Look at how idiots are wishing another dead. It is only envy that will breed such malicious thoughts. Mtcheeeew! People sef. If they see someone wishing them dead, what will they think? Swallats! |
Nigerians are always making news. Weld one bruh! When I read about your promotion a couple of months back, I was impressed. Congrats! |
Lost in your own senseless satirical creation? What a pity! The man you try to belittle has more honour than @op! |
Everybody was misled in January, and people took to the streets, probably because the president offered subsidy removal as new year package. The truth is that subsidy has been breeding looting and heavy corruption. I was and still remain of the opinion that I should be removed completely, I only spoke against the timing, when people with limited resources had travelled the breath and length of this country. Nigerians are now wiser, and after the jamboree exposition of what has been going on In that sector, I don't think that any sensible Nigerian will advocate for the continuous payment of subsidy. We may all suffer for a while, but it will onl be temporary. Subsid should go please! |
My BB is gone,my galaxy tab, very nearly my iPad. I have gone back to Nokia and etisalat phone. My boys are something else with phones. I laugh when I See what they have done to their moms ,who told me I should be more strict with the kids. They simply love it, and each time they see you press and talk,it fascinates them, they even try grabbing it when you are making important calls and cry and raise hell if they are not indulged. My dear, forget expensive phones for now, till they get to 4,at least, they will be easily cautioned. I only bring out tablet when they are asleep. Even if you beat them, they will still react in the same pattern the next minute, |
Ufeolorun: Is he finally waking up? I am yet to conclude. It's in the interest of our country anyway.Who said he was sleeping before? We have always expected magic when I is not possible. I am enjoying GEJ'S approach to wor as regards repositioning and restructuring Nigeria. |
Barth made a wrong move and paid the ultimate price. I appreciate his efforts, but personal interests should always be laid aside when you have made up your mind to serve your nation.seeing his error,he did the right thing....resignation. |
My brother, don't mind them. They rush to the media to say anything, and after the storm blows over,we begin t get the actual picture of what is going on. |
Nice move. Fear has hindered people getting their freedom in the past, now and also will hinder them in the future. The North should no longer fear Boko Haram who has used the fear factor to subdue them. They should unmask the evil and those behind it. |
Ok |
The resolution at the federal executive council meeting was for the release of 40.2bn Naira for the completion of these two dams to enhance power supply and continue in the radical move to reposition the power sector. The Information minister Labaran Maku said that the delay in completion of the project was for certain irregularities which has been taken care of. Following the resignation of the power minister Prof. Barth Nnaji, the president said that he did not take over the power ministry as peddled by Nigerians, rather that a minister of state for power will be appointed. Speaking through Reuben Abati, the president made us to understand that he has taken special interest in the power sector and would not allow anything to hamper the giant strides been made in the sector. Gurara and ILE-ISHA will be completed within 12-18 months. |
GEJ will not disappoint us,he is set to make a change and he will. |
Good news. Very good news |
werepeLeri: Mtcheew. What is that? The guy has the right to speak for himself and the family. |
Good thinking, and I believe good product will ensue. |
It is a known fact that if we put our house in order,no country in the world can compete with us. This is probably the reason why enemies within and without are fighting vigorously to make sure Naija does not move forward, but shame on them. I put it to you that we do not need Obamas endorsement to voice a glaring truth. |
I have always known that the man is not what he seems to portray,I have always said it and people like IBB and Obasanjo are there to vindicate us when it concerns Buhari. He should just kee quiet and respect his old age. |
Buhari was saying 'general, baba general,I was just running to come and greet you sir',are you in a hurry? Ikemba: yes my boy, anyway how are you? Come over here. |
Are they now gonna be doing pregnancy test for Nigerian women @ British Embassies in 9ja b4 issuing visa? ![]() Why are they complaining, how about the non-refundable Visa application they swallow? It should worth £millions every year... Do you know how many 9jas are denied visa every year and how much they swallow? because of their 'non-refundable' policy?
They never see anything. Anyhow wey dem want, mak dem overhaul am,Naija no de cari last! |
Smart man GEJ |
Nice piece, makes reasonable sense. I love it! |
Nice piece,precise and sensible. |
However, like some fellow Nigerians, I'm having second thoughts about the man Goodluck Jonathan. Obviously, lots of things are wrong with his administration but he's making some risky bold steps which if successful could change the public perspective about him from a weakling to an intelligent president. PHCN is one of such.Since he (GEJ) became president, majority of Nigerians remain biased, because he did not ascend with the swagger they have come to associate with that office, a swagger that has yielded much corruption and hardship, with joblessness, and social vices becoming the order of the day. A swagger that bred militancy in the Niger Delta,Kidnapping in the East and Boko Haram in the North. He inherited a lo of baggage and if truth be told,he is no magician. Barack Obama promised a lot in an American Economy that many will say has had many years of right leadership and vibrancy, yet he struggles. I am not making excuses for GEJ, but if many people that use social media networks should come up with constructive criticisms(just the way you have done),we will not waste a lot of intellectual and productive time peddling lies and having unproductive and unnecessary arguements( just what Abati was trying to make people see). GEJ will perform, the markers he is setting are gradually speaking for him,and Nigerians should not be in a hurry because if we hurriedly rebuild, everything will crash and all we are set to achieve will fail. My humble submission. |
jchime: @OP,you are mad.gej is de best thing to have happend to naija.go and tell your northern brodas to allow the man to perform....yawns and spits on OP...U de vex o! Hahahahahahahah. |
Begging should not be encouraged in any form. |
@op,u funny no be small. Anyway, when you travel abroad,dn't jump a queue. |
This is one of the reason for privatisation and unbundling of power in his country, there will no longe be monopoly and unnecessary control by a single body...get it? You guys should protest, and write to your governor to intervene,or any political office holder you people elected, shey na ACN state? |
This will always be an issue for discourse |
Blackteeth: The poster is talking about useless posts and he just created one.Maybe, you are one of the people we are trying to correct their anomalies. |
Stallion77: Exactly...like this one am commenting on. How useful is this ? Is this suppose to be in politics? Reasonable answers are welcomed, puppy fight insults are abhorred.Hahahahahahahah,we are trying to see if we can make people on this political platform check what they post, don't you think it is necessary? |
Apartt from the useful and interactive posts on Nairaland,People are beginning to generate useless and spiteful posts, should be keep quiet, should we comment when they post or allow the threads die naturally, why do you think useless posts are becoming the order of the day on nairaland? Contributions are welcome, while insults are abhorred. |
