Wow.. You are just showing more of your ignorance of your Bible. Kjv has no errors? How laughable! Why then do we have Nkjv? The same Kjv authors corrected their error in using staves for staffs in their Nkjv. See? We have staffs not staves in their Nkjv!

Your utter ignorance again surface by saying Matt was written in Hebrews! Hun!

You just added to your problem here, again.
king James version was translated 400years ago during the medieval England period. Use of this translation is problematic these days, since it uses an archaic version of modern English, which doesn't necessarily mean the same things today as when it was translated over 400 years ago.In addition, the KJV
was produced using a limited number of medieval manuscripts that did not
represent the earliest Alexandrian set of
manuscripts.

Stop being a gainsayer bros....If i raise my claim based on the bible, you oughy to refute it based on the bible, you don't believe the Quran why should you use it in validating your point?

Please adrress the OP if you have anything to say, the basis of this thrrad is that the ressurection story according to the bible is inconsistence and false and the Quran didnt record anything about this particular biblical myth, therefore, using the Quran in validating this sham is stup1dity. You should go through the OP once again and come back.

Indeed the Qurand made mention of some biblical prophet, but do you believe in its story? No.

Meanwhile, I didnt make mention of it in the OP, so trying to force the Quran here is an attempt to derail. Use your bible to refute and validate your points stop this nonsense.

Why don't you point out the lies in the oP if you are truthful to yourself? Is the bible inerrrant? the OP says no, The OP demolish the backbone of the christian faith sometimes expressed as the "promise of the cross"..i.e. "no ressurection no christianity.

Are you saying that the Quran also claim all that the bible claimed in the OPhuh (the resurrection myth according to the bible)
the quran say Jesus was not crucified;
Surah 19:33: Peace on me the day I
was born, and the day I die, and the
day I shall be raised alive! (Pickthall)

Here they shift the death of Jesus to the future. just a few verses earlier in the
Qur’an regarding John the Baptist (Yahya) We can read an almost identical passage about John the Baptist in Surah 19:15. Note the similarity in the wordings:
Surah 19:15: And peace on him on
the day he was born, and on the day
he dies, and on the day he is raised
to life. (Shakir)

Why don't the Muslim shift the death of john the baptist to the future? You said the even was not written in the quran but here it is with contradiction with the earlier scripture(bible)

The quran truth is strange from the bible, what God opposed in the bible, the quranic god approved of it.

Deuteronomy 10:17-19: For Jehovah
your God is the God of gods and the
Lord of lords, the God great, mighty
and fear-inspiring, who treats none
with partiality nor accepts a bribe,
executing judgment for the fatherless
boy and the widow and loving the
foreign resident so as to give him
bread and clothing. You too must
love the foreign resident , for you
became alien residents in the land of
Egypt.
Leviticus 19:9-10: And when you
people reap the harvest of your land,
you must not reap the edge of your
field completely and the leftovers of
your harvest you must not pick up.
You must not gather the leftovers of
your vineyard and you must not pick
up the scattered grapes of your
vineyard. For the afflicted one and
the foreign resident you should
leave them. I am Jehovah your God.
Leviticus 19:33-34: And in case a
foreign resident resides with you as
an alien in your land, you must not
mistreat him. The foreign resident
who resides as an alien with you
should become to you like a native of
yours; and you must love him as
yourself, for you became foreign
residents in the land of Egypt. I am

Allah’s commandment to fight the Jews and Christians is not because they were
attacking or even planning to attack the
Muslims but because the Muslims feared poverty.

A new situation developed,
resulting in the sudden loss of trade for
Muslims This was because Allah now
prohibited the polytheist from entering
the sacred Mosque in Mecca.

Well, what was Allah’s solution for the
financial reversal of the Muslims? Yes!
Attack the Jews and Christians and let
them compensate for the loss of trade.
This is made clear in Surah 9:28 (the
verse preceding Surah 9:29). We will
have to read both verses together to
understand the clear message of these
verses.

