson said “it was scandalous that the magazine went ahead to predict a victory for the APC candidate even when it said a Buhari’s second coming portends disaster for Nigeria.” Shaibu said “it was sad that The Economist went on to endorse a failed president even when it admitted that ‘a Buhari’s second term would mean continuing political weakness, little prospect of progress in the fight against islamist insurgency in the north, nationalism in the oil producing Delta and secessionism in Biafra.” He said “it was equally strange that the same magazine whose Intelligence Unit predicted that PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will lead the new government come 2019 has now made a u-turn to endorse President Buhari even when his performance in office is now at all time low.” “But we hasten to say that with or without the endorsement of The Economist or any news medium for that matter, we will defeat Buhari fair and square,” he said. Shaibu said “on May 29, 2019 when Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is sworn in as the President of Nigeria, The Economist will have to look elsewhere for patronage, since there will be no more room for cash and carry forecasts, and fully-paid for endorsements.” He said that “the PDP Presidential Candidate was aware that when fake news materials are planted in big news outlets, they often help to lay the groundwork for rigging in elections.” Atiku, however, warned that members of the opposition party and their supporters will resist the rigging of next year’s elections. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/12/atiku-knocks-the-economist-says-endorsement-of-buhari-scandalous/ |
selectedhero:If you mean both engage in fake news, then it's not acceptable. But to do that with national security and the lives of security personnel is treasonable. |
Modarun:Modarun stop this bigotry here. |
He's just a Kanu-type. He's still pained by the loss of GEJ and the resultant disappearance of patronage and free money. Was he not the one who promised to open the gates of hell should Nigerians oppose the reelection of Jonathan? |
An online viral image posted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supposedly showing dead Nigerian soldiers killed by Boko Haram in the Metele village attack has been confirmed as fake and misleading. The said attack on the 157 Task Force Battalion of the Nigerian Army took place on Sunday, November 18, by the insurgents in the northeast region of the country . Concerning the tragedy, the Chief of Army staff, Tukur Buratai, on Wednesday, December 26, revealed that only 23 soldiers were killed and also put the number of troops wounded at 31. Although there are no official casualty figures until more than a week after the attack, some media outlets, including Reuters, reported that over 100 soldiers were killed. Reacting to the incident, the PDP shared on its official Twitter page a press statement accompanied with an image of President Muhammadu Buhari and that of several dead soldiers they claimed were Nigerian laid on the ground. The PDP's Twitter report so far has not less than 1,155 Retweets and 1,618 Likes. However, based on thorough investigation and series of verications, The Guardian has reported that the said photo is fake since it does not relate to Boko Haram or Nigeria. Findings revealed that the image was snapped by a photography stringer for Associated Press (AP) at Elasha Biya, Somalia. The image was published by the AP on October 20, 2011, to show Al-Shabab militants displaying the bodies of men they claimed were African Union (AU) peacekeepers killed in Somalia. Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that the PDP and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, had accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, of spreading fake news. The opposition party, therefore, asked the minister and the ruling APC to seek forgiveness from Nigerians for allegedly spreading fake news in the country. The PDP in a statement signed by its national publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, in Abuja on Sunday, October 21, said: “The minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, should lead the government and his APC to do the needful, instead of the lame attempts at whitewashing the government and his party, even when Nigerians know that they are behind the escalation of fake news in Nigeria.” https://www.legit.ng/1207368-fake-news-how-pdp-ap-picture-attack-buhari.html

FarahAideed:If your source of ill-gotten wealth and undeserving lifestyle is under threat, it's pretty understandable that you hate Buhari. But for us who want those who swindled this country shamed, jailed, banished or even legally executed, we have no course to hate him the least. This country has been bastardized and Buhari is trying to sanitize it. It is the insane who are seeing a return to the old order. It's going to be really difficult for the rogues to easily be allowed back to continue with their rotten ways. Buhari has started the cleansing, be assured that even if he didn't finish it, it is his types that'd assume the mantle and continue. We don't want our fates determined by the Atikus, the Obis, the Fayoses, the Okupes the FFKs, the Omokris, the Metuhs, the Dasukis and Co. |
Monimatic:Get your facts right. It is the state government that perceives these institutions as supporting Buhari, hence the punishment. |
Continue to mislead the masses and the gullible, as if that is enough to dislodge Buhari. |
Here is one reason to hate Buhari or anybody of his type:

Two traditional rulers in Deba district of Gombe State have been suspended from office after they were accused of organising a prayer session for the success of President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 election. The two monarchs, Alhaji Julde of Garin Mallam and Ummaru Bappayo of Wajari district, were suspended by the Emir of Deba after they reportedly invited prominent Islamic clerics to the session. A letter of suspension written in Hausa language and signed by the acting secretary of the emirate, Saidu Mele, states that they were suspended from office with effect from November 23. “I have been directed to inform you that as from today ( 23/11/2018), his Royal Highness the Emir of Deba has suspended you from serving as district head because of some terrible reasons. “You are, therefore, expected to cease carrying out any function as a traditional ruler immediately,” Mr Mele stated in the letter seen by PREMIUM TIMES. Although the letter did not mention the specific offence the traditional rulers committed, the victims confirmed the reason for the suspension. One of the tradition rulers confirmed that they organised the prayer session as a “normal zikr” but that they usually use such occasions to pray for the leaders. Mr Julde, the district head of Garin Mallam, told PREMIUM TIMES over the telephone that “It’s true we were suspended for organising Zikr and praying for our dear president. I don’t know what is wrong with that.” Mr Julde also said he believes the Emir of Deba was directed by the state government to order their suspension. Gombe is one of only two states in the North-east governed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after incumbent governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo, won re-election in 2015. Mr Dankwambo sought to be the PDP presidenital candidate in the party’s primaries but lost to Atiku Abubakar who is from neighbouring Adamawa State. Mr Dankwambo has, however, pledged his support to Mr Abubakar. Mr Julde said the decision to suspend them was taken after a meeting of “top political leaders” in the area. He said he believes Mr Dankwambo ordered their suspension. When contacted, an aide to the Emir of Deba, Modu Chokali, said “to the best of my knowledge, no district head was suspended for political reasons.” Also, the Commissioner for Information in the state, Umar Nafada, denied knowledge of the suspension. “It is not true but I will confirm and get back to you. Thanks,” Mr Nafada said in response to our message sent to him via WhatsApp. However, he has not replied a reminder sent to him up till the time of publishing this story. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/298799-2019-two-traditional-rulers-suspended-for-organising-prayers-for-buhari.html |
Remain with your not knowing if at this stage and in your position you don't know who is referred. You cannot make Buhari look childish and foolish with this your elementary trick. |
franchasng:On the contrary, the image you provided did not show any unhappiness on Aisha, rather of someone in a jovial mood. |
Focusmind:Be fair. Look at that picture again. He's not the only one looking in the other direction you referred. |
