runzlord: serously, nigeria women cant drive, they are just to scared, when u see a woman driving note that she is driving with one mind so take minutes before they make a decision on the road. If a woman is in front of you, you would almost cry, they would want to switch lanes, then they change their mind sort off, they become confuse and end of in the middle of the road blocking everybody at her back, and note she does this without traficating, in a nut shell an average nigeria woman drives like a learner or is a learner. Usaully when people drive like that or does not drive well, we at the back would just maintain and conclude it a woman thats driving and when the person finally allow us to pass, truly truly it would be a woman. Ive never be wrong on that. But the case is not like that in orther countries. The whole essay is inconsequential. You just wrote it without giving careful thought of your reader. However, I managed to deduce some points there, which likewise seems trivial. Who told you Nigerian women can't drive? My woman will disprove your baseless hypthesis anytime, anyday. Most men are even worse. Head to Lagos Mainland and watch the non-challant attitude of the commuters. While you are at this, notice the behaviours of private drivers high on weed, jedi, big stout, etc. And never attempt to overtake them- your car will be gone for good! |
I cannot be fooled anymore neither will every other sensible Nigerians. I suppose you all reasonable figures on Nairaland, not the dim-wits, understand the reason why she wasn't available yesterday. The logic behind her absence is simple- If that thief was there yesterday, things would have gone berserk. She waited to observe the heat of the hearing; and the possible questions. And while doing that her aides had analysed the possible response to the query. I bet she lost sleep over this by perusing the response over and over again. |
I will actually not. That is like creating more problems. Having a wife is a problem already, why creating more by having additional woman? |

prof1990: Ur English is the reason they need to call-off this strikeAnd you think this sentence of yours was properly constructed? By the way, why did you put hyphen between call and off in that sentence? Mr perfect, I can point out 4 good errors in that sentence. Moral: Learn how to improve someone's skills without exposing the subject to ridicule. Every one makes mistakes. And that does not exclude you. |
Enough of these please |

Knowledge9000: Yoruba busy bodies and their jealousy of Igbos, and now directing this in full force at our beautiful, brilliant, highly educated and high profiled Igbo women. Today is Stella Oduah, tomorrow is Oby Ezekwesili, next week it's Dora Akunyili, a week before was Ndidi Okereke-Onyiuke, few months ago was Joy Ogwu. Ungrateful people...these smart Igbo women are magnanimously running this country for the benefit of all; including you...Yorubas. What are you people contributing to this enterprise called Nigeria? Absolutely nothing. The Igbos, South-South and Hausas are running the show today in every level of the federal government....PRESIDENT, VICE-PRESIDENT, SENATE PRESIDENT, DEPUTY SENATE PRESIDENT, SPEAKER, DEPUTY SPEAKER, CHIEF JUSTICE OF THE FEDERATION...NO YORUBA ANYWHERE IN THE LEADERSHIP OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA THAT THEY CLAIM TO BE A MAJOR PART OF...VERY FOOLISH, WEAK, DECREPIT, FEAR-STRICKEN PEOPLE WITH LOW IQ. You all are not ashamed that you can't produce brilliant women of the caliber of Igbo women to contribute to the growth and development of this country. They will come up with the same ONE person Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti. That's all they got? Nuisance.Your expression contradicts your handle, disappointingly. Sorry but you lack acumen. Being a tribalistic chauvinist wouldn't take you anywhere. Not an inch close to the so called people of yours in power. What have these people you mentioned done to improve your lifestyle especially your discretion? Any positive contribution these people have made to better the life of your family and generation? Do they have any viable plan to improve your life in terms of education, good standard of living, etc? Instead of you to apply good judgement where it requires; you continue being subjective. I have an advice for you and other racialists, look inwardly into your life, and start making every possible effort to ensure your future is properly planned for 'cos these people give no damn about you! |
Joe50: this is me on low cut (step one)Nice hairline I reckon. But bros, why you come frown? E go better ![]() |
Nuvally: I pity your life...Her 17yrs old daughter is ur 30yrs Old sister's role model...and this came from a Jambite oSo every commenter is a teenager and jambite? You should go on mending your discretion-less manners |
Dreadlocks requires frequent needless attention, expenses and gibberish. Afro makes me look like 'old cargo' man. Cornrows, well I attempted it once, it does requires trivial, nonsensical observation like its counterpart- dreadlocks. Skin-cut- I tried it couple of times when I was young, a school mate said my head was big with that style, so I never tried it since then; but then again, it is a good style for most men. My choice is low-cut, I am lucky to have a good head shape and I am not bald either pardon my language, our baldies ![]() |