Surah 9:28-29: O ye who believe!
Truly the Pagans are unclean; so let
them not, after this year of theirs,
approach the Sacred Mosque. And if
YE FEAR POVERTY, soon will Allah
ENRICHED YOU , if He wills, out of His
bounty, for Allah is All-knowing, All-
wise. Fight those who believe not in
Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that
forbidden which hath been forbidden
by Allah and His Messenger, nor
acknowledge the religion of Truth,
even if they are of the People of the
Book, until they PAY THE JIZYA with
willing submission and feel
themselves subdued.

Allah prohibited the polytheist to enter the sacred mosque, this will lead to sudden poverty and the Muslims knows it, so "they fear' verse 28 talk about the idea and the solution was given in verse 29.

It is all about money. The Tafsir by Ibn
Kathir clarifies the Historical Context
for Allah’s purpose in revealing Surah
9:28-29.
Ibn Kathir, The Battles of the Prophet,
pp. 183-4:
Allah, Most High, ordered the
believers to prohibit the
disbelievers from entering or
coming near the sacred Mosque. On
that, Quraish thought that this
would reduce their profits from
trade. Therefore, Allah, Most High,
compensated them and ordered
them to fight the people of the
Book until they embrace Islam or
pay the Jizyah. Allah says, “O ye who
believe! Truly the pagans are
unclean; so let them not, after this
year of theirs, approach the sacred
Mosque. And if ye fear poverty, soon
will Allah enrich you, if He wills, out
of His bounty, for Allah is All-
Knowing, All-Wise. Fight those who
believe not in Allah nor the Last Day,
nor hold that forbidden which hath
been forbidden by Allah and His
Messenger, nor acknowledge the
religion of Truth, from among the
People of the Book, until they pay the
Jizyah with willing submission, and
feel themselves subdued.” (Surah
9:28-29) Therefore, the Messenger of
Allah decided to fight the Romans in
order to call them to Islam.
“Therefore, the Messenger of Allah
decided to fight the Romans .” The
Romans were Christians. “The
Messenger of Allah decided to fight
the Romans” not because the Romans
were attacking or planning to attack the
Muslims but because of Allah’s command
in Surah 9:29. It was a unilateral attack
by the Muslims because of Allah’s
solution for their impending poverty.
Should any Christian convert to Isla

Allah prophecy failed, so he abrogate it with new ones;

Surah 8:65: “O Prophet! urge the
believers to war; if there are twenty
patient ones of you they shall
overcome two hundred, and if there
are a hundred of you they shall
overcome a thousand of those who
disbelieve, because they are a people
who do not understand.” (Shakir)

Allah prophesizes in no uncertain terms
that each Muslims warrior will be able to defeat by ten-fold the number of his
enemies – a ratio of 1 to 10. This is truly
an astounding feat. Since this is a
prophetic promise made by Allah to
Muhammad, it is to be achieved, not by
the strength of the individual Muslim
soldier but by the divine power of the all- knowing Allah. However, this verse was abrogated shortly (one verse later) by the following Qur’anic verse:

Surah 8:66: “For the present Allah has
made light your burden, and He
knows that there is weakness in you;
so if there are a hundred patient
ones of you they shall overcome two
hundred, and if there are a thousand
they shall overcome two thousand
by Allah’s permission, and Allah is
with the patient.” (Shakir)

Surah 8:66 was revealed a short time
later – but only after Muhammad’s
followers complained bitterly at the
impossible odds they would face
when they engage their enemies in
battles.

If Allah in the Qur’an manifests himself
as the arbitrary god who acts as he
pleases without even honoring his own

I have nothing aganist muslims, I have muslim friends, relations and they are the as nice as can be.I don't believe in discriminations or stereotypes, an individual is an individual.

However, the whole saga of Isil, Al-qeada, Bokoharam etc, has got me thinking, then I sigh with relief when my Muslim friends convince me they are not preaching Islam, that they are extremists and radicals...makes sense because some 'christians' are not preaching Christianity.

But, the horror of burning a human being alive, and being praised for it, is confusing.

Then I watch the news of a Christian woman who went to draw water from the well, and was accused of making the water unclean with her 'christian' hands, consequently of blasphemy against the prophet, and she has been sentenced to death. The confusing part is when people are agitating aganist a change of the law that sentences someone to death. They are actually threatening to kill the woman if she is released. Why would you think anyone deserves to die for blasphemy? I don't believe the prophet needs us to fight his war, he should kill her himself if she really blasphemed against him.

