CookieBrown:You are not addressing birds of the air, are you? Whatever the 13% given to Nigerdelta is recovered through the myriad states and local government areas unduly proliferated all over northern Nigeria. |
Gerrard59:Lol!! One of the most fearful capital cities in Africa to live in. You ask, how many people struggle to buy land again in Abuja since Boko started? |
Boko Haram can't stop until leaders of 12 northern Nigeria states renounce the adoption of sharia criminal laws. Boko Haram says it is fighting for a country governed with sharia criminal laws. Nigeria is getting financially crippled by Boko Haram. |
CSTR2:Media attacks do not move Islamists. The objective of the attack is to export Islam to the east at the long run. The attack was to cow the easterners to submission at the appropriate time when the real Jihad starts. Boko Haram and Fulani whatever - both have the same objective: Islamization/Arabization of all of Nigeria. So the media war against Fulani whatever and Boko Haram is like media war against ISIS, or media war against the Taliban, media war fuels them the more. Like Senator Ali Ndume rose and spoke in the senate after listening to eastern senators, including Ben Bruce in their speeches, Ndume said all he heard was lamentations from the eastern senators, no concrete action plan. Fulani loves one Nigeria through which Fulani govts of Nigeria channel Oyel money to Fulanis in Nigeria, Niger Republic and Chad. Only thing that can move Fulani to stop is serious talk of dissolution of One Nigeria. |
Was the Enugu massacre not state-sponsored? It came a few weeks after DSS invented the story that five Fulani people were found buried in mass grave in Abia state. Fulani has a promise that every Fulani killed must be revenged many times. A day before the crime, Enugu state govt assembled heads of police, army and other organisations in the state and told them that information was gathered about Fulani planning an attack against that Nimbo area. But the security agencies must have been decommissioned that night with orders from higher above when the Fulani criminals struck. After the crime, northern govs said Fulani must not be insulted. Senator Ndume after listening to Eastern senators said all he heard was lamentations, no concrete action. Methinks, only the word "secession" rings bell on the ears of the Fulani who love one Nigeria like a girl loves gifts. |
Abdul4trust1:Your Abooooki fathers introduced hate, ethnic and religious bigotry into Nigeria. How do you explain your Aboooki fathers creating too many states and political constituencies in the north through which most of OYEL and VAT money from the south are funneled to the north? . And using Abuja as federal capital, more and more of the oil revenues go to be spent on Abuja which is also north. How do you explain your Abooookis now using their undue large number of political representation in the National Assembly to hold strongly to an increasingly over-centralized unitary government system that enables you take most of the oil wealth from the Niger delta and spend it on the north and Abuja? |
CFCman:You lie, even to your teeth. Soon, you may tell your gullible readers that Aso Rock was financed by private investors. |
CFCman:Most of Nigeria have no common pipe borne water to drink, not to talk about electricity; but a supposed human being is sitting down in Abuja with the thought of using $1 billion OYEL and VAT money to build these vain-glory things in Abuja anytime soon? Must this unitary government system be used by northern Nigeria to kill all Nigerians, before Nigerians kill unitary government system? |
Abdul4trust1:But you don't get riches elsewhere and export the riches to develop Dubai. What wealth does Abuja generate to Nigeria's coffers? |
obaino860:Niger delta governors are not the most corrupt set of governors. If you use N10 million to build 1km of road in the north, you need N50 million to build similar road in the wet terrain of the Niger delta areas. Stop tying a rope to a dog's neck to drown the dog. Nigeria can't continue for long to be using unitary government system to exploit Nigerians in building these vain-glory twin towers and others in Abuja while most of Nigeria remain very rural with mostly poor population. That's typical Fulani idea of development - a few are rich, while majority are impoverished. |
ObinnaIzuora:First: examine yourself. |
CFCman:Fiscal federalism. It's foolish to continue to believe that Nigeria shall continue to remain as it is: strong unitary government in Abuja which collects oil revenues and VAT from all over Nigeria to fund those vain-glory projects you are planning for Abuja, while. majority of Nigeria's citizens remain poor. There has to be a limit to ever thing, including robbing Peter to pay Paul through a unitary government system. |
CFCman:. Are you designing America's Twin Towers for Abuja? When oil money stops, you use ground nut proceeds to maintain the buildings. |
