Jokes EtcRe: How Nigerians React To The " How Are You?" Question. by malton:
My response to that depends on who's asking.

Like, there's this female course mate of mine. Each time she calls, she'd be like "****, how are you?"

Me: angry. You're mad abi?!

Her: sorry jor. I forgot you don't like being asked that.

But when an uncle throws the exact same question, I dey loyal.

Me: kiss. I'm fine uncle; how's work and the family?

grin

If na my guy ask me,

Me: see, you chop craze abi?! When be the last time wey pesin slap you?!

Oga mi, no one doubts your reputation on this forum.
My point being that, based on this thread, they'd worship you like Nnamdi kanu. In view of this, how many of them have ever said a "thank you" to you prior to this thread?.

Truthfully, I know your intention is for real but also when someone else's press their mumu button, the result is the same.
Okay.

I get your drift.

Sorry, I didn't see it from that angle initially.

Our views may not always be the same, but we've got to rise above pettiness sometimes.

Truth be told, the Igbos will be greatly missed if they left this country.

Everyone is important in their own unique ways. I don't think their contributions to the economies of the various regions can be dismissed.

The northerners need to know that there are limits to their insanities.

The mods hid the comment, I believe.

Those people are funny lots. I smirked in surprise when he made that comment.

He's bluffing, just like the rest of them.

you are quite right , if the northerners go beserk , the whole Nigeria will feel it , but if only every tribe in Nigeria and the world powers like Russia , britain , Arab world can just be neutral and let the North do its worst.

the only thing in the North is just Kaduna and Kano which in my own estimation are over rated cities requiring only 2 days of aerial bombardments for the worst to happen
I don't think they'll ever let that happen. They have interests to protect.

That's the issue.

Malton, Enjoy your fame while it last. You've given some people a reason to be hopeful. It can't come better in comforting the foul-mouthedly disgusting reprobates who are famous for causing nuisance everywhere they go.
Hope you'd learn from the experience of the North & SW before giving them a yard or two.

I'd be here to watch& laugh at you when this bunch of undeserving scums pull out their fangs at you...
Fame ke?

I know all the right things to say to get the attention. If I wanted it, I'd have deployed them. It doesn't take so much to make a name on this forum. Plus, I have the time and and steady connectivity.

I've been a member here for almost 10 years now (forget that this handle was created in 2015). Surely I'd have courted attention within the said time, eh?

When I created this handle, I did to defend the image of the very same northerners against the smear campaign that was being carried out on them at the time. This I did for almost two years.

Within the same time (2015 - 2017), I suffered losses in their hands. I lost friends to religious intolerance. Individuals who were killed without provocation. Still, I kept on. I didn't let sentiments or emotional attachments becloud my view of things.

I don't support injustice in any form. It's a principle that's the core of my existence.

We don't want any such in our lands. I've lived with the Igbos long enough to know what they are capable of.

Not a single drop of Igbo blood should be shed in our lands. It's all we are saying.

We are not senseless people.

This complete trach written by someone who does not know basic international law.

If there is Biafra today, no Biafran will lose their property or investment for it is protected under international law and rights same as Nigerians have their investments outside Nigeria protected.

If there is Biafra today, the Nigerian government cannot unilaterally expell Biafrans back home: Any Biafran can challenge their expulsion in a Nigerian court of competent jurisdiction with reasons such ownership of immovable assets, family rights, Biafrans of dual Nigerian citizenry amongst many.

Nigeria does not work as a country and hoping for non extent unity is not doing anyone good. It is time for Biafrans to go

when did you respond to the religious angle? as for the Fulanis, I asked you to tell me how many of them are fighting you. if we are to go by your logic, the entire north hates the people of borno because Boko Haram came from their state. and you claim to be reasonable? so far I have not experienced any form of hatred from southern Kaduna people. one of my girl friends is from there . maybe your tribe hates us but in general terms we are still friendly.

and by the way, don't think that I have fallen for your lies. I know that you are an Ibo man from the south east but let's just pretend I dont
WTF!

You obviously don't know the drill.

I'm being economical with information for security reasons.

But man, give them a choice and see which they'd pick. And when it comes down to it, they'll force that choice. Pray a day never come that you find out the truth.

And to be honest, your analogy doesn't quite follow.
Killing people in your backyard will cause them to leave, but killing people in their backyard is an act of war. Get the difference.

To clear the air, I know better than to hate every fulani man over the wrongs of a few. I do not and will never rope them together like that.

But when the time comes to decide, I shan't tie my destiny to known killers.