Any religion that isn't pro-life, that believes in chaos, that preaches violence as an answer, that glories in death, that encourages war, that permits underage marriage, that dictates amputation for certain crimes......then there is something terribly wrong with that religion, and if some of the individuals following that religion cannot realise this problem, or even go ahead to twist its teachings to satisfy their brutality, then they need a brain check, don't they??

Okay, i see you posted this on the other thread seeking answer. Well, Muslims are humans just like you people. We are bound to have differences, in thought, conception, methodology, and even ideology. What does not change with Islam/Muslims is we all believe in the same Quran. Quran is one in its original Arabic text and that's it.

Now, to answer your question, ever since i was growing up, i never heard of any verse(s) was/were cancelled or abrogated from Quran. That's nonsense. There is nothing like a verse was forgotten or removed from Quran. Quran is for past, present and future. It's a misconception among some Muslims (i:e their understandings). This is a matter of methodology. Those who believe there is or are missing verses from Quran got the wrong mandhab (methodology).

Look at it this way, if there were abrogated or missing verses in the Quran, it will be impossible to have same copy of Quran worldwide in its original Arabic text. True or not?.

This is the verse of Qur'an that speaks of abrogation (2:106):

Sahih International

The verse does not in anyway refers to verses within Quran. It's talking about previous Signs (i:e ayat, verses) in Revelations like Torah of Moses and or Injil of Jesus). The Quran is only giving more information in the verse above. It may be contradiction if we accept such silly allegation(abrogation within Quran).

Quran deemphasizes contradictions within it in sura Nisa(4):82

In a nutshell, i am aware of some scholars who claim some verses of the Quran are abrogated or removed. This is not appropriate. I don't care how highly they are regarded. They are simply wrong in their interpretation of 2:106. Only Allah and His messanger (Muhammad- Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) have the right to tell us what is or what is not in the Quran. It doesnt matter what a hadith says. Any hadith that says otherwise is false. Hope this answer your question.

What happened to the other revelation? Why are the abrogate verses still in the quran? How can Muslim know which verses are abrogated? Even Muslim scholar argue about the abrogated verses;

The people were confused of the abrogated verses so they told him ",HE WAS INVENTING most of it"

If the people of that time were confused of the abrogated verses what about nowadays Muslim? There confusion will have no limit. Only God can help them.

truthman2012:
You fit into a Yoruba proverb that says it is a liar that will say his witness is in a far place. Why Hebrew bible you and I cannot interpret?

Let us come to look at it: why would God sent a sinner, Muhammad after a saint, Jesus Christ? There was no prophet in history that was as sinful as Muhammad. He himself did not hide it. Look at this:

"...O Allah! Forgive me the sins that I did in the past or will do in the future, and also the sins that I did in secret or in public. Bukhari volume 9, #482 This was the statement of your prophet, Muhammad.

Apart from this hadith, there are scores of other hadiths in which Muhammad acknowledged that he was a sinner. That is the man your brother said is the Holy Spirit.

Tell me why would God return the world to paganism Muhammad called islam? I tell you the truth, Gabriel that spoke to Muhammad was the Satan his father and grand father were worshiping. Otherwise, why should he direct muslims to do what the idol worshipers were doing before islam?

There is no denying that the Black Stone was one among many stones and idols venerated at the Ka’aba by the pre-Islamic pagans. The Black Stone was kissed during pre-Islamic pagan worship. Though Muhammad threw out 360 other objects at the Ka’aba, he retained this Black Stone and continued the practice of kissing it. It is this same stone that the pre-Islamic pagans once kissed, that Muslims kiss today when visiting Mecca.