ObinnaIzuora:Mugu or divide-and-rule wannabe? Lots of Igbo land produce the oil and gas which Nigerian parasites feed on. Lots of Igbo land are Niger delta areas also. If ever you are from the SS, know that ignorance is a huge disease. The ignorance of some forefathers who joined Aboooki to fight the east in the 1960s have made the Niger delta area losers. |
Get crude oil from the Niger delta, spend the money in northern Nigeria. Niger delta remains rural and polluted. This is real defeat from war and later colonization. All things been equal, Niger delta area should have been competing with Dubai in development today. |
ellovee:Southerners well-informed about Kwankwaso would rather vote Buhari to remain president, if possible, until Kwankwaso is no longer able to contest. |
SamuelAnyawu:Ethno/religious bigotry, Kwankwaso is worse than Buhari. Kwankwaso hardly sees any body outside his religion and tribe as worth anything. |
Lol, PDP shall be like Mexico's Institution Revolutionary Party, (PRI). PRI ruled Mexico for about 70 years until about 2002 or so, the opposition party defeated PRI. Mexicans experienced excruciating pains under the new ruling party. So the party hardly lasted for four years before Mexicans returned PRI back to power. |
Pennsylvania:The only language in Nigeria that makes Fulani afraid is talk of dividing Nigeria. No other language. So southern people must understand that. Twittering has no lethal weapon attached. So one can twit from today till the end of the world, Fulani, including their leader, Buhari, is not modern enough to listen to twits. Repeat, the only fear of Fulani about Nigeria is the possibility of Nigeria breaking up. |
greatiyk4u:The state governor you blame, he may be impeached if he empowers Enugu people to fight back against Fulani. Nigeria's political structure guarantees Fulani the political majority to impose any governor in the south east. |
Lai is truthful here. Boko Haram can't be defeated so long as Nigeria harbours groups that share same religious beliefs - like use of sharia criminal laws - with Boko Haram |
Abagworo:All of you paid bloggers, it's only a JJC that does not know you all. Keep on fooling your principal. You and your Principal don't seem to understand that a time shall come soon when you shall be out of Douglas House, Owerri. By then, it shall be one against the council. |
B2mario, I have got no time for any N100 per comment blogger. You still haven't found a job? |
DelGardo:And how about other similar Fulani attacks, if this for you is not true? It's no point being diversionary with little journalistic errors. |
ONLY A FOOLISH PERSON FROM THE SOUTH OF NIGERIA CAN FROWN AT TALK ABOUT DIVIDING NIGERIA. SUCH TALK IS THE ONLY FACTOR THAT CAN RESTRAIN FULANI INVADERS OF SOUTH OF NIGERIA. FULANI LOVES ONE NIGERIA MORE THAN A GIRL LOVES GIFTS. |
TALK ABOUT DIVIDING NIGERIA IS THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES FULANI AFRAID. Fulani eats from, and depends upon south of Nigeria. Agric in the north was developed by Oyel money from the south. Fulani wants one Nigeria which it can use government policies to completely Islamize. So only thing that can restrain Fulani from violence and Islamization of Nigeria is talk about dividing Nigeria. |
Na foolish Igbos yet to join IPOB de give Fulani herds men impetus. There's nothing that makes Fulani more fearful and restrained from violence than talk about dividing Nigeria. |
NonFarmPayrol:Ah, na people of SS give them the opportunity na. If SS fully cooperate with SE for another country, who will now think of sending troops to go and fire those fighters for resource control now called vandals in the SS? |
SleekMallam:Divide Nigeria? What do you give Omos who, more than north, believe that no country can survive without crude oil? Even north has carved out its own sharia country waiting for the D-Day. .But Omos continue to fight for one Nigeria. The ferocity with which Omos attack IPOB is amazing. |
mile12crises:Senseless Igbos? There are many of them. Many of them would rather remain Lagosians and Abujans than join the struggle. At the right time, Omo and original land owners of Lagos and Abuja shall tell these senseless Igbos that the lands were merely leased to them to build on. |
Lol, When only a minister Fashola was meant to carry the burden of providing motorable roads, provide electricity and houses all over Nigeria. Is Fashola and Nigeria not meant to fai? It is failure written in bold writing. |
Presbulg:Blame PMB? Yes. Because during his political campaigns, he once promised to return fiscal federalism to Nigeria. APC manifesto also contains return to True and Fiscal federalism to Nigeria. So what are APC and Buhari waiting for before they embark on returning True and Fiscal federalism to Nigeria so that every state or region shall start to use what is on its environment to develop its people and land and contribute tributes to a lean federal government? |
