get to Canada. Open a bank account, join 9ja canada WhatsApp and telegram groups. They exchange naira for cad there ( fastest fingers most times). Rate is now 400 to 410.

Or just convert to usd from bdc/aboki carry the cash along with you to Canada. Convert it in a bank

We arrived at the airport at 9.05am, our flight was scheduled for 1.40pm.
We went to the ET check in stand, weighed our luggages. We had excess luggage and the ET staff was very helpful. He advised us to upgrade 2 of our luggages from 23kg to 32kg and we made pymt of 53,000 for the upgrade.

As long as the name you used to register for WES is the same as what is on your passport then there is no nothing to bother about.
Claudiapam:
Good morning everyone, thank you are for your contributions on this platform. Pls I have a question.
I made a mistake of using my husband's name as my surname on WES registration instead of my father's name which is on my certificates. I have written WES 4days ago on their website "contact us" but havent gotten any repply since. Pls what can i do to rectify this issue because my school just wrote me that they have sent my reault for evaluation.

Hi guys. Well done to everyone so far for constantly making this thread active. Please can someone advise me if it is necessary to include birth certificate in one's application as I dont have one. Also where one changes address prior to making an application, do i maintain the old address since i still have access to it or do i need to state the new one? the issue with stating new one is that 1 will have to change my address on all my supporting documents such as bank statement, etc. the 3rd qstn has been answered already ie nysc can be used as part of work experience without having to state it nysc right? pls advise

You can use your current address, just make sure you state all your addresses in the last ten years. The address on my supporting document was different from my current one as it was still carrying my previous location and this did not affect my application.

Please don’t give up. Which area is giving you issues.

Dieumerci:
Congratulations to everyone who has crossed any of the hurdles in this journey.

Please I need some motivation so I don't place a 'full stop' where the Almighty has put a 'comma'.

After 3 IELTS and failing to max-out, I find it difficult to study for another one - lack of concentration, no zeal... angry

Mehn...I'm tired but must not give up as my children are not meant for this naija.

@ioannes when next you are ill please carry your bible and pray for divine healing don’t use any drugs, because these drugs came to being through the reasearch of these mad scientists. Remember life itself is a gift not a right.
author=Ioannes post=71653182]A Christian can not take part in surrogacy without committing sin.

It is morally and ethically wrong.

The same law that condemns IVF is also applicable to surrogacy.

Fertilization of the egg outside the body of the female, or harvesting already fertilized egg from a female's body or keeping of a human female's egg in a refrigerator for whatever purpose and intent is unethical and immoral and abominable.

Like the OP opined, having children is a gift not a right.

Experiments abound these days with "mad" scientists taking advantage of the availability of embryos and unfertilized eggs to tinker with nature, trying to produce cross breed between humans and lower animals, fertilizing eggs and culturing them so that they can harvest the embryo's body parts for sale in medical circles.

Man has truly gone astray.
good day everyone... i have been following this thread for a while now. thanks to hotstepper and every other person that contributes and all.God bless.I need opinions please. i got my canadian visa approved last year april, was planning on going during summer but couldnt cos of ticket fares so i decided to do it around feb or march this year as advised by my friend that works with BA that fares would have gone down a bit.Anyway the gist now is that i found out i was pregnant for my 4th after 9 weeks around september and now decided to use the visa for birthing purposes so i had to join this thread. i got a doctor through my host at calgary, discussed with him(nigerian doc). so i was good to go.alreday Dh and i had contacted a friend's elder sister who accepted to accomodate me since i was coming alone and she gave us the doc's contact. i left naija jan 21st through BA, arrived london to now check in to calgary and i was informed my visa has been revoked by canadian govt.I didnt believe it. so i went to my profile and saw they sent a mail asking me to come for an interview on the 20th of dec and was given only one week to appear but honestly i didnt see it and that same period i was in uk with my family on christmas vacation. I contacted them and they said i misrepresented during my visa application. my friend's fiance that lives in canada was of the opinion that someone must have contacted them that i wanted to use the visa for birthing purposes. now no one knew i was travelling to canada, not even my siblings or hubbys people.the only person that knew was the lady i was to stay with,my kids, my hubby and myself! when we called her to ask her if she contacted the authorites her answers were not adding up and she started avoiding us. now i wrote to canadian embassy asking why they revoked my visa, they have asked me to come for another interview in lag. i am heavy, i stay at abuja and havent decided yet.thats my story oh and i have learnt

This is so sad, i hope pray they pardon you and give you your visa back.

Why not try this , get correspondence from a doctor in say Houston use it to pass POE and enter the country and then proceed to Austin.
That is what I would do if I was you.

the issue i have is that my host is based in Austin, if i use a doctor from Houston I might need to provide accommodation details
Hello mamababe. Birth tourism is legal in the US provided you are open about your intent and able to pay the medical expenses (for you and the child) in full. Keep in mind, US medical care can be very expensive, and costs can escalate dramatically if there are complications. The standard B1/B2 tourist visa is the appropriate visa. At the visa interview and at the port of entry, you may be asked to show correspondence with Nigerian and US doctors as well as evidence that you have sufficient funds to pay for the treatment.

[/quote

Thank you for your previous response to my inquiry. I do have correspondence from my Nigerian Dr, but the Dr i intend to use in the email said they do not send any correspondence all enquiries are answered on the phone or you book an appointment to see the Dr. My Question is, would this affect my chances if i do not have any correspondence from the Dr in the US.

Babatwi:

The 1st question is do you have enough money to sponsor this trip?,do you have evidence to show that you can afford this trip? Eg a good job,a bank balance that covers the amount on your budget sheet.
If yes, then you are good to go. It doesn't matter that your pregnancy is showing.
What matters is read this thread, take notes and prepare adequately and you'll be fine.

IT IS NOT A CRIME TO GIVE BIRTH IN THE US IF YOU CAN AFFORD TO PAY YOUR BILLS

Thank you very much for the response, yes my earnings can cover the bills and i can provide evidence of bank statement and investment.