Fasting on the 10th of Muharram

Muhammad's pagan tribe, the Quraish, fasted on the 10th of Muharram. Though optional, Muhammad retained this pagan practice too.
Narrated 'Aisha: 'Ashura' (i.e. the tenth of Muharram) was a day on which the tribe of Quraish used to fast in the pre-lslamic period of ignorance. The Prophet also used to fast on this day. So when he migrated to Medina, he fasted on it and ordered (the Muslims) to fast on it. When the fasting of Ramadan was enjoined, it became optional for the people to fast or not to fast on the day of Ashura.
Sahih Bukhari 5:58:172

Tawaf between Safa and Marwa

Doing Tawaf between Safa and Marwa is an Islamic ritual associated with the pilgrimage to Mecca. Safa and Marwa are two mounts, located at Mecca. This ritual entails Muslims walking frantically between the two mounts, seven times. This was originally a pagan pre-Islamic practice. Muhammad retained it for Islam, sanctioning it with yet another Qur'anic revelation.

Narrated 'Asim: I asked Anas bin Malik: "Did you use to dislike to perform Tawaf between Safa and Marwa?" He said, "Yes, as it was of the ceremonies of the days of the Pre-lslamic period of ignorance, till Allah revealed: 'Verily! (The two mountains) As-Safa and Al-Marwa are among the symbols of Allah. It is therefore no sin for him who performs the pilgrimage to the Ka'ba, or performs 'Umra, to perform Tawaf between them.' " (2.158)
Sahih Bukhari 2:26:710

Clearly, the Hadith testifies that Muhammad merely adopted this pagan ceremony from the pre-Islamic "period of ignorance" and justified it with yet another convenient Qur'anic revelation.

Requirement of Ihram

Ihram is a state a Muslim enters into for his pilgrimage to Mecca. It involves a series of procedures like ritual washing, wearing 'Ihram garments', etc. Ihram was originally a pagan requirement for worshipping idols during pre-Islamic times. Muhammad retained this practice for Islam. Muslims assume Ihram to perform the Hajj or Umrah.
Narrated 'Urwa: I asked 'Aisha : ...But in fact, this divine inspiration was revealed concerning the Ansar who used to assume “Ihram” for worshipping an idol called “Manat” which they used to worship at a place called Al-Mushallal before they embraced Islam, and whoever assumed Ihram (for the idol), would consider it not right to perform Tawaf between Safa and Marwa.
Sahih Bukhari 2:26:706

Circumambulation 7 Times

In the Islamic ritual of Tawaf, Muslims go around the Kaaba 7 times. In the Hindu marriage rite of Saptapadi, the married couple goes around a fire also 7 times. In both of these rituals, religious phrases are repeated during the circumambulation.

Circumambulation is to go in circles around a particular object. In Islam, worshippers and pilgrims do this around the Ka'aba at Mecca. Pre-Islamic pagans used do it to please the moon god Hubal, the 360 deities and Allah (who was merely one among the many deities worshipped there). Muhammad himself used to do it, even before the 360 idols inside the Ka'aba were removed.

Judaism and Christianity (the religions of those who are considered People of the Book) do not practice ritual circumambulation to please God. Two other faiths which do are Hinduism and Buddhism, religions older than Islam and accused by Islam of “paganism” and practicing idolatry.
Crescent Moon Symbol.

There are many other instances that show islam is a continuation of idol worship of the pre-islamic period.

So you mean Muhammad was sent by God to re-introduce idol worship to the world? If you still remain a muslim after reading this, something must be wrong with your reasoning.
God bless you. Good morning.
Islam › Re: Why Did Allah Make It Compulsory For Muslims To Commit Adultery? by malvisguy212: 9:53pm On Feb 02, 2015
For a Christian husband, there is no
place for sex outside the limits of a single wife. This is the divine arrangement in a Christian marriage. Professed “Christians” who choose to act differently are acting on their own and are placing themselves under the adverse judgment of God Almighty.
Marriage is the first human institution
ordained and designed by God. In
Christianity, marriage is viewed as a
sacred institution ordained by God for
the lifelong union of a man and a
woman. This original principal was first
articulated in the Bible book of Genesis.
It is stated in Genesis 2:24: “(A man)
shall cleave unto his wife; and they
shall be one flesh.” Jesus reiterated this
same basic position on marriage in Mark 10:8. He described the marriage union as a sacred union. Because of the
faithfulness, trueness and intimacy that
are meant to be in this relationship,
Jesus said that “the two shall become
one flesh. So they are no longer two
but one flesh .” In truth, they are now
one – a single unit. The Christian
Marriage is one man, one woman, one
life – in union with their Creator. The
husband and wife are of equal value and valuable in the eyes of their Creator. The sacredness of the Marriage institution is further emphasized in Hebrews 13:4:

“Marriage should be honored by all,
and the marriage bed kept pure, for
God will judge the ADULTERERS and all
the sexually immoral.”

