@obiakpor, Some days ago in an Anambra state thread, you suggested Anambra people to stone Gov. Obianor. You said you live in Awka and posted the pictures below as Awka after rain fall. But worse scenes in St. Joseph Catholic Church area in the centre of Orlu occur every slight rain. All pleas to Gov. Okorocha to complete a gutter started by his predecessors to channel rain flood into a nearby valley have fallen on deaf ears. The church's surroundings have for years been wet. Risk is that it may collapse with worshipers inside it. Instead, Okorocha builds tunnels and flyovers and near skyscrapers in the state capital. It's dangerous to lead a state through hateful mind set. For the 27 hospitals and how they shall be equipped and run well, wait and see. Gov. Obianor caters for all his Anambra state.

Hospitals or......buildings? With small hospitals in the 27 local government areas to serve as consulting clinics, what Imo state now needs are three big hospitals in its three senatorial districts; well equipped, possibly, each specializing in different areas of health care, but each must conduct blood, urine, faeces, tissue and other tests, preventive health care, as well as conduct health research. Do you equip the 27 general Hospitals with mere beds or with modern hospital equipments? Money from where? Hospital equipment are most expensive and updated frequently; which state government can equip and update the equipments in 27 big hospitals as in Imo state, and sustain the system? |
Nelkoko:What are you looking Buhari for? Have you not heard Buhari's Minister Kachikwu said that Chinese manufacturing companies will come to Nigeria, set up their manufacturing firms, manufacture in Nigeria, then export the products back to China? Lol!!! Voodoo Economics. |
contactmorak:It could have been rolled tobacco. How did they know it was weed? |
Because of selfishness, Imo state governor Rocha cheated out his home political constituency - Ideato/Orlu, denied the area needed development infrastructure. It takes a few years for the roads meant to lead to his private Univ. to decay, if not maintained. Eastern Palm PRIVATE UNI? Lol. Lawyers, especially those from OWERRI, are already shuffling their papers waiting for 2019. Some one who believes he is a smart bloke can easily fool one or two persons at one point, but never the public all the time. Prof. E. from Owerri saw far in 2012 when he wrote the article: "A CLOWN IN DOUGLAS HOUSE." Many of us now regret our counter-attack on the Prof over the article. |
Imo state is unfortunate to have a leader who goes to bed and wakes up every day conjuring images of assumed enemies from some sections of the state, hence the leader goes to bury his head like a peacock on the sands of the state capital. Roch played tricks WITH UNFINISHED AND YET TO BEGIN PROJECTS HE PROMISED OUTSIDE THE STATE CAPITAL.first term. People voted him second term only because they were hoping he would start and finish the development projects he promised. On getting second term, he became more obsessed with state capital, and kicked the asss of those outside the state capital who voted him. What a smart politician he thinks he is. Lol.... A politician that satisfies a small minority. ![]() |
RareDiamond:RareDiamond, to prove your point post any beautiful part of Imo state that is not Owerri on the thread: "Few Pics from Imo state" See government and provision of social infrastructures in neighbouring states: From neighbours Anambra state, we can see parts of the state as beautiful as the Owerri pictures in Awka, Onitsha, and in other towns. From neighbours Abia state, we can see beautiful places like Owerri in Aba, Umuahia and other towns. In neighbouring Delta state, we can see beautiful places like the ones in Owerri in Asaba, Warri, Ughelli, Sapele, etc. In Akwa Ibom state, we can see beautiful places like the ones in Owerri in Uyo, Ikot Ekpene, Abak, etc. But in Imo state, you people continue to be deceived by a government that cuts corners by cutting off rest of Imo state since 2012 after dualuzing one or two streets in Okigwe and Orlu, with some rural roads; you get deceived by a government obsessed with state capital. |
Nelkoko:And the woman was chased from pillar to post by APC loud mouths. Sanusi of CBN deceived them - as usual - because Sanusi was fighting for power back to Arewa. Sanusi wanted to finish Jonathan government and floated stories of lost $50 billion. In another country, Sanusi would be called upon to substantiate his claims |
OWERRI is beautiful. This thread is about Owerri. Please quit smoking weed by saying Imo state is beautiful. The rest of Imo state outside Owerri remain abandoned property since its governor joined APC. THE MORE THE GOV. PAINTS OWERRI WITH NEW YORK COLOURS AND EVEN DIGS TUNNEL WHERE THERE ARE NO HILLS IN OWERRI, BUT CRUDELY ABANDONED HIS RESPONSIBILITIES IN OTHER AREAS OF THE STATE, THE MORE HE CLOSES HIS CHAPTER IN FUTURE POLITICAL PURSUITS. Iche na ndi mmadu wu ewu? You think people are goats. |
RIP, Some people, including many Igbos, seem to have sworn to keep Nigeria one, even if all humans in Nigeria are killed off. It's called herd mentality. They seem to be drugged and herded about by Fulani and their acolytes. Twelve northern Nigeria states had since drawn up a new Islamic country from Nigeria when they adopted sharia criminal codes. . But because most apolitical southern people refuse to look beyond the nose and ask relevant questions, they still believe in one Nigeria. |
richidinho:Fayose, ever focused at the right point. He grabs liars at the scrotum. |
joborskill:May your sins be forgiven by Allah. See how they farm cattle in modern times, not by grazing in the fields. Why do you people want to take Nigeria backward, instead of forward?
