aribisala0:As in!!! I was shocked by the level of ignorance on display. They kept bashing the guy for being more in the know than they were. Must have thought high rise buildings are the only indices of development. |
LionDeLeo:Well, technically, they are both still developing countries. As a nation, they have miles to go, just like we do. Thought you'd mention an actually developed country. That said, Lagos is fine, no doubt. |
wtfcoded:It could have. I remember Caroline mentioned that he was lightweight. |
Peacefulgold:What manner of Fuckery is this?! |
kenonze:Enugu says hi. |
In my own opinion, a jobless guy has no business going into a relationship. Well, depending on his ambitions. If you're the kind that aspire to greatness of some sort, entering a relationship will either slow you down or kill off your zeal altogether. You go from focusing on growing yourself to exploring ways to spice up your relationship. The woman almost becomes the core of your being. The desire to protect your new acquisition will make you less mobile, hence make securing a job much more difficult. That's assuming you're in a location where jobs are few and far between. If you jam mami water nkor? Well, sorry for you! She will drag you through the mud and kill off the little self esteem that's left in you. There's a point beyond which it becomes hard to recover your mojo back to how it used to be. Besides, for how long do you think a girl can put up with a broke guy in this age and time? It usually starts well, but even the most contented of all girls would want you to contribute something as your share of the joint activity you have been running every once in a while. Abi you think say her mileage go just dey run for nothing? Most people often suggest getting a girl that'll love you for you whilst you're broke. But boy, it doesn't end well most of the time. One of you is bound to end up seeing the other as having wasted their time. I cited all of the above under the assumption that you're after a serious relationship. If otherwise, disregard. People are different. But that special one you seek is hard to find. |
Babe's ambitious; lick your wounds and move on. ![]() On a serious note, though. She must be harebrained. What kind of a woman ventures into such a life of uncertainty without considering her options carefully? If life in the US were as rosy as the sister made it seem, how come she still isn't doing all of those things she is pinning on the young lady? How many of her family members has she taken abroad? How much money has she sent back home? Your ex jumped ship in the middle of the ocean. All you have to do is watch on as her dance with the sharks unfurls. ![]() She's no different from all those girls who left their bfs because they wanted to get married before a certain year runs out. Yet several Decembers have passed, they are still without boyfriends of their own, much less fiancés. It promises to be an entertaining sight. |
True that. Man's not wise. His advisers, even worse. He thought he could trash-talk his way into independence. He and his followers think that the international community will throw open its arms and give them a warm embrace for a job well done. They forget that other countries are distantly absorbed in their own problems, and won’t even care enough to as little as ask questions. Look what happened in Catalonia. Most big countries have separatists problems of their own, so know where it pinches. |
Lol |
paiz:Not necessarily. Passing a school course does not require knowing so much English. Most lecturers in Nigerian unis are lazy. So they'd rather you recall their courses verbatim. To pass, all she need do is cram and pour. |
CROWNWEALTH019:Oga detractor, weh done, sir! |
Sanchez01:Okay. Thanks for this info. I can see that they haven't changed from when I last used them, sometime in 2005. Then it was Aljazeera Sports. I have always been in awe of their modus operandi. Will go back to using them again if TSTV fails to deliver. Thanks! |
abumaryam012:Is this true? |
Sanchez01:Are these stations besides the Bein Sports ones? |
Reno is only being the degenerate clod that he really is. No surprises there. Intellad:And why exactly is a guy talking about dicks? Are you gay or something? |
escapefromusa:Sure, it has always been, but is even more so today. Time was when marriage used to be a marker of adulthood. Anyone could get married to anyone, as people seemed to appreciate prospects and operate with a more long-term perspective. But today, marriage is becoming increasingly tied to socioeconomic statuses than anything else. Men who aren't doing well financially are less likely to be seen as marriage material by women who do not want to take a risk on somebody who's unlikely to provide money or assets. IMHO, most women nowadays are more concerned about the financial aspects of things. So, for them, the guy they'd settle down with has to at least be able to guarantee financial stability. When that man finally decides to propose, they tend to regard it as a special honor. |
Because marriage is fast becoming a mark of privilege. |
chukzyfcbb:Mes que un club. Sure thing, bro. Thanks! |
chukzyfcbb:Oh wow. Thanks for this. I'm a Barca fan myself. Think it's worth giving them another try at this point. Used to like them. Sometimes I no dey send commentaries o, so long as say I dey watch wetin dey happen myself. The language they broadcast in should not be too much of an issue. Wish I knew back then that they had good coverage in the SE, na ehn I for use throughout my service year. Thanks. |
