Does Minister Amaechi understand that the coastal train route was proposed by Arewa to ease and further the exploitation of the wealth of the southsouth through such a train route easier for the designers to monitor, as it passes to the southwest, and onward to the north? Does Amaechi understand that if Nigeria were to be a good and one country, standard gauge rail lines in Nigeria are supposed to start to be built in the southsouth before the Kaduna to Abuja standard gauge rail lines about to be commissioned? Does he understand that if Nigeria were to be one country, the southsouth and other oil producing areas are supposed to be competing with Dubai's level of development today? Does Amaechi understand that, in truth, that train route being argued for to begin from the southsouth through the marshy coastal terrain is not meant to take off by its planners until Lagos to Abuja standard gauge rail lines are joined to Kaduna to Abuja standard gauge rail lines about to be commissioned? That's the unspoken plan. Does he understand that if those who conceived the idea to join the southsouth through a standard gauge train route to the rest of Nigeri meant well, they were supposed to design the route to pass from the southsouth through the southeast to Edo to Ondo to Oyo and to Lagos? But exploitation of the south south was in the back of the minds of those who conceived the southsouth coastal route to Lagos. How about the East-West road conceived on the same principle and started decades ago with billions of Naira it gulped without the road realized? |
Even the most ill-educated Economist must tell Nigeria that a rail route from Portharcourt or Calabar to Aba to Onitsha to Benin to Ibadan and to Lagos shall be much more cheaper to build, more profitable and easier to run and sustain, than a train route from the southsouth through the sparsely populated and unforgivable coastal landscape along and close to the Atlantic ocean to Lagos. But Arewa planners of Nigeria have another ulterior motive. The motive is that a coastal route they propose shall be easier for them to monitor for continued exploitation of the riches of the southsouth, as the route was designed to transport oil workers and oil products from the southsouth through the southwest and onward to the north, through the Lagos to Abuja standard gauge train lines meant to connect to the Kaduna to Abuja standard rail gauge lines that are ready for commission. That is all the hullaballoo about building an unarguably very expensive train route through the marshy terrain of a sparsely populated coastal route, in denial for a much cheaper-to-build train route through densely populated land areas from the southsouth through Aba to Onitsha in the southeast, to Benin to Ondo to Ibadan and straight to Lagos. |
Useless Poll. Even if President Buhari commits a glaring impeachable offense, he can't be impeached. Why? How? Nigeria's political structure of 36 states and Abuja was recreated by soldiers from Buhari's Arewa. State creation gave Buhari's Arewa clan the undue large number of political representation constituencies drawn from the undue large number of states proliferated in the former one northern federating unit by Arewa soldiers. Those Arewa soldiers created only 17 new federating units from the old two southern federating units. It's like dividing the large US states of Texas and California into eight new states each, but dividing the other smaller US states into two or three new states each; and draw equal numbers of senators from each of the new US states to the US Senate. That should be an intolerable Fraud, even if done after the smaller states were won in a civil war. No true federal country ever used land mass as criterion to create new federating units, except in Nigeria. But issue is that as Nigeria goes on with the fraud from state creation, New generations of Nigerians grow without understanding the fraud that took place from creating Nigeria into the present 36 states and Abuja political structure. Through this fraudulent political structure, north of Nigeria dictates to the south through political over-representation, as well as move much of Nigeria's resources to the myriad 19 states and Abuja in the north. This way, even if a northern president commits constitutional impunity, the president can't easily be impeached. Therefore, a poll that shows President Buhari's dwindling popularity is not quite relevant. |
Aufbauh:Lol, from your horse's mouth, politics is guard of interest, so Amaechi is protecting his own interest with his brand of politics, not the interest of his people. . Guy, you spoke horribly. Politics is never about guarding your own personal interests, but is for guarding the interests of your followers and those who voted you. But see how you gained the highest likes from your most 'Shofischicated' Horroba brothers and friends. |
