Nile university is increasingly becoming a preferred destination for quality education across Africa. It is currently the most international university in Nigeria with staff and students from about 28 countries. It may be expensive but cheaper than sending your children to far countries leaving you with little or no capability for close supervision of your wards. May this acquisition bring greater prosperity and prestige to the University.

The University Management wishes to notify all staff on the recent decision of the Federal Ministry of Education reference No: FME/PSE/1041/C.I/Vol.I/137and the National Universities Commission referenced NUC/ES/138/VOL.63/91 in curbing the spread of the Coronavirus.

A circular was issued instructing all Universities to shut down for the next one month starting from the 23rd of March 2020.

Given the above, the Management of the Nile University of Nigeria will be shutting down all activities in the University for one month starting from the 23rd of March 2020.

Our courses will be provided by our lecturers according to the timetable schedule by using google classes and zoom meetings as live lectures while the Camtasia program will be used for recorded lectures.

Staff Vacation is subject to the arrangement of Heads of Unit because of ongoing services to students. We do not want any of our staff to travel within or outside the county should in case their physical presence be required.

All staff are to be available and reachable via mail and mobile lines should there need to contact anyone. We should all adhere to the safety measure and be safe within this period.

Should there be a case of infection of any staff, the University Management is available to offer support, please notify the Management by contacting the Registrar.

Just In: Police Arrest Suspect With Explosive Device In Kaduna Church

The police in Kaduna State say they have arrested a middle-aged man with dangerous items suspected to be Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at a Church located at Sabon Tasha area of Chikun local government area of the state.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Yakubu Sabo, told our correspondent, that the suspect, one Nathaniel Samuel was apprehended by security officials at the Living Faith Church during Sunday Church service with a bag containing explosive devices.

He disclosed that the suspect has been taken to the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department for further interrogation on what was his motive for entering the church with the baexplosive-devkavQited. All rights reserved.

Very good. Keep him locked up until he get some sense. If there is trouble in Nigeria, he will run away to the US.

There was no fire outbreak. It was one of the inverter battery that started the massive smoke but it was quickly contained and there was no injury or loss of life.

If this happens to a church in any Muslim dominated state there would have been screaming headline on Christian's persecution in all the major news media. The hypocrisy is just too much in this country
