I think www.codeigniter.com is good for all php related works, since it makes php harness the power of OOP. it makes work easier and also faster to migrate from php to java , to C# or to python. so try to check the site and see if u can work on it. I have used it in a couple of projects and it made life eassier for me. just check it out any problems post here and I will be ready to give some info on how it goes down

one more thing, I was thinking that nairaland 2.0 might get closer to something like myspace.com where users can have profiles, and their pictures and music online, and when in the forums u can get to know who u are talking to better by visiting their profiles, listening to their songs or watch their videos if they got some, that way many things will be arround nairaland and guys like me might come there to see some beautiful girls, check their ideas, see their pics and invite them out

you have said it all and I think it is a nice approach to innovation, but there is one thing that goes "if it is not broke dont fix it", and so I want to know the pros to that move and why u think it will be better. for the tagging stuff i think it is a nice solution but it might also get too bulky and difficult to maintain and also difficult to navigate, on google groups I always have difficulty in using it cos if I have a problem I must search for the group that can handle my problem and the next day I might forget the group.

just go to google and search for OOP in C# or VB.net from there u will get started.

well there is no pointing in all this argument, you guys should stop acting like that 2face was better than faze and faze can also be better it depends on the season but what I wish to say here is that you guys want beef and beef is what made 2Pac and BIG get into the grave, you guys should not cook up 2face and Faze to go fighting while they just need to make their money and make the world a better place,

To me 2face is still King but Faze can take over but 2face is like Jay-Z (the business) and Faze is like Nas ( the talent) but music is business plus talent I will not sign u if u know music but I cant sell u, so nowadays 2face is the better artist cos he can sing and they can sell him