What's Amaechi resigning for? Truth is that Calabar to Lagos standard gauge rail lines to run on the sparsely populated cosstal towns were designed to fail from conception. The design was meant by Arewa to further separate the south east from the south south and thus easily channel oil resources from the south south to Lagos for easier and onward transmission to the north, as well as move in and out the oil workers from the south west where oil companies headquarters are located. It's designed to further exploit the south south to total paralysis. But why couldn't the first standard gauge rail line in Nigeria not start to be built in the south south, instead of first in the north, that's the Kaduna to Abuja standard gauge rail lines that are about to be commissioned? A standard gauge rail lines from the coastal towns of the south south to Aba to Onitsha to Benin and down to Lagos should have been easier to build and maintain. But those who conceived the Calabar to Lagos route had bile and exploitation as the motive. Politicians from the south south and south east must not be fooled by this ruse of coastal rail lines. Calabar to Lagos coastal rail route is a flying proposal not meant to be captured in any budget proposal until Lagos to Abuja standard gauge rail lines are completed and joined to the Kaduna to Abuja standard gauge rail lines that are ready and about to be commissioned soon. |
americanigga:OP and this one above are the most deceptive faces of Nigeria. Truth is that: 1; There's nothing yet in any of Nigeria's budget for the proposed Coastal standard gauge rail lines from Calabar to Lagos, nothing was meant to be until the Lagos to Abuja standard gauge rail lines are completed to join the Kaduna to Abuja standard gauge rail lines that are about to be commissioned. 2; If and whenever Calabar to Lagos standard gauge rail lines are to start, they run on the coastal route, nothing like from Portharcourt or Uyo to Aba to Onitsha and to the southwest region, as shown above by this OP in his/her propaganda of Falsehood above. 3; The proposed Coastal rail route from Calabar to Lagos was conceived by its Arewa and southwest designers to cut off the core Igbo areas in the east from the south south. The objective is to further the divide and conquer and rule and exploit the south south and south east to near paralysis without both groups coming together to form any useful and strong opposition to fend off the rest of Nigeria exploiting the south south and south east. The conspiracy to keep the south south people siddon de look while outsiders use the oil revenues from the south south to develop elsewhere gave rise to the idea of the coastal train route. Oil producing areas of Nigeria are supposed to be looking like Dubai of today, but for al these divide and conquer and exploit policies of rest of Nigeria over the south south and south east. Or, why was the first ever standard gauge rail lines in Nigeria start to be developed in the north, instead of from the south south and south east that provide the bulk of the fund? Talk about Calabar to Lagos standard gauge rail lines is merely diversionary, to keep the south south and south east hopeful while Nigeria completes the Kaduna to Abuja to Lagos most expensive standard gauge rail lines. |
Only ugly mugus who can't afford the courage to toast a pretty babe or handsome man enjoy fcccuck and talk estories. |
cktheluckyman:Are you sure you were not told the home truth? Even if one million Igbos are killed today by Fulani, are you sure that Nigeria Igbos who are attached to One Nigeria because of their earthly business and landed property in Lagos and Abuja shall see the Igbo killings as evil, talk less defend Igbo and Igbo land? |
Excuzeme:Note: Even the much-vaunted Calabar to Lagos standard gauge rail lines are exploitative, designed to ferry out the wealth of the SS and the South east to Lagos and upward to the north. Tell, what returns to the South south and South east zones on the return route from Lagos? See una and southern solidarity, since when? |
tuale4u:If by any chance you are truly from the south south region, sorry to tell you that you remain one of those south south children still victims of divide and conquer and rule which has been used in the last fifty years to make oil producing areas of the south south near desolate. By I can stake some betting that you are from the group of self-assigned most "shophischicated" tribe in Nigeria. Or at best, you are south south from the fringes of Auchi, Agenebode or border with Benue state. People like you and those who voted you up are the real trouble with Nigeria. You spew hate, half truths, complete falsehood, all from point of view of absolute ignorance. We know the self-acclaimed most sophisticated group who voted you up. They still take the people of the south south as mugus who must be fcccucked by separating south south people from their Igbo neighbours, by introducing hate between the Igbos and rest of the southsouth. |
tuale4u:Ignorance is a disease, or you deliberately lied. Go get proper information by googling "standard gauge rail lines in Nigeria". Calabar to Lagos standard gauge rail line proposal is unique. The other attachments you added like connection to Aba to Onitsha to Ughelli and to wherever are mere proposals to come donkey years after Calabar to Lagos is completed, and of course after Lagos to Abuja to Kaduna must have been functional, perhaps ages uite different from the others After the Kaduna to Abuja standard gauge rail lines that are about to be commissioned for operation right now, next to follow immediately are the Lagos to Abuja standard gauge rail lines. Lagos to Calabar standard gauge rail lines are different from Portharcourt to Aba through Onitsha toward Benin which are only mentioned to be proposals in the distant future. |