I am with u my brother keep plateau state out of their demonic plans enof of all this nonsense from blood sucking animals. We better go with our Christian brothers the Ibos it's better to be marginalize by them that the hausas, we are not northerners we are the middle belt.
Help me ask them o, brother.

We are not northerners like that and will never be.

@Malton. Kudos. This is very apt. I rep MB and i agree with you 100%. The people of MB may have fought against Biafra during the civil war, but now, things have changed. The injustice we have experienced, and still experiencing, in the hands of 'foreign' terrorists known as herdsmen have changed the game completely. Our eyes don clear.
Thank you, bro.

They seem to not know that things change so fast.

They should pray not to force our hands.

No sensible person will choose war over peace, North over the SE.

We may not always agree, but I'd rather engage in war of words than battle of swords.

At least the Igbos value human life because they know its worth.

shut up man. who is even begging the middle belt? what I am saying is that the middle belt is full of different tribes that one person cannot speak for everyone. if the katafawas are happy with you it does not mean that gwaris share the same opinion with you. the fact that you said we see them as inferior shows that all that you are saying is based on hatred , the same character with that of ipob . please can you also tell me the version of Islam you are talking about? you attribute anything bad to Islam but when we start talking about cannibalism in your region you begin to talk about bad eggs. the middle belt is generally OK with the north. a few clashes doesn't mean that we are on bad terms. concentrate on building a good relationship with the ijaws first before coming to create disunity here
I get torn between ignoring and responding to people who speak with as much ignorance as you do. However, you sound reasonable, and I believe that you are a sensible person.

You brought the religious angle, and I responded to that.

Can you name one tribe from the middle belt on whose toes your people have not stepped?

Do the Fulani Murderers tell a Gwari person from a Tiv man whenever they go on rampage?

From Southern Kaduna through Plateau and Benue, have we not all shed the same tears? We have all fallen victims to your people one way or another.

When you are that person, everybody has to hate you, and justifiably so. What have you done to earn the love of any middle beltan?

I give it to you people for acting strategically for so long. But hey, even the best legs get weary; give it up - you've been found out.

We are peace loving people, sure, but you see, there's only so much that one can swallow and tolerate.

how many tribes are in the middle belt and how many of them have told you that they prefer the igbos to Hausas? you people just make huge assumptions from just a little problem. the fight of a few North Central people against Fulani does not mean that we are enemies. how many middle belt states are dominated Christians self?
You think this is anything to do with religion?

It's about common sense.

The only commonality between the Hausa/Fulani Muslim and the middle belt one is religious. That alone is not enough to get the affinities you seek.

Our Muslim brothers do not consent to your killing and destructive perspectives of Islam. Indigenous middle beltan Muslims do not acquiesce with violence because dem go school and their papa dem raise them well.

Don't even talk about religion when you consider them inferior to you, authors of Islam. And why's that? Because they are tolerant and dress differently.

You have said it all Op. My Mum is from Benue and I am Igbo and I can categorically tell you that an average Idoma or Tiv man prefers to have an Igbo neighbour to an Hausa or Fulani neighbour. The both are also Christians. I was in Jos during the 2008 religious riots and I saw the way the indigenous people and some of my brothers joined to fight a common enemy. The threat can only work in core northern states made up of Muslims and not middle belt. In fact, It can not even work in Nassarawa and Taraba states.
Their threats can only work in the core northern states like you pointed out. Even there, they won't achieve much success.

People are tired of the incessant fightings and want peace.

Those youths are just some nincompoops who know nothing about the north they claim to speak for. States like Gombe will never descend to chaos.

Taraba is safe o, 90% of them are Christians. It's the Hausa man's knack for living around market squares and popular places that makes people think they are much in such locations.

They share the Plateau man's dislike for those blood suckers.

Middle belt is not Hausa land.

they should leave igbo alone. any igbo shouldnt invest much in Hausa land, we get much land down south for them to invest.
My point exactly, bro.

We have nothing in common with them.

They have become pests to us all just as much as they are to the south.

Nobody sells them lands in Jos anymore because they have long been found out.

Our people are wiser now.

I used to count all the Hausa people as the same even when my twin brother who had lived in Plateau State from eight years tried to convince me that Plateau people are different to attitudinal conducts of other Hausas, but today I surrender to believe and also to love any Plateau man as a brother. Thanks man. Peace and Love.
Thanks for those kind words, bro. They mean a lot coming from you.

The Plateau man is friend to all. Our relationship with the Igbo man is long term and we'll not let anyone destroy all that.

Actually, our people are not Hausa. We have our own tribes. The Hausa they speak is just conversational.

We have nothing in common with Hausa people besides that a good number of our people understand and speak their language. From religious beliefs to mode of dressing, culture and everything between.

God bless you!
