I am a Yoruba Muslim but I have attended a lot of Christians friends' weddings, so I would like to ask.

Is it biblical for the pastor to ask if any third party stands against the Union of husband and wife?

And if anyone should say they stand against it, would the wedding be void and the marriage will not take place, I mean is that the end?

What is the significance of the third party, I mean why should it matter what they think?

Malam Nasir El Rufai's recent senseless, insensitive, divisive and satanic verses about nothing being wrong with muslims only holding leadership positions in Nigeria is enough to stop him from being a minister that will serve ALL Nigerians irrespective of their religious, political and social affiliations. Of recent, Malam Nasir El Rufai has become a huge disappointment. He should retrace his step because even the much revered and legendary late Sir Ahmadu Bello who was more dedicated to the Arewa cause than him didn't walk this dark road of religious hate. He needs to purge his head and heart and become a little open-minded for his well being. He should open up his heart and a ray of light in to be a good Muslim. He should open up the window of his mind and allow fresh air in to remain a balanced human being. He should rise and break the chain of negative extremism less he will die a slave of twisted political logic.

infact na me you dey refer to in this message. it is very normal. Na so me be. Further more, the place am sleeping must be dark, I must not face window, no noise at all, whether from phone Call, music, even discussion between 2 persons. If its day time, I dey use cloth cover eyes so reflection of light no go enter, so I can nap. I can't sleep straight from night till morning. Totally impossible. I dey wake every one hr, stay awake for 30 mins, doze off, wake up after 50 min, stay up for another 30 mins.during this period of short sleep and wake up, every slight movement in d compound dey noticed from my bed. This circle continues till past 4 am, then I can sleep partially deep till 5:30. Am used to it

Whenever it's time to go back to school, my siblings would cry. Most especially my younger sister. A day or two days before I'm to go back, aunty will lose appetite and be extremely quiet. I'd catch her sobbing quietly. It would break my heart.

I would even be thinking of staying back😂

On the day I'm to travel, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Tears upandan.

Even my mum would become emotional.

Someone that sees when the whole family is escorting me to the junction will think I'm going away for thirty years.

My mum would walk beside me. Her wrapped tied loosely up to her bosom with a gown beneath. At intervals, she'd use the end of the wrapper to wipe her eyes.

She'd be telling me to be strong even though she's the one crying.

My siblings would trail behind. Chin down with a very sad expression. My sister won't even be able to look me in the eyes.

Finally, a vehicle would stop and I'd get in struggling with my bags with my dad closely behind me.

My mom and siblings would keep waving till the vehicle is out of sight while wiping the corner of their red eyes and sniffing.

I'd sigh and look at my dad sitting beside me.

'Dad, you know I'm a big girl. I know the way to the park'

He'd smile softly. His eyes lighting up and crinkling by the sides.

'I know but you're still my baby'

Knowing I wouldn't win the argument, I'd stare out the window.

The park is where the trouble begins.

My dad would walk around telling whoever cares to listen, his young daughter is already in the University, with a proud look on his face.

Then they would start shouting "wow wow" like siren while I stand there like a goat wishing the ground would open up and swallow me.

He'd take it far by going to meet the driver to take care of me, his precious child as I was going back to the University after the holiday.

It might get to a point I'd have to put my phone on flight mode for a while.

There was a time I was going back to school and the vehicle spoilt at Benin. We had to lodge at a hotel there since it was very late at night.

My parents told me not to sleep at all but pray till the next morning. They said it's not safe as i don't know the place and anything could happen.

I didn't listen sha. The next morning i woke up to my whole body filled with bites from bedbugs.

My mum said it's because I didn't listen to her. If i was awake praying, it wouldn't have happened.