|
They are mocking the snail of Ubima , Rotimi. Is Rotimi's IQ not not equal to that of a snail? |
Ebukaobi:Lol, IPOBMANIA - an acute disease of fear of possible break-up of Nigeria by IPOB is tormenting someone. Going through more than 100 comments on NL made on threads even unrelated to IPOB, Ebukaobi dragged in IPOB for insulting. How else do we define madness? |
Ebukaobi:Wallahi, half education is a very big disease. And half-eductaion torments some sets of parasitic Nigerians. So this one tell his audience that force is what is used to hold a country one, united, and the country develops? |
omenka:Na people like you from outside the southeast de create the threads. Then others like you go join them to entertain yourselves. Who get time? |
Abagworo:Bwaaaaaaaa. This is not Imo state thread, if not, I now show, for example, the only entrance road about 1km to Imo state University Teaching Hospital. Orlu. Mud, dust, no asphalt except in front of the hospital since 2012. Students protest but no way. How could a state governor condescend very low to the abysmal low level of a local villager to conjure images of enemies in his mind 24/7, and use enmity to punish hundreds of thousands of people in an area of the state he governs? You think a governor who abandoned roads in and around a huge hospital like that to decay is okay in his mind set? I am not talking about the too many other roads he abandoned in this area which he unilaterally declared enemy territory since 2012. |
Uncontrolled laughter is like hysteria. It's a sign of severe depression. Amaechi's close relations must watch him closely this time; because it's quite obvious that Amaechi knows that lots of people now know that he is losing a lot of things, including political clout. In fact, he is beginning to realize that his quarrel with his fellow SS man Jonathan, and the results make their south south people losers. Only a person without conscience can withstand such pressure bearing upon Amaechi now, more so, since the Calabar-Lagos rail lines imbroglio. Put straight: Amaechi's laughter is depression laughter. Any politician who makes enemies with his home constituency while on power gets knackered before long. |
Abagworo:Did you see the splendid environment of Anambra State University Teaching Hospital, at least? Your friend and Imo governor swore that Imo state shall not develop beyond Owerri, since 2012. Una de fool people with two to three roads expanded in other Imo towns outside Owerri. Some one who 24/7 conjures images of enemies against him in his area of ancestry, such a person must not aspire to be political leader. Because such a person can extend his poisonous mindset in punishing other neighbours. |
Ilovemystate:..... and three major cities that are fast developing. While in one state in the south east, the governor has reduced the once two to three growing cities in the state into rubbish after attempts at dualizing two or three streets in them. Since then, obsession with the state capital has made the governor pour every income of the state in building vain glory edifices only in the state capital. |
Only clowns believe that because a town was named the capital of a state, more of the state's resources should go to provide development infrastructure in the state capital than in the other towns in the state. Clowns have that belief, and they can be found even among the top leadership of two south east states. Anambra governors so far have been paying good development attention to all areas of Anambra state, including Onitsha, Awka and Nnewi. Anambra people must avoid electing governors that believe that a state was created to have nearly all the development infrastructure in the state in the state capital. Awka must be given its own share of development, but not at the negligence of other areas of Anambra state. |
Alixe:You ignore the biggest elephant in the China-shop -- the IPOB People. Perhaps, because they don't carry arms, you don't understand that they are the greatest threat to sweet one Nigeria with sweet crude? |
@omenka is not bothered; is he not busy doing the dirtiest fight for Fulani against IPOB - like in the 1960s. Fulani and Benue fight is a brotherly fight. They shall settle very soon. |
Schematics:Is Abagworo from Imo state? From all indications, Abagworo is a political appointee for propaganda, but from Middlebelt. |
No be amnesty pay off this new group want? The same way we are being tricked now that Nigeria has to pay ransom in the range of $50 to $100 million to have Chibok girls freed. |
donphilopus:APC members are more or less PDP members. Do you even understand that? |
donphilopus:Another Lai propagandist. Are you not merely buying time, like APC is now doing with Nigerians? |
Up Enyimba. |
tellwisdom:Tambuwal was PDP Speaker of the last House of Representatives who operated for the opposition party APC, for the sake of returning the presidency to his northern Nigeria. He is now APC governor of Sokoto state. That's Nigeria and its political process for you - every politician is driven more by tribal sentiments than for good of Nigeria. |
Lol, they will be released soonest and back to business. How can Buhari be president and Fulani herdsdmen get tried and possibly imprisoned? These herds men know that their oga is in control of Nigeria, that's why they started running wild in the last nine months. |
betterABIAstate:You have no political convictions if you hate IPOB. IPOB kicks against the political structure and governance system that impose selfish/clanish and barely educated leaders like those who have neglected your Aba for too long. |
Go to beautiful Umuahia. Abia is like Imo state where governance misfortune has made the two states be governed by every new governor as if a state was created for urban development and expansion of only the state capital. |
