Bro, that was what I saw. It was a series of tweets from some barca handle that I can't even remember anymore. Tried to do some digging but nothing came up. I am well aware of the rules. Told a friend this morning that were Catalonia to secede, Valencia would automatically go top of the table. I only based that particular response off the tweets I saw quoting Javier Tebas.

About the UK secessionists, I don't see the alternative fact there. That's what's up, straight up.

However, Tebas did say he will call all the Catalan clubs in the event of a separation. So I suppose they could work something out.

The UK for instance, has had to deal with issues of secession from Northern Ireland, Wales, and now Scotland. Germany has her own with Bavaria. France has some struggles with Corsica and Brittany, while Flanders and Wallonia are threatening to pull Belgium apart. Italy nkor? She's facing or has faced same issues with Sicily, Lombardy, Veneto, and South Tyrol regions. Denmark has the same problems, as does Poland, Romania, Crotia and Czech Republic. The bureaucratic elites are all fighting the same struggles. So they understand where it pinches. Nothing brings two people together like a common struggle. They'd rather collude and deal with Catalonia than side with her.

I'm not saying it is wrong usage to refer to a place as large on the basis of population. It is in fact as correct as it can get. What I meant was that it's a vague expression.

Most sites use the statement as a clickbait. But it is not the most coherent they could employ. So the people that challenged the assertion as mistaken or wrong were justified in doing so.

Since it concerns population, he should have said the "most populous," and not the largest.