tuale4u:You still believe that the SS people are mugus. The first standard gauge rail line is about to be commissioned in the north, Nigeria billed Lagos to Abuja standard gauge rail to follow immediately. Talk about the Calabar to Lagos standard gauge rail line has been on pipeline basis till now. Besides, given the unforgiving coastal terrain between the south south and Lagos, talk about Calabar to Lagos standard gauge rail line remains a pipe dream on a pipeline as those orchestrating it know. Calabar to Lagos standard gauge rail line is supposed to connect the SS oil to the Southwest and upward to the north, thus exclude the southeast. It was a grand line designed for total exploitation of what is left of the crude oil in the south south. If you people are not hypocritical about one Nigeria, the first ever standard gauge rail line in Nigeria should have been in the southsouth area, before any other part of Nigeria. If not for the grand conspiracy between the southwest and northern Nigeria to keep the oil producing areas of the southsouth permanently under developed, while the oil wealth from the south south is used to develop rest of Nigeria, development in the south south ought to be competing with that in Dubai today. See you see southern solidarity, see you see sophistication. You think you are fooling children in the south south and south east. |
Those who voted Buhari president have failed Nigeria. |
APC town cryers now turned New Wailers - they have realized what they did to Nigerians. How could any sane mind consider a man like Buhari who APC people say they knew was an economic illiterate to rule Nigeria in the 21st century; a Nigeria awash with all classes of young and very well educated professionals? |
The Nigerdelta area is supposed to be competing with Dubai development level today if some set of Nigerians outside the Nigerdelta areas take Nigeria as one country. Exploitation of the Nigerdelta areas to death is the creed in Nigeria by some sections of Nigeria. Calabar-Lagos standard gauge train line is a proposal conceived with bile. It was conceived like the EAST-WEST road to connect oil producing Nigerdelta states to Lagos and onward to the north. Today, after many decades and billions of Naira gulped, the EAST-WEST Road is not realized. The unforgiving coastal terrain from Calabar to Lagos: even Oyibo may find it difficult to build and maintain such road and rail line. They were both exploitation routes; routes meant to exploit and transport oil wealth from the Nigerdelta to the SW and northern areas where the oil wealth has been used for development for decades at the expense of development in the Nigerdelta areas. |
Lagos -Calabar Standard Gauge rail line was a design to connect the oil producing SS to Lagos, and onward to Kaduna, thus shunt out the southeast completely. This project has only been on the pipeline, but yet to be approved. This most expensive standard gauge rail thing, the Kaduna to Abuja standard gauge rail line is about to commissioned. It is billed to be followed by Lagos to Abuja standard gauge rail. But how come the first standard gauge rail in Nigeria was built in the north, instead of from Portharcourt to Warri or from Portharcourt to Aba to Uyo to Calabar from where Nigeria gets its crude oil proceeds? |
Abagworo:Orlu LGa is the most-populated and largest vote-bearing lga outside Owerri Municipality. Orlu voted Rochas for second term with the hope he would complete the roads and projects abandoned, and which are inflicting people with dust and diseases in the whole of Orlu. Okorocha won second term and has not done even a scratch of more than 100 meters on those abandoned roads in Orlu, not to talk of other projects also abandoned. You have shown this Amaigbo/Ihioma road dualized with the school built by Okorocha several times, for your info, there are two or three other short roads he dualized in Orlu, but that is not what Orlu should get from its Local govt federal allocations of five years of Okorocha govt. It's unfair. Okorocha is finishing his political career by satisfying only a section of Imo state - Owerri, take that to the CBN. |
Pchidexy:Lol, by 2019, it shall be too late to judge Okorocha, because he seems to now see a state as only about the state capital, more so, since he joined APC when he started to abandon the roads he started to build outside Owerri, and took to spending the state's allocations only on Owerri. |
Pchidexy:I am from Orlu. Where do you want me to be concerned about? Owerri? Did the federal govt create states for the state capital only? Abagworo can post Owerri photos as many times as he wants, the rest of Imo state are not confused. The projects Okorocha uses Imo state govt money to do in Owerri, if he spreads even one-hundredth of the projects toward Okigwe, Orlu, Oguta, Ahiara, Akokwa, Mgbidi etc, without abandoning roads he started outside Owerri, who will come here to have time about Okorocha and his government? |
