Weakest Armies in the world
Another nonsense, so the Philippines military that even have a more decent navy than Algeria is amongst the world's most weakest armies in the world and I can find North Korea and Africa's fourth most powerful military in this video and I can't stop to wonder what happened to the remaining 50 Africa countries and why are this countries not on the list eg (Central Africa republic)

The story no clear grin grin grin

Luxembourg, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Botswana...... All prosperous( all be it small nations)......what Ethiopia has is a large population and until recently a fast growing economy, they had all the prerequisites needed to become a regional power, also its fantasy to think all of Ethiopias neighbours would close there borders all at once.
You need to understand that this countries you just mentioned are not even relevant in Europe

British and some European countries are powerful today, is because of the way seas and oceans were used by their navies in the early age of civilization.

A country without maritime borders can not be a regional Power, today look at all the big and significant countries in the world you will not find any land locked country amongst them.

Besides you need maritime trades in significant level to be able to influence your neighbor

And what you said about all your neighbors can not close their borders at the same time is very funny, there are different scenarios that can leed to such action.

Geopolitics has changed very fast when Russia invaded Ukraine.

The US now See's Nigeria as a very strategic partner, let's take India for example there were times when the US would not partner with the Indians for anything the US won't sell weapons to India forcing India to make Russia it's sole arms supplier but now the US is trying to reduce India's dependents on Russian made weapons.

After Russia's invasion of Ukraine the US parliament all of a sudden approved the sale of AH attack helicopters and I asked myself where did all those human rights abuse concerns disappeared to after it blocked the sales for months and things were looking very bad and every one was thinking the sales will not go through

The US now See's Nigeria as the largest Nation and also the largest democracy in the African continent and has now started it's campaign to drow Nigeria close and make her a strategic partner

According to the US ambassador in Abuja today: there's always a war between autocracy and democracy and Nigeria is the largest democracy in Africa which makes her strategically important to the US

If you read what was said by the representative of the SNC company you will understand that the US is trying to get more of it's equipments into the armed forces of Nigeria by doing so we will be one of their puppets in the UN and don't be surprise if a day comes and the US offer's Nigeria the same deal it offered Egypt which means the US will be funding a portion of the Nigeria defense budget this fund would be used to purchase only American weapons

And don't forget Nigeria is a potential member of the UN permanent security council

I just don't know why the southies always cry when ever Nigeria is ahead of them,
Please study those figures well and you will notice that you only pass Nigeria in the table by the amount of money you owe other countries and their banks,

EXTERNAL DEBT

If any southie can show any website that shows South Africa 2022 defense budget is larger than that of Nigeria, I Will PERSONALLY DECLARE THE SOUTHIES THE WINNERS

According to the Nigerian parliament N1.2 Trillion was allocated to defence(including capital expenditure) that would equal around $2.8 billion
So this year Nigeria has 2.8 billion dollars to spend on recruitment, military infrastructure, arms purchase and recurrent expenditures AND WE ALREADY SPENT ABOUT 1 BILLION Dollars ON 12 ATTACK HELICOPTERS AND STILL ORDERED 2 SHIPS

Nigeria spend money on defense from two sources

1 Frome the national budget
2 from the executive covers( money giving to the president or to the executive arm of government to enable it carry out it's duties)

Go make some research and you see that the Nigerian armed forces always spends more than it's defense budget.

Thank you sir ( the only man that knows the defense budget of every country in the world) grin grin grin

those Budgets are not correct my bru.... They are different to the ones presented by each countries own treasury... I would like to know the source of that infographic
I know your problem with this report, it's because south Africa has the lowest budget among the top 5.

Tell me do you think South Africa in the past three years spends more than Nigeria in defense budget? If you say yes to this question then you will have to explain how Nigeria buy weapons every year and South Africa don't and you still have to explain how many brigades are in the south Africa army and the total number of military personnel's in but Nations so that we can understand you better