sexy74:Okay. I get your drift. Signal reception is excellent in my area. However, what I wanted to find out is whether they have all Bein Sports channels? Like, when I used to have them, they usually swapped between channels, airing them only when there's a live match. I think only two Aljazeera Sports channels were a constant feature at the time. Thanks. |
deji17:You have a sound mind! |
Advans:Bein Sports make commentaries in English. |
sexy74:Do CTL have all Bein Sports channels? Think I last used them in 2004/2005 or so. They used to show all Champions League, La Liga, Seria A, and other leagues on Aljazeera Sports channels back then. I wonder how they operate these days. I'm contemplating ditching DSTV for CTL, as I don't do much besides watching football and animals channels. I shouldn't be paying 14k for the exact same value I can get for a little over 3k. |
omenka:It is the latest political fancy word, for sure. Even individuals who barely understand what the term means naively suggest that we go with it, just because they believe it is anti-government of the day. What they may not understand, however, is that they are pushing to have 36 more power-hungry individuals as presidents. More troubles for themselves! Dare to speak against it, and people take it to mean that you're scared of losing out. Makes me laugh. |
truth4u:How does a restructured Nigeria benefit you? |
Restructure or not, balkanize or maintain; how does it benefit the dispossessed Nigerians who have had their rights stolen for so long? I sometimes feel ashamed on behalf of those educated people who long for a return to an imaginary structure where everyone has a seat at the head of the table. In Nigeria, and everywhere else in the world, bar some Scandinavian countries, those seats are reserved for the elites. Rather than seeking clearly how a government intends to bring progress and growth, we are concerning ourselves with what benefits the elites only. |
Sanchez01:I did read excerpts from the book. It doesn't say enough to justify the dictator tag labelled on Leo. Messi didn't do much else besides questioning whether Guardiola's still regarded him as important to the team. Besides, it is no secret that Ibra has an ego the size of his big frame. He must have wanted to occupy the entire space. Everyone needs space to breathe. All Messi wanted was reassurance. Shouldn't draw comparison to what Neymar did. Not a chance. |
Afenifere: the mouthpiece of the PDP in the South West. They like to differ just for the sake of being in the opposition. They are right on this one, though. Thought I was the only one who didn't see any need for the operation. |
Sanchez01:So, if Messi does not get into a tussle publicly, how then did you get to know he does it at all? You shouldn't pin the man down just because you want Ronaldo lifted up high. |
These people keep embarrassing themselves, shaping the general idea that Africans are not fit to rule themselves. I don't see how protesting in a foreign land helps them achieve this restructuring of a thing. And instead of making persuasive remarks, they are making it about religion. That won't arouse world concern in any way. Individuals with normal thinking faculty are careful about the way they make their case heard. This is all politics. If you must change the system, then you have to learn to reason beyond the boundary of threats. Make your case a compelling one. If you like, don't come out and vote in 2019. That'd be your candidate's loss, and not Nigeria's. |
LionDeLeo:Hahahahah. Na so e sweet you reach? ![]() |
It's quite easy to tell them apart. It doesn't take hard work to identify a girl who's so much into you just for the title. One way or another, you'll find that they love to hear where they feature in your future plans. Such ladies often need reassurance every once in a while. Those who run their mouths faster than they think would say something disrespectful or act it altogether and then get all apologetic immediately you give them the "no more marriage" look. Contrary to what some guy say above, such ladies won't put up with your every shit. They'll tell it to your face how your behaviour is unbecoming for a guy your age. So they are likely to want to mould you into the ideal guy. Girls who put up with your every shit are just that - nice and tolerant. It's not always a pretense. Girls who act all wife material usually reveal their true colors at some point in the relationship. She may tell you about how an ex wasted her time. Or how he he married a lady that's a lesser wife material than she is. She'd want you to get to meet her family ASAP. And if you are close with them, there's always that sister of hers who's likely to remind you that the sister isn't getting any younger, albeit jokingly, whenever her birthday comes around. She fantasizes about the number of kids and their gender. Make no mistake, such girls usually picture themselves being married to all of their exes. Parental pressure. If you notice that the parents are the kind that lay too much emphasis on marriage, then that's a red flag. If you started dating her from your uni days or have been knowing her since then, look back to when you were in school. Was she the kind that's the first to resume school and the last to return home during the holidays? If yes, then she just wants the marriage. So, because she wants to escape her parents. Such girls would cling onto just anyone to get them out of what they consider a "cell." You know how some parents can make life tough for their wards. There are many ways you can know this. |