ejiyke2007:The civic centre Abagworo is showing here is more or less like the Sam Okwaraji Stadium which Rochas dismantled in Orlu, and has not been able to build a new one after about five years he dismantled the stadium. It took Rochas govt less than six months to build the civic centre and other Squares he built in Owerri. |
Abagworo:What do you think makes me cry here over Okorocha's misdeeds in Orlu? I started a small scale manufacturing industry in one of the roads in Orlu when Okorocha contractors embarked on some road expansions in Orlu - the govt later abandoned the roads for building flyovers and bypasses and all sorts of buildings in Owerri - even where nobody lives. You people clap as Okorocha uses Imo state coffers to satisfy a tiny minority in Owerri, at the detriment of the rest of Imo state. By 2019, you shall do "ntoor gi" Rochas Okorocha, laugh at him, when majority of Imo state abandons him and his politics. |
Pchidexy, Name one Service industry that can contribute N1 million tax to Imo state govt coffers in a year. But one of the bypass roads built by Okorocha in anticipation of expansion of Owerri could cost Imo state govt more than N5 billion. As Okorocha uses Imo state and 27 local government councils allocations to build road byepasses, flyovers, Bongo and other Squares in Owerri, 18 storey House, while roads he started and abandoned in Orlu choke people with dust, you people clap. Owerri has no manufacturing and Service industries that can contribute even one-millionth fraction of the billions of Naira which governor Okorocha uses in building his projects in Owerri at the neglect of rest of the other LGAs in Imo state. Lots of things have been going wrong in Okorocha's Imo state. |
Uncompleted roads every where, some left for death traps in Orlu: this is Amaigbo Road, Orlu's most traveled road.
|
ROYALD:Owerri has no manufacturing or service industry, the taxes of Owerri can't build even one of the good roads Owerri which you display. The lack of basic knowledge by a state governor that the capital development budget of the state is meant for provision of development infrastructure to all parts of the state; not in the state capital alone; that's what you are celebrating. Oil boom has now finished. Enjoy below part of the ruins of Orlu as done by this govt.. 1, Old Owerri road, a road most clustered with population in Orlu scrapped and abandoned running to four years.. 2, Road to only Girls secondary School - Morning Star - in Orlu Urban, scrapped and abandoned running to four years. 3, another ruins of Orlu running to four years 4, a four years abandoned road at the centre of Orlu
|
ROYALD:Now show the main road to IMSUTH, Orlu. Not the yet to be cut portions at the middle. He/She must be EVIL who has to tell lies in order to sustain Imo state as one city state of Owerri. |
Last time, it was lies that IPOB and MEND hijacked foreign ships on international waters. This people think that IPOB is like Jonah who they sacked with lies and campaign of falsehood, and threw Nigeria into hardship. |
My good people of Imo state; More than two years after our governor Okorocha promised repairing the only road to IMSUTH, Orlu, which has been bad as shown below since Owelle became guvnor, and a year after IMSU students protests over the road and other matters; no action yet. The road measures about 1.2km long. But since then, Owelle has developed new roads, new layouts, new flyovers, new dual carriage ways, in Owerri, even in areas where no body lives in Owerri - in anticipation of expansion of Owerri City. What is in Owelle's mind? Is this how we build our Imo-one-city-state?

Tired of mobile phones. I was thinking ntel is all about restoration of landlines to Nigeria. Oyibo who introduced mobile phones can't touch mobile phones if there's land line available. Landlines are the most efficient and secure mode of telephone communication. |
Blame Tinubu also for his greed. Buhari thrice rejected in the polls announced his retirement from politics. Tinubu calculated the damage Boko has done to Jonathan's image as president, Tinubu went to Daura where Buhari was communing with his cattle and begged Buhari to come out to contest. Boko had then finished Jonathan and his government. Then they started rumours of $50 billion missing from NNPC to finally quench Jonathan government. Where is the missing billions of dollars? Buhari became president. First thing, Tinubu's Fowler was appointed to head the FIRS, the second money mill for Nigeria after the Petroleum ministry. |
freeze001:Lol. Guess what Buhari went to the US Environment conference for. The foreign powers that indirectly campaigned for Buhari last election have gotten what they wanted in Nigeria. They must be laughing at our stupidity now. They labelled Buhari who sacked a democracy with all the positive attributes, presented him for Nigeria's messiah, in a Nigeria awash with all classes of young and well-educated professionals. |
Luckylife:YES, The population in southern Nigeria who are taken for cattle by the north must be taken back to the stone age, unless they quickly understand the huge difference in value systems between northerners and southerners. Over to the apologists of One Nigeria indivisible. |
RIP Sam. You did not volunteer, but was forced to do the national service; you were killed by Nigeria, a country which only very few people who have sense can volunteer to die for. |