And the following warnings are given by
the Almighty God in Malachi 3:5:

“And I will come near to you people
for the judgment; and I will be a
swift witness against the sorcerers,
and against the ADULTERERS.”

AS LONG AS THE QURAN CONTRADICTS THIS DIVINE JUDGMENT OF GOD, ALLAH IS NO DIFFERENT FROM SATAN.

Mr? I wouldn't reply u anymore after this. If I may ask these questions rhetorically? wat do u intend to achieve by bringing out all these scholarly texts? Are u trying to condemn islam or u r trying to convince muslims islam is not ryt for them? Or u r so bored that u decided to occupy urself somehow? Av u heard of commentary to quran and hadith b4? quranic words or expressions are sometimes in metaphors and similes.. And am sure u kno ther is difference btw translation and interpretation..I suggest u quote commentary of quran or hadith next time so that u ll give ppl d ryt information. Once again, ur wisdom is too minor to understand islam.
Allah provided a cover in the Qur’an for
se'x-on-demand. It is called “Temporary
Marriage” or “NIKAH MUT'A,” where a
fixed-time arrangement and payment
are both agreed upon in advance
between the man and the woman. The
“marriage” automatically dissolves once
the duration expires. It is nothing but a
form of prostitution legalized by Allah in
the Qur’an.

The man and woman will
become strangers to each other after the expiration date. Its format is that the woman says the following to the man after they both agree to the terms of the dower and the period of time: “I MARRIED YOU TO MYSELF ON SUCH-AND-SUCH A DOWER AND FOR THE KNOWN PERIOD OF TIME” – where this period is stated exactly. The man’s answer will be: “I ACCEPT.” The dower can be in the form of money or something else. According to the terms of the contract, the woman
becomes the wife of the man, and the
man becomes her husband till the end of the period specified in the contract.

After it was revealed in the Qur’an,
Muhammad legislated Mut’a with all the
rules pertaining to it. All the Muslims
scholars and chroniclers without
exception agree that Muhammad
established Mut’a and made it legal after his migration to Medina. All Muslims, in their various sects, are also unanimous in their view that this sort of marriage was legislated during the dawn of Islam.

The Qur’anic verse that legitimatized
Mut’a:

Surah 5:87: “O ye who believe!
Forbid not the good things which
Allah hath made lawful for you , and
transgress not, Lo! Allah loveth not
transgressors.” (Pickthall)

Ibn Mas’ud, who is considered as one of
the greatest Muslim scholars, related a
well-known incident, which is recorded in numerous Islamic sources. This event will enlighten us on the historical background for the revealing of Surah 5:87. He tells us why Allah revealed this verse to Muhammad. Let us now review the account:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62,
Number 13o:
Narrated ‘Abdullah (b. Mas’ud): We
used to participate in the holy battles
led by Allah’s Apostle and we had
nothing (no wives) with us. So we said,
“Shall we get ourselves castrated?” He
forbade us that and then allowed us
to marry women with a temporary
contract (2) and recited to us: ‘O you
who believe! Make not unlawful the
good things which Allah has made
lawful for you, but commit no
transgression .’ (Surah 5:87)

Imam Fakhruddin Razi was a 12th
Century Sunni Islamic theologian. He was an expert in a wide variety of disciplines, including the traditional Islamic fields of Sharia (Islamic Law), Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Islamic literature and Tafsir (exegesis). In his famous works known as, “At-tafsir al-Kabir,” he commented regarding Mut’a:

“No Muslim disputes that Mut’ah
marriage was allowed in early
Islam, the difference is whether it
has been abrogated or not.”

Imam Fakhruddin Razi also added the
following: Imran Ibn Husain narrated:

“The verse of Mut’a was revealed in
Allah’s Book, and there did not
came any other verse after that to
abrogate it; and the Prophet
ordered us to do it, so we did it at
the time of Allah’s Apostle…”

I pray God open your eyes before it too late. Thank you
