taharqa: Apart from the general improvements in d indicators of the budget since he came(reductn of Recurrent from 78% in 2010 to 68.7% dis time, reductn of Overhead from about about 500b in 2010 to about 200b dis time, reductn of deficit from about 2.9% in 2010 to 2.18% dis time, etc ) as a practical person am more impressd by d practical incentives in terms of taxes and excise duties the govt is putting in place to attract serious investors, increasd industralisatn and create jobs- the 0% duty for Sugar relatd equipment( including a 5yr tax holiday), 0% duty for aircraft parts(smthing the d aviatn guys hv bn pleading for for yrs) and bus spare parts etc. Add all these to those already done for cassava, rice, cocoa, oil palm etc( which are already hving sm impart) and of course d recent 30% infrastructure tax rebate for industries as well as 10% tax rebate for employing more than 10 workers- this is not only practical LEADERSHIP but also putting actions to one's plans. Very commendable..i was also impressd by d fact dat sm real practical emphasis was placed on women, which is important if one is serious in reducing poverty.....this was not just a mere budget Speech but containd practical outlines to achieving sm of its aim; hopefully d implementatn wud improve just as d Speaker insistd it shldThe positive pointers we have been waiting for. It shows directional leadership with proper laid down pathway. We all pray and hope for proper and complete implementation. |
Demdem: fool, av i answered ur question? if i have, why dont u just admit that u are wrongImagine a foo.l calling an intellect a foo.l. You suck! |
Louis88: Late budget presentation has always been one of the excuses that everybody been giving for poor implementation, this is one area that this govt recognized and decided to set things straight,at least now that GEJ has identified this problem and has successfully solved it like he said he would,I believe this is a strong indication that he wants the budget to succeed and impact on the lives of every Nigerian, because this is a challenge that he is giving to his cabinet, they have no excuse not to implement fully now, see, the man really wants things to work in this country.Say it again. |
Demdem: Did u see in my post where i actually praised the Retardeen for presenting it earlier this time around unlike the one he presented last year? look, 3 months is not too much for both houses to do justice to the budget . its in order, even with holidays they spent 3months.Let us see what happens this time. My own is for fast and accurate implementation. |
Demdem: i know u love to be disgraced. am at home for u.Check my question fo.ol! You just aired your stupidity on this forum. |
Pupita: Oga MANDELAGUY,abeg, leave this mumu wey no get level. Someone that is drowning will always grasp for straws.Accepted! |
billyG: this nairaland forum is now an avenue 4 jobless youths to vent their frustation,a forum with no moderator this forum allows pple to spread hatred, cast aspersion on others, spread rumours, assassinate characters, breed religious hatred, ridicule pple, call 4 pple head, spread tribalism, enthnocentrism how can a loose lady go to a social media to shout that somebody impregnate her without DNA test & some stupid folks are calling 4 his head where yu there when he was impregnating her,was d fool posing as dino's brother -in-law there?we hav more serious matter pressing us or is this d 1st time a wayward lady got impregnated by a man,has d endemic corruption in nigeria also affect our brain that we dnt think clearly despite our level of education we seem 2 hav cultivated these "mob & band wagon mentality" those days pple are taking this ordinary matter to far how does this affect d price of d mass consumed garri which in more importantAsk some of us that know his escapades at crystal lounge and Ibiza,he is highly irresponsible, when it comes to women,Dino has no self respect. |
Demdem: Oga, shut up if u cant substantiate ur alleged Lie.Like I told you, check my earlier banters with you as early as may,June this year. I cannot cheapen myself to your market bickering level. |
Demdem: Oga get ur facts right. The retardeen submitted the 2012 proposals to Nass very late (Middle december 2011) and the NASS completed work by march 2012. Considering the holidays in between, i believe both Houses were fast enough ( approx 3months)Anu mpam! Wench was the budget passed? When did retardeens like you start querying the president about full implementation? How many months did it take them to pass a budget that was supposed to take care of this year? Why am I responding to a confusion like you? |
I asked Dino about his constant hard on and the array of girls he keeps parading,he asked me if I am a saint....Kai! Na so him wan take finish our money for womanising? |
Demdem: U can decide to keep faith in him, no yawa. also to those of us that wants him to dissapoint us (afterall, its for our good), respect that. Again, implementation is where i will reserve my praise for and not budget preparation. thats petty. Is this swallat reading my post at all,are all of us not pitching for speedy passage, full implementation and proper monitoring? |
Vogue50: Nice one from the executive arm. We hope and believe that the executive will give a speedy passage of the bill. Fiscal year should commence by January to enable full budget implementation before December next year. There is still hope for this country .2012 budget took them 5 months to pass and right thinking human beigns came after 3 months asking why there could not be full implementation. This country should learn to put things straight. |
Demdem: so u dont even know that the wise multi-task. are u this dumb?Lol. As if your brain can process more than one information at a time. Lwkmd! |
Demdem: Nigeria has always had beautiful budget. It didnt start today neither will it end today also. Implementation has always been our problem. even budget 2012 wasnt bad at all except the recurrent part IMO however what is our story today?Good budget,we are waiting for passage and full implementation,it will start the full transformation cycle, like I Keep saying,I have faith in GEJ he is striving to make a change. Supporting him is our best shot,so that we can shut out the bad eggs that are bent on keeping this country in the clutches of backwardness and poverty. |
Demdem: Common, dont be a coward. u started it rememberCheap fools like you are better at the market place. I am listening to the joint session and budget presentation, fools will not pay attention, later they will allude to what they read on Sahara reporters. Mtcheeeeeew! |