That sounds like narcissism. You need to keep checking out yourself every damn time. In the mirror hanging and dangling on your office wall; in the convenience; and your car inner mirror. You'd better start doing it if you don't 'cos it may be the last reflection of your perfectly created body on earth. It is not idleness; it is self-gratification and self-appreciation. Plus, stylish men and women check themselves out every damn time. |

biting cool: @maninmood: u insulting @werepeLeri was totally incalled for. What did he say to warrant your show of lack of verbal self control? Its people like you that downgrade NL. Must u throw insults @ d slightest opportunity. I bet u can't afford a plot of land in the bush..don't insult a man 'cos of his light banter with a fellow man #grow up.Well, may I suggest you do a bit findings on difference between 'insults' and 'calling one to order'. And contrary to the emboldened statement of yours, what if I tell you God has built a befitting 5 bedroom duplex + 2 bedroom bq for me, not to mention other great things. Please stop laying theoretical claims on someone's life, it does you no good. @Jarus: I am quite happy to see God has seen you through finally. May this never be the last in your life. The house is very elegant ![]() |

leofab: Mr. U.K Man, does that means that your wife is overhere in Nigeria driving around town without earning something to support the family. An idle mind is the devil's workshop, get her engaged before Musa the neighbour's gateman starts entangling her.Don't worry she's working. Some expenses does come outside the stipends sent home. And thank you, she is too decent to condescend to having intimacy with a gateman. Perhaps, your wife does that. Thanks anyway |
Policewoman: At least N1m month or its USD equivalentHow extravagant you are! God forbids my son meets your type. You are suicidal ![]() |
Androgen daisy: Nairaland babes I plan to find and marry the woman of my dreams soon.Hmm bro. Abeg negotiate with your employer o. Or better still, get an alternative financed shop to complement the salary. I send nothing less than 150k each month to my wife and 2 children. This excludes quaterly wardrobe stipends. And you know what, silly PHCN outages and non-subsidized, ridiculous petroleum prices cut this to nearly two-third, leaving them with the remaining meagre one-third to manage for food and other basic needs. How painful! Luckily, I have my own house, otherwise I will have to budget 150k monthly for housing. This aforementioned capital above pays my rent in the UK and bills(tv, electricity, gas, internet and phone). And of course a family of 4 can get by with 600pounds in a month. E DEY TOO MUCH SELF! Morals: No visible trade-offs between High standard of living vs low-income earnings in Nigeria. ![]() |
Eillyeillz: please ya should speed up the mobile version can't wait.coolest game ever...Can't wait neither! I am afraid it would be sold for an exhorbitant amount and I don't wanna jail break- afraid of getting caught by metro police Argh ![]() |

No more "Darling, new bb is out" ![]() Watch out for next nollywood movie: Iphone babes, Samsung babes, techno babes, iOS7 babes, android babes Mumu people ![]() |
WFE: The responses here is a sad reflection of the state of the Nigerian society. 'The pull them down' syndrome is an epidemic that is ravishing very fabric of our life. If we must make progresss as a nation, we must remove the twin evil of jealousy and hatred in our DNA.C'mon stop smoking weed. People are being objective here. Lol @ the cure of aids. If by chance they discover the cure for aids, would that put them in top 500? Manchester Uni for instance has been in existence for more than a century followed by lots and lots of successful research in tech, science, social science, etc. All these have not put them to top 20. In the next 200 years, perhaps, if they work really hard, get loads of innovation, the dream can be possible but not in your generation cuz other top unis are not sleeping neither are they docile. |
Mr Oyedepo, this dream of yours is quite funny; ridiculous if I may say. If by giving almost half of covenant graduates first class would push the school to top 10, then dreams is free ![]() He probably does not know why universities are rated. Notwistanding, I won't blame him since he only knows how to pile more and more millions, own fleet of jets and maybachs. Pastor jet, unis are graded with history and numbers of verified, innovative research breakthrough. And these breakthrough must contribute immensely to the development of our world not theoretical first class hand-over ![]() |
Sincere 9gerian: We know for sure that Tinubu dogs will never accept these explanations. But whether they accept it or not, it is now established that the cars were budgeted for and DUE PROCESS was followed. Those are the MOST IMPORTANT fact. You know what I do whenever I see your post? I skipped it 'cos I know there is no iota of truth in your writing. You should enjoy little stipends paid to you. Time shall tell |