Captainajama: I am impressed, I followed it from start to finish, we are waiting for passage and full implementation, and I believe that the early presentation and passage will lead to full and positive implementation. I know we can get it right....nice one GEJ. Keep up he good fight. You have a good point. Speedy passage will lead to proper timing for full implementation and monitoring, and like the speaker of the house of rep just said, their should be transparency, monitoring and full utilisation of our resources, just as he promised the speedy passage we all crave for. Let us see them make a sincere change. |
Demdem: u have all the time in the world to join mandelaguy in searching for where I GOT MY HANDS BURNT. Jokers united. Are you trying to drag captainajama into our banter? I bet you,he will finish you, anyways, let me leave you for lesser men, you never reach. |
Captainajama: I will not waste my time searching through the my rich archives just for a confused man like you, I will still address this issue, let me finish with the presidents budget,at least, that is more important for now.Thank you my brother for putting the fool in his place. Have been at the budget presentation, and that is more beneficial that raising his failed ego. |
Demdem: Am among the thousands of Nigerians that go to their sites to seek info every other day. What is wrong with that? and what is wrong with the post u qouted? It is only a fool that will be told a proverb and given the definition, that means the money spent on he mother's marriage was a waste. |
Demdem: Am among the thousands of Nigerians that go to their sites to seek info every other day. What is wrong with that? and what is wrong with the post u qouted?Younare as confused as SR, seeking cheap popularity will not spare ur hide |
It is happening live, let me see the idiot that will say GEJ has no sense of direction, the man knows what he is doing. President Goodluck Jonathan has proposed a total expenditure of N4.92 trillion for the 2013 fiscal year.www.channelstv.com/home/2012/10/10/jonathan-presents-n4-92-trillion-2013-budget-to-national-assembly/ |
Demdem: On this issue i can discuss well on because i followed the stories well unlike the others. Yes SR claimed the retardeen went to Brazil with a world record delegate. Abati the liar as usual denied it. earler he was asked by SR (during CHOGM) and he denied and promised to furnish SR with the complete list by the time he gets back from his hotel room. Till date we are still expecting Abati to leave his hotel room and come back to furnish us with this list. Till proven otherise by ABATi, its true that the Retardeen went to brazil with a world record number of delegates.I did not want to believe you were part of the SR's family, now I know, from your post....why won't you rant? |
Demdem: DedeiLie, U and I know that u are legendary on this forum with ur lies. Thats a known fact. I prefer to stick with SR than U.Don't let me bring out threads where you pitched your stupid tent with SR in the past andbgotbur fingers burnt. Will you ever learn DEMDEM? I have been involved in war of words with you and your friends in the past, only fr you to back down and grudgingly accept the truth,so long as it is coming from one of your perceived friends. I am not and will never be your friend on this forum, but please spare us he rhetorics of imperfection or goofing by other media houses in the past. What we are talking about here is the intellectual and media blunder continuously committed by your partners in crime....SR's,d s a favor and ell them to be sure before going to press or watch m likes finish what is left of their miserable media house. As if they can sand legal actions for all their published lies. |
In my village, there is a saying that you cannot hide pregnancy with your hands.......Sahara desert is very hot o! |
Captainajama: Pupita, you will not kill me today. Yeah, someone like Dedeike and MANDELAGUY kept warning us about these bunch of liars, they demystified them for those of us capable of discerning the truth,it's a shame that when beaf was shouting,he was almost the lone voice in the wilderness, now we know those that are credible. Like I said sometime ago, I can sit in my house and concort lies and spread it on the Internet, these days that threads go viral without established evidence. All the lies the printed against GEJ and his govt has come crashing down on them, this time, they bit more Han they could chew. I for one, will not rest till I see them brought to disrepute and tender unreserved apologies to Nigerians for all the lies they have fed us with. Sahara ko,Sahara ni !wait a minute, I think it is time to go through old threads and bring out all the lies these bunch of cowards threw at us in the past. Now, is the time to attack and chase away all peddlers of falsehood, bent on bringing Nigeria down. |
ubandire: Have I not been vindicated?yesterday when I saw the rubbish SR released about the hon minister abandoning USA cos of the protests I hurriedly countered it cos I had seen pictures and clips of the very successful parade held in new York.check my posts on this bunch of thwarted liars called Sahara reporters, I have always shouted about their lies and fought against those that value their prints as if it was the holy Bible or holy Quran. Now, time is proving my likes right. Time is telling everyone tha some of those labelled as 40 laptop crew were actually standing n the path of truth and coud sniff liars from 10 miles. Saliars Retwisters at work, digging their own grave and spelling their doom. |
emindu: THERE comes a time in the history of a people when God blesses them with a leader with a particular mandate. For the people of Abia, aptly called God’s Own State, there is every indication that the supplication of the people unto their Maker for a divine lifting of afflicted yoke caused by long period of political and economic slavery has attracted divine intervention.Wait o! Where is this clown writing from? Don't let me catch you,anu ohia! You open your decayed mouth to praise T.A Orji? May Amadioha visit your abode...idio.ta! So, you don't know when a city is being destroyed? Each time I come home(as a proud Abia son), I weep, I weep because a supposedly God's own state has been overrun by people from hell with devil as their principal. Mtcheeeeew! |
banki: lol do you hear yourself.... Maku principled?Show me a more principled man. |
omenka: In other news, the Senate president has been advised by ordinary Nigerians, like yours truely, to shut dafuckup and go complete the Otukpo-Enugu road contract given his wife (front) since 2007! !!You can say that again bro! |
Can somebody sincerely say what Maku said to deserve all this stick? If am asked,David Mark is a more careless talker. |
Louis88: Wonders have ended bro. I thought David Mark was the only person who was dumb till I came on Nairaland. People who ordinarily should know better are wasting manhours over something as clear as resolution.Teach them the workings of democracy. |
Maku spoke as a principled man,he was quoted out of on text which is now a regular thing in Nigeria. |
